Beside the fact that this fiberglass hood is extremely well designed, it's a real head turner, you know? And let me tell you, the way Cervinis packages their product is just top-notch. They really know how to do it right, you know what I mean? They package it up with these steel supports, which is pretty cool if you ask me. And guess what? When it arrived, there wasn't a single scratch or dent on it. It was like brand spanking new, you know? And when I went to install it, man, it lined up perfectly. I didn't have to do any crazy adjustments or anything. It just fit like a glove, you know what I'm saying? Overall, I gotta say, Cervinis really knows how to deliver a quality product. I'm super happy with my purchase and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a killer fiberglass hood. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

I bought my Cervinis stalker hood for my 2017 F150 from the American Trucks website. They said it was in stock, but it took like a whole month for me to get it. The hood looks nice, but everything else was a big disappointment. Cervinis claims that the ram air function on this hood works with most cold air intakes. Let me tell you, it doesn't work with ANY of them. When you close the hood, the channel outlet just sits right between your cold air intake box and the factory channel. It basically blows air into your engine bay. I had to jerry-rig another channel to direct the air into the airbox.

Now let's talk about water routing. Cervinis claims that the water from rain or washing is supposed to go off to the side. Well, guess what? It doesn't. After my first wash, I opened the hood and there was a freaking swimming pool on top of my battery and in my cold air box. I paid attention to how much water I sprayed on the hood while washing, and it really wasn't that much. What a terrible design, Cervinis!

And closing the hood is a whole workout. If you try to close it by grabbing the center, the hood starts to bend and you get this feeling like it's gonna crack one day. I have to grab both ends with my arms spread wide to minimize the bending near the bolts.

As for fitment, it's about 90% accurate. But let me tell you, never ever buy the hood already painted. Trust me, it's a nightmare if the hood arrives damaged or the paint shade is off, which it probably will be. I had the paint shop match my truck's paint before they painted the hood, and believe me, that was a much better way to go.

Overall, guys and gals, DO NOT buy the Cervinis Stalker hood for your Ford F150. I can't speak for the Mustangs, though. I mean, yeah, it looks cool, but honestly, this was the worst project I've ever taken on for my truck. I think RK Sport is a better alternative. And definitely stay away from Duraflex hoods too.

Don't even bother wasting your precious time with Cervinis because all they do is waste yours. So, I went ahead and ordered a hood from them at the Carlisle Ford Nationals, and they had the audacity to tell me it would be delivered in a mere 3 weeks. But guess what? It didn't show up until a whopping 5 weeks later. Can you believe that?

But wait, it gets even better. When I finally went to pick up the hood, I noticed that the paint was all chipped up. And get this, the packaging they used was a joke. I mean, seriously, they just shrink-wrapped it and threw it in a flimsy cardboard box with a few measly foam blocks in the corners. I paid good money for this hood, and you would think they could at least package it properly.

So, I called them up to return the hood, and what do they tell me? They need photos of the damage and the hood itself before they can even start working on a replacement. I explained to them that I had military orders coming up in a couple of weeks, so I needed this issue resolved quickly. But did they care? Of course not.

I sent the hood back as requested, only to receive a call a few days later saying that they had refused it. Can you believe the nerve? The shipping company then had the audacity to tell me that I would have to pay for the return shipping and storage fees if they didn't take it. Cervinis had the nerve to claim that I needed to wait for return shipping approval, but nobody bothered to mention that when I was on the phone with them. I even offered to drive the three hours to pick up the new hood and bring the old one back, but they shot me down. The only thing they were willing to do was split the cost of the return. Can you believe that?

I just don't understand how they can blame the customer when they don't bother to explain the process properly. At that point, I had had enough and decided to open a case with the BBB. Their first response was a joke, claiming that they were doing me a favor by offering to install the hood. But let me tell you, driving seven hours round trip and spending an extra $150 on gas, not to mention taking a day off work for two people, is not my idea of a favor. I had to bring a truck just to get the old hood back home.

Of course, they'll probably file a claim with their insurance to cover the damages, but that's just not good enough. I replied to them saying that their offer was unacceptable. Finally, they came back with another offer: they would install the hood and give me $150. I reluctantly accepted, but let me tell you, the drive up there took a grueling three hours. I'm convinced they did it out of spite.

What really baffles me is that we had been to Cervinis before to have a hood installed, and it only took them 45 minutes. How can a company like this stay in business? Their lack of customer service is absolutely mind-boggling. The way they give you the runaround, blame the customer, fail to deliver on time, it's just a complete nightmare. And to top it all off, I'm extremely disappointed with the cost I paid to have the underside painted. It's full of scratches and imperfections. Can you believe it?

Cervinis, you really need to step up your game. Seriously, you can do so much better than this. I'll make sure to spread the word about how poorly you treat your customers. As for me, I'll be taking my hard-earned money elsewhere.
