The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
The owner, operator of that restaurant said he was sorry that I was frustrated with their insurance company - that a lot people had trouble with insurance companies. He said he could not do anything about it. He is totally disconnected with the incident in every way. He did say, however that the company is checking their products, supplier, invoices, receipts, etc. for any problems. Given his response to this situation, I WONDER WHY?!
You needed an attorney, they always say this unless you get an attorney. I know of someone in Texas that broke her tooth, she went to my friend that is an attorney. Then, chickfila sent the legal letter to their own supplier, and the supplier's general counsel then contacted the lawyer and they settled the claim for 35k. All the client suffered was a broken tooth and chipped tooth (tooth 3 and 4), 3500 in full damages.
