I am very disappointed with the protocol of canara bank.
I have recently got robbed and lost my phone and wallet which have my UPI and Debit card of canara bank.
I tried to call the customer care for temprorary blocking my UPI and Card but the response i got was " you need to call from registered number"
But I wanted to know how can i call from my registered number when i lost my phone.
This cause me loss of couple of thousands, which was lot for me.
I wanted to know how can i stop fraud online or cash transaction in such scenarios.
I am very very disappointed with the service
Claimed loss: Rs 67000
Desired outcome: I would like to have a refund against the amount which i have lost.
