Lastman's Bad Boy - 4 piece sectional sofa

I purchased this sofa on Mar 29, 2023.Delivery was on Apr 4th, 2023.This sofa had a manufacturers defect on the loveseat. They left the 3 pieces they put together and took the loveseat back. On Apr 4th I contacted the store and spoke with Herbert. I text him a photo so that he could see what piece was missing. He acknowledged receipt of the picture. I heard no more so I phoned the store on Apt 11th and the person didn't know what I was talking about so I went to the store. I saw Christy the general manager and he was having trouble understanding what I said was wrong with the sofa so I took him and showed him what was wrong with the sofa on the floor model. Yes he said, I can get that out yo you but we don't have a driver. He took my number and said he would call me later. I was at the store 9:30 AM and got a call From Husna the sales lady at 2:30 pm. Here I was expecting a delivery date instead she told me she was waiting for a call from someone and would call me back when she heard from them. No call so in Apr 13th I called again. No Christy or Husna not working today so I asked who I was speaking with and it turns out to be Herbert. He was very busy handling issues for someone else and he would call me later. All day I waited so I text him you surely must have an answer by now. I got a call 10 minutes later rom a lady saying she was calling on Herberts behalf. My sofa is out of stock. I was lied to repeatedly. She could not tell me when I would get the piece and feel free to contact head office and the BBB. Very rude person.

Desired outcome: I want a delivery date or my money back. They can come and take this back. I will go somewhere else where I will be respected and not given the runaround.

Lastman's Bad Boy - Cancellation/refund policy

Ordered an item (a chair) from Bad Boy on 16/02/2021, almost 3 weeks ago. Credit Card charged immediately for full amount after the order was placed on-line . No information on delivery date, but the store is 4 km from my location. Choose Bad Boy to support local, Canadian business (had same offers from other sellers). Called today (speaking with sales representative Terelena), was informed the item will not be delivered for at least another 3 weeks, so the soonest delivery day is 1.5 months from the date of placing the order. Asked then for cancellation of the order and refund: was informed there is 25% cancellation fee. Placed the complain with my Credit Card customer service. Very upset, in times of Covid and 21 century robbing customers of money paid while not fulfilling obligation and not informing customers the delivery will take months.

Desired outcome: full return upon order cancellation

Lastman's Bad Boy - dining room table

Desirable resolution is a full refund of the table purchased. Purchased january 2nd have had 3 deliveries of damaged product. When speaking with customer service and management was told that I only had 3 options $80 off of product, they could send me a repaired table as all of what they had left was damaged or I could pick another product in the store of which I am not interested in and now been informed that the item is discontinued. At this point I want to return the table and receive a refund within the next 2-3 business days. I have had to take numerous days off work waiting for deliveries and receiving calls changing times etc. I will be contacting the news outlets and taking this to social media. I will never purchase or recommend this store to anyone. I can be contacted at [protected]

Lastman's Bad Boy - customer response support

I purchased a sectional sofa on Dec 27. It was delivered 28th. We signed for item thinking we could get it down the stairs Item was still wrapped in delivery crate/materials.
Item will not fit via opening
Contact store of purchase both service desk and manager were very unsupportive stating it was a head office issue and would not be able to return and be charged a 25 percent re sticking fee. Which is highly ridiculous considering it was delivered 10 minutes prior to me calling and it will not fit via the door space to even get the item to where is needs to go.
I contacted head office who then stated it was a store issue
Contacted store again who then said they would call me back. Two hours later I called again as no one contacted me and left another message to which again no one contacted me
I contacted to driver who informed he will pick up the item if the store requests so.
At this point it has now been 5 hours of me attempting to get this sorted with delivery with zero support from the store
I find the lack of customer support highly sad and honestly it seems that they want the sale and then that's it. So clearly they do not want customers to return to purchase items
I will say delivery depot was amazing as they called me back immediately and worked out pick up time but again not there job as the store should be handling customer concerns
I am also appalled at the 25 percent restocking fee for an item that does not fit and was not opened what kind of business shafts people and has such poor customer service policy.

Lastman's Bad Boy - buyer beware

My wife and I went to the bad boy store in whitby, on in search of a new living room set. We found a model we liked, though the floor model was a tan colour and we were in the market for something darker. The salesman produced a fabric swatch for the 'chocolate' version of the furniture. It seemed more to our liking, so we made the purchase. Unfortunately, when the furniture arrived, we were less than pleased. With the direct sunlight we get in our living room, the furniture no longer appeared very dark, and, worse yet, appeared more pink/purple than brown. The tags verified that it was the 'right' colour - it was just the change in lighting and setting that made the furniture clash with everything in our house.

I placed a call to bad boy's customer service. It went through to their voice mail. I had to call several times to get a live receptionist. At one point I was put on hold for 10 minutes then switched over to the voice mail for reception. When I finally got through to the right department and explained my situation, I was not met with a positive response (Something along the lines of "well what do you want us to do about it?"). I was eventually informed by a manager that absolutely nothing could, or would, be done. I could not pay a re-stocking fee and simply return it. I could not get store credit. I could not exchange it for the tan model. So, now I have a living room set that I don't want. I've ordered a set from another store (The united furniture warehouse), and they not only let me take home a cushion overnight to check the colour, they've guaranteed that, for the first 72 hours after delivery, I can return the furniture, no questions asked. Other furniture retailers, likewise, allow for the possibility that you might make a mistake in selecting a product. Not so with the bad boy.

We are also not happy with the Bad Boy, Whitby store. After looking for several weeks, we decided on a sectional at the Bad Boy Store, The Manager interrupted. the salesperson that we were with to say that there was the same sectional that was a floor model that was just delivered back to the store the day before. The Manager said it wouldn't fit into the person's room, so they brought it back to the store. So we figured that it was brand new, so we purchased it. When they delivered it, the corner piece had a broken frame, there is a mark in the leather, and it smells like stale cigarettes. As we do not smoke, we would never have purchased this if we had known it smelled like it does. Bad Boy will do nothing to make this right except to send a repair person out to fix the broken frame. So much for buying from a store, might as well have gone to Good Will, it probably have been in better condition and a lot less expensive. We will never buy from Bad Boys again and we will tell everyone who will listen to us about our expierence! If you want to be SCAMMED, go to Bad Boy, they'll take your money!.
