My service was 1k. I put down 250.&Cherry wld finance the rest. I set up my acct on file w/ them, bcas they offered 0 interest for a year if you pay it back in time. If your payment is 5 days late- even once, the interest on your payment goes up& every monthly payment thereafter& the 0 interest goes away. They automatically set it up on my card w/out asking what payment method I wanted to use for autopay, which I wld have preferred using my bank. So I switched the card out a couple of days later 2 my bank acct which the rep who took my [protected]@ the company was reluctant to update. Stating that I already had a card on file. But told him I wld rather use my acct. He said he updated the info- but wondered if he really did. The next thing I knw I get a text 5 days after my 1st payment was due telling me I'm now 5 days late& I need to call& make a payment. I called them back telling them I've already provided my payment,& it was already set up on auto pay. They said yes they saw the payment on file but apparently my bank refused it. I gave them the same info they had on file& they said it matched but it went through when I called to verify. 🤔 I am not sure why I got the text 5 days after the payment was due to tell me about the issue& or courtesy call the day of or after when the issue arrised, but now they're telling me that bcas my payment was 5 days late I lost my 0 interest my payment each month wld increased by $10 bcas of the add interest &my annual interest goes into effect. I closed out my acct w/ them 1 day later. This company does not EVEN offer any type of physical card like Care credit does for ex. They offer no paper statements. So u can't follow up to make sure that everything is set up right, follow your balance. They want u to log into a portal& register to get that info. Since no card, every time u go into for a service u have to constantly re-apply for a new loan. It's absurd, whack, inconvenient &frankly the last time I do business with them.
Desired outcome: The interest paid back on my first payment because I closed the account
