On february 10, 2020 at approximately 5:00am myself and four other coworkers went into tim hortons at 1094 Bloor St W, Toronto. We ordered 4 teas and 2 bagels etc upon opening the bagel we found that neither of the bagels were toasted which we had requested upon purchase. My coworker proceeded to tell an employee by the name of Patrick that the bagels weren't toasted as requested. After which an alleged manager came out and started being disrespectful saying that my coworker had used a bad word because she had a Caribbean accent. She then proceeded to start claiming she knows how to speak the jamaican language however my coworker is from st Vincent. They then had a back and forth which she told us to "get our [censored] out" and she will call the police to throw us out. Just because we're black and have an accent that doesn't mean we are from Jamaica the Caribbean is a big place. We deserve to be provided with a positive customer service experience after spending our money. I'm disgusted with this behaviour and a few customers voiced that they've experienced this behaviour with the same so called manager. I did not get her name but she was about 5ft 5 of light complexion Indian and wore an headwrap. I think her name was sahgee or something similar .

My friend did swear at Patrick. But in Jamaican. We did not know that the manager would know Jamaican. My friend did not swear directly at him, but called him a stupid MF. The manager understood this and told us that if we treat her employees this way we are not welcome here. My friend started swearing at her in English, and she asked us all to leave. Even if she was hostile it was for a good reason. They forgot to toast our bagels.
Patrick was acting racist as well. He told us that he would give us new bagels free of charge and that we can keep the bagels. The reason that he said this is because he thinks that because we are black we are homeless and poor and cannot afford bagels. HE felt sorry for us and let us keep the old ones without charging for the new ones. It was insulting. He also thinks that because we are black we messed with the bagels that were were originally given as a joke and would not let us return them. Because we are black he and the equally racist manager would rather give us free food, then the serve it to another customer either because they think we cannot afford the bagels because we are black and or because they think we did something to them. This is why my friend and she were arguing. We would rather pay for the bagels twice the price than be treated like we cannot afford the bengals.
