I purchased health insurance with prescription drug coverage on 12/14/2021. I was told by the agent Cody McClinton, at the time of purchase, that with my prescription coverage I would not be charged more than $10 per medicine. When I went to use the plan at my pharmacy, I was being charged more than $10 for each one of my medicines. When I called to ask about why, the agent transferred me to his supervisor, who hung up the phone on me when I questioned why I was paying more than the $10 I was Quoted.
At the time I purchased the plan, I was told that I had 30 days to cancel the plan. When I called today to cancel said plan, the agent transferred me to another number who told me that they had nothing to do with my plan and they could not help me.
The agent I believe was knowingly lying to me about my coverage just to try and sell me a policy.

Desired outcome: I woul'd like the policy cancelled and receive a full refund of all monies paid to them

I agree with, this company lies a lot. I lost $395.88 because I was not told they were taking the first payment up front on a policy I will never use. I was told they would hold the price until I decided. So agent Brooke was not totally up front on what she was going to do. I tried for weeks and many calls and emails to get my money refunded to no avail.

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS THEY ARE CROOKED AND DISHONEST.

I can also confirm this Cody McClinton guy is a con man. I'm embarrassed I fell for it. Thankfully I was able to get all of my money back, but not without a fair amount of effort.

If you realize you have been conned by Cody McClinton or any other supposedly legitimate insurance agent connected to you by Everquote, make you sure you record all of your calls in the process of getting refunded. Let them know at the beginning of the call that it is being recorded. Other entities involved in this included siabenefits.com and premierhsllc.com.
