I am writing to make a complaint on the return policy and minimal level of concern for customer satisfaction in two Yves Rocher stores. I bought a gift basket and wanted to return it.
The first time I tried to return it was at Place Rosemere mall, QC, and they wouldn't take the return since it was between dec 26 and Jan 5, which is ridiculous, first because usually returns are only not taken on Boxing Day, secondly in terms of customer satisfaction, I am lugging around a heavy basket and the sales person didn't have any consideration to make an exception for me.
Then, I tried to bring it back at Carrefour Laval after Jan 5, lugged it around again through that huge mall, and they refused to give me a refund because they said I had to go to Rosemere, where I bought it, again not making an exception for a customer who has a heavy basket, they know it's the second time I attempt to return this basket. PLUS it says in NO such place on the bill that I have to go to where I bought it to get a refund. And when I said it's the last time I'm coming here because of the lack of care for clients, the employee's response was "ok". This employee showed ZERO respect for the two clients in front of her and neither did the manager who refused to accommodate me.
If you want people to return to where they bought the product, you should have it clearly stated on the bill. I find this VERY frustrating. I have two small children, no time for anything after work and home life, and I now have to go to your store a THIRD time.
If Yves Rocher has no concern for the satisfaction of their customers, I have no problem finding somewhere else to purchase my skin care products as there are many options out there!
