I placed my order via the Tim Hortons App at 10:11 Am today November 16,2022.
I arrived to pick up my order at 10:15 am at which time it had yet to be made. I do understand it is a busy location. I waited patiently, my order was quite simple 2 large steeped tea with double cream.
I also ordered a 10 pk of timbits which I was paying cash for. The new team member had made an error (it happens) best way to train is during busy times, best way to learn. I had no problem with this. Another associate was attempting to rectify her error, I felt she was slightly shamed as I heard how she accidentally charged 10 boxes of 20, instead of showing her her mistake she took over my mobile order. Again quite a simple order. This order is the highlight of my morning. I have ONE chance to get my Timmies. This was it.
I received 2 large Coffee!
Steeped tea. The woman said 2 large steeped tea out loud and I watched her take the cups with my 2 creams around side and poured 2 coffee!
As I’m about to enjoy my highlight of my morning, I get see they are both coffee.
I telephoned the restaurant, now this woman wants me now to bring back the coffee.
Excuse me! I am at work. I cannot just leave across town on my lunch break to retrieve your error! And I better bring back the coffee! I could not get my answers out before I was bombarded with another question like I had done something wrong! It was a mobile order!
Then the CSR says, well I “guess we can make u another if u leave your name and bring back the coffee!” You guess!
I now have no morning highlight, no tea here no water that’s potable here no cream here and no steeped tea! I’m livid!
Desired outcome: 2 free beverages on top of my order and an apology 2 steeped tea lg w double cream delivered to 96 Regent street Lindsay On
