When I was hired about a month ago my starting pay was $12.00 per hours. I was not informed at that time that was salary would be decreased to $10.00 per hours if I did not want a key to the store. Mine you I have access to the store safe. One Friday, August 21st, the store manager of the Douglasville GA location advise me that my pay will be reduced to $10.00 per hour if I do not want a store key over the phone. I have never when written up or given a warning to reduce my pay. I was informed if I did not take a store key my pay will be reduced. There is nothing in my new hire contract that states my pay will be reduced by $ 2.00 if I choose to not take a store key. I work out of a retail store in Douglasville, GA
Desired outcome: I would like to ensure the company changes its policy on disclosure of pay regarding holding a store key at the time of hiring. Also, an apology would be nice.
