I sent in a complaint and yet I have not received a response. This is such a ridiculous issue that this is allowing customers to believe that TH has no standards anymore.
This is an ON-GOING ISSUE at Strathroy Caradoc (located next to staples & ct gas bar)Tim Hortons and it really is not funny customers are given bundled napkins, example in photo. My last purchase of 1/2 dozen donuts and this is how I received napkins when I requested them. A hand full of crumpled up mess!
Ridiculous I say!
Claimed loss: NIL
Desired outcome: Training provided to employees to have a higher standard of service.
Tim Hortons - Drive through
On Saturday 5 June 2021 at approximately 7pm, I went through the drive through of the 425 Caradoc St S, Strathroy, Ontario location with my daughter.
The app offered 2 farmers wraps for $5, so I ordered that, and a Bacon Breakfast sandwich for my daughter which the app also offered for $1.99
At the speaker, the cashier only added the breakfast sandwich and one farmers wrap. I tried to tell her that I wanted 2 wraps, but she stopped responding. She didnt tell me a total, didnt ask if everything was correct, nothing.. simply stopped communicating. When I got to the window, I told her that I wanted 2 wraps because of the coupon. She then yelled to her co-workers that I only wanted 2 wraps and not the breakfast sandwich. I had to correct her again, and said "no, I would like the breakfast sandwich still, as well as the two wraps". She just stared at me like I was causing her a problem. Then I scanned the app and was confused about the price, as I didnt realize that I couldnt use both coupons. (My fault for not reading them correctly) I paid for the food, and she walked away from the window, but as she did I could hear her starting to complain about me very loudly (before the window automatically closed behind her). When I got the food, neither of the wraps were grilled, there was no egg, no cheese, and instead of the full amount of sausage on them, they were both cut in halves. I was already 10 minutes away by the time I realized it, and I was so angered by the treatment I had received that I didnt want to turn around to have it fixed.
On top of that, I ate the first one, and within minutes I got horrible stomach pains, and then horrible diarrhea.
Im livid. This location has frequently demonstrated poor customer service, and I just let it go, but with this, I have lost all desire to ever eat at Tim Horton's again.
I understand that people a have bad days, or may get frustrated with other customers, but I had done absolutely nothing to deserve being disrespected this way, and should not be the brunt of someone elses attitude.
