On 8/21/2023 I purchased 3 items, Paid the invoice amount and planned to pick up the items Thursday August 24th. I was reviewing the invoice Wednesday August 23rd and realized that the pick up date was for Wednesday not Thursday, I immediately reached out to Caring Transitions to explain that I missed read the pickup date, The owner {franchise) Susan Roddy emailed me that she could have someone meet me Monday for $20.

I emailed Susan Roddy back that unfortunately Monday does not work for me. and I don’t need anyone there it would be ok to leave the items outside by the garage door or a place convenient as such. Hopefully that works out better for her. Or feel free to refund me.

Here is her reply back to me

"We do not refund for missed pick-ups, your bid is your contract to purchase and it is your responsibility to arrange for pickup of your items. This is all stated in our terms and conditions.

We do not have the ability to leave these items out for you to pick up at your convenience as there is a real estate transaction happening with the property. As a one-time courtesy, I will not charge you the disposal fee for these items."

At this point I could tell she had no intentions to help me obtain the items I purchased, So I contacted the owner of the items and made arrangements with him and everything was going well... Apparently Susan didn't like that I contacted the owner directly, So she changed my paid Invoice to show an unpaid balance and suspended my account.

Desired outcome: Remove the $20. unauthorized addition from my paid invoice, remove my suspension that affects the other Caring Transitions Franchise Owners not able to get my business.
