During the pandemic, we have days when we finish shopping and get ready to pay, and realize the rules have changed from previous weekend shopping. Even though we remain in same pandemic colour.
Some Saturday morning after shopping, we follow the signs to line up and an employee will direct us to least busy cashier. The following Saturday morning, there is no employee to direct us, and paying customer will search for the least busy cashier and begin lining up in the cashier lineup causing confusion and customers yelling at each other. (This also breaks the 2 meter rule). There has to be CONSISTENCY. The signs remain for lineup, but people are following their own rules, cause there is no Employee to direct them.
Desired outcome: Install an employee to direct customers to cashier, or remove the signs to line up.
Real Canadian Superstore - naturally imperfect bagged peppers
I'm pretty disappointed, I always shop at the real canafian superstore, I bought the bag of peppers friday October 30, 2017, brought it home to make stir fry and to my surprise 4 peppers (2 red and 1 yellow and 1 orange) all looked great from outer flesh but I cut them open and inside was mold, 2 peppers were ok, I have never in my life seen this and was utterly disgusting,
The store Country Village Road NE of Calgary used to sell whole watermelons for about $6.50. For some weeks now, those are not available. Instead, you either get one cut into (each costing about $5) or a little container of 4 slices for the same price. What this means is that you are now making twice the profit on one watermelon. Most annoying, they now cut off the sides of the halves and I believe they add those to the little containers. So one watermelon will be sold as two halves ($5 dollars each), with the sides chopped off to be added to a little container (another $5). Making a neat $15 for one watermelon that should have sold for $6.50. Really disappointed with this conduct. Please ask the store to resume the sale of whole watermelons. Thanks.
Real Canadian Superstore - customer service accepting photo of original receipt
I purchased a tv for the son at the Real Canadian Superstore location in Oakville in early August. A couple of weeks later my son returned to the store with a photo of the entire original receipt in order to obtain his student discount. He was informed that Real Canadian Superstore does not accept the receipt as a photo and that the original receipt was to be provided. Hard to believe that a store of this size in this day and age does not accept a photo of the original receipt. The Bay and Walmart and many other large chain stores are definitely more aware of the times that The Real Canadian Superstore. What would happen if I took a photograph of the receipt and destroyed my original (which luckily I did not) in order to retain any future warranty? Would the receipt then be valid. If so, why would it not be valid when attending at the store the discount? We will have to return to the store again (second trip) in order to obtain a minimal discount and we are not from Oakville area where the store is located.
Hope your policies are updated soon to reflect the age we are living in.
