Since my boyfriend and myself have moved into this apartment back in October we have been dealing with flies that come from the drains, I have informed my landlord; Roger Collier about this problem and he said he was going to have someone in. My boyfriend also struggles with PTSD, so freak outs in the morning happen, sometimes interrupting other tenants in the building...with that being said Roger isn't a fan of my boyfriend. because we are new tenants we are not granted the smoking rule ( no smoking even in designated smoking areas. So one day my bf was outside smoking and Roger told him he can't sit there and smoke, but when I was sitting outside smoking Roger came up to talk to me and did not say a word. Thats DISCRIMINATION; Canadian Human Rights Act - R.S.C., 1985, c. H-6 (Section 3)

3 (1) For all purposes of this Act, the prohibited grounds of discrimination are race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, family status, genetic characteristics, disability and conviction for an offence for which a pardon has been granted or in respect of which a record suspension has been ordered.

Now it is July, we still have the flies...even though Roger said 8 months ago that he would bring someone in. We are also now having to deal with black mold. nothing has been done to fix this problem. Roger told me he brought in a "mold specialist" but later did I find out that they were just a renovation company. I later on complained to skyline and Luba from head office said she would bring a 'Mold specialist" in to review the problem, she later on told me she brought a specialist in...and then later on stated that she looked and she didn't see anything. I then found out she lied and did not bring a specialist in. The smell inside the apartment still reeks, and nothing is being done...if there was no mold than wouldn't it be easier to get a specialist in so that I would stop bothering you about this problem?
