I ordered my LG washer and dryer face-to-face, in-store. I am led to believe the store manager took my order. I stated clearly that my current washer/dryer combination was stacked and I needed my new LG machines to be stacked. I also mentioned that both machines can use steam for cleaning and that all the parts would be included as part of the install fees. This did not happen.
On the first delivery date, the installers did not bring a stacking kit because it was not part of the order. The machines went back to the warehouse. After several phone calls with my store in Mississauga, I managed to get the stacking kit added to the order. After some thought, I decided to check if all the necessary pipes were included in the install - they were not! So this had to be added too. Later that evening, a store salesperson called to ask if the machines were going in the basement. The answer was no, they were going into the main (ground) floor. He then identified that metal braided pipes were needed to comply with local install codes. The order was amended again.
My issue is that the original sales person did not even ask the basic questions about the install and appeared to have no knowledge about his own processes and the parts required. This was shambolic. Nobody has called to apologize for this lack of professionalism! I'm never buying from CAS again.
Desired outcome: Apology and recompense for my time and aggravation in trying to fix their shortcomings.
