Alex has stolen several thousand dollars from me, and did so by forms of deception. Work was done for Alex as a good gesture of business, and after the work was complete, he pulled the credit card payment back. This boy has zero integrity, no morals and yet he calls himself a Marine. The Marines, have never heard of him. So again... SCAMMER... THIEF, and whatever else a boy like this deserves to be called. If you order from his site, be careful as he does not always send the items ordered, and laughs about how many people he has ripped off and brags he will never get caught.

I thought Marines had integrity, but like I said... The Marines have never heard of him, so don't believe his lies and be careful doing any business with this character.

To Linda McC:

After seeing the dog I was originally going to get in action, I believe that Alex made the right decision in substituting. The dog I have is much better suited to my lifestyle and needs than the one I originally asked for.

Phillip Rein has his papers for Oliver Leryka, but does not admit this.
Linda McCorkle, was paid back in FULL, but does not admit this.
Cristin Guenther did not pay $2500 for Ejmy I helped train "Tramp" from Mrazovak K9 into a biting dog.
Petr Sprurny stole $10K of equipment from me, tried to steal my business while I was in the hospital, and I am the one being victimized. Thank you the Owner.

My husband who is a purple heart recipient 4x military veteran, myself a 3x Veteran paid a total sum of $2, 000 cash (That is all he accepts) for Alex Dunbar to train our Western German Shepherd Ariela. I wanted her trained in both protection, Search and Rescue, and obedience.

I was sexually assaulted in Iraq and deal with PTSD where as my husband was close to being a captured POW who was sucked into a rioting crowd 300 plus Serbians. We both wanted a dog who I could count on to keep both of us safe, especially myself when my husband is 100% disabled. We need some ease and comfort back into our lives.

I wanted Search and Rescue; because I wanted to be a part of our community who does not currently have any S&R K-9’s. After Alex heard our story, he felt so obliged in helping us out. This man who I assume hides behind the shield of the Marine Corps who I later found out is a desk jockey recruiters add, and portend to outreach to former military so he can scam us out of our blood and sweat money we worked so hard to for.

I wrote a former review on Rip-off, which I had asked Rip-Off to kindly to remove after the return of my dog (which never did happen), I don't want people to buy into this man’s propaganda. I only wrote a good review to assure the return of my female Shepherd Ariela who Alex Dunbar 'proclaimed' was his on “Doomsday Pepper”. Ariela is 100% Western German Shepherd working lines, I assure you has no ties to the bloodlines of his kennel.

Alex’s generous extension for her to stay longer, was not what I believe was out of kindness, but more or less a plot to either what I assume is to steal or use her for the national geographic Doomsday Prepper show.

After my breeder warned me of the danger, I was on the phone telling Alex we would be ready earlier then expected to pick up Ariela. When she was returned she knew one command, "Sit" which is what "I" taught her. Alex said he worked really hard on my dog, which I unfortunately can't prove or disapprove but I don't think his level of training, knowledge, and skill set was not enough to get her trained in the areas he and I discussed. I mean serious she knows NOTHING!

My breeder was the one who notified me immediately about this scam artist, and had it not been for Jerry I may not even have my dog. Please do not send your dog to train with this man, he is not who he says he is. He promised us a contract, he promised us a word sheet in the new language he was going to teach her (which he knows like 2 words in), and we never received anything. Listen my dog only knows one language, and that is ENGLISH.

Don’t be duped, there is a reason why all his YouTube videos are set up so that people cannot comment on them. He buys these dogs pre-trained from overseas (at the expense of his scams) and try’s to scam people into the belief he can train them. Never once did he show me anything he taught my dog, all he did is meet me up at Wal-Mart during every pick-up saying what an exceptional dog I have, and how everyone just thinks how amazing of a dog she is.

Everything seen on the show is what this dog does naturally, and has nothing to do with ‘CQB K9’ Training. I have been scammed. Alex threatened these words to me, “I don’t take kindly to threats, ” he called my breeder and didn’t even have a word to say just some creepy breathing.

This guy is very dangerous, and he does have weapons that he buys with the money he scams us with. He expressed his willingness to use them to me on when picking up Ariela. He unwittingly with play on words threatened to kill me over the phone should I push the fact that Alex Dunbar ripped us off. Please this man is dangerous, and not to be trusted with anyone’s animals or money.

He is not a trainer, he has no credentials! If I had money I would lawyer up and if anyone out there can help us get our money back I would be forever grateful! She is truly an amazing dog, but if anyone is to take credit for this dog it's the Breeder who sold her to me, and her bloodlines not CQB K9. I can’t allow her name to be tainted by a dishonest company or allow another innocent person fall prey to this man’s lies. He is a con-man nothing more, and nothing less. He is skilled and his con-man profession. Don’t be duped.

PLEASE LEAVE FEED BACK ON DOOMSDAY PEPPERS, on ANYTHING he posts too, and destroy this mans reputation before he gains anymore victims. I won't stop until this man refunds me all of my money! So if you are reading this Alex, "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." You took money away from honest hard working veterans that live on a fixed disabled income. Shame on you. Return our money.

Please use caution with this guy, he is dangerous

Alex if you are reading this, return the money to took, and stole from us. Make right from the wrong. Just think you stole money from a disabled veteran who lives off a fixed income. You should feel ashamed!

To anyone who relied on my opinion and chose to do business with Alex Dunbar, I am truly sorry to have misled you. He now owes me $1000.00 also. I took a pup from him to train for a wounded warrior. It was donated by him to the soldier, but I did all the initial imprinting and training of the dog. I did this training free of charge. However, when we picked her up from Alex, he said we needed to take a different pup instead. That puppy he gave me was severely injured after she was attacked by the other pups in her litter, and wasn't sure if she'd make it or not. We needed to take her to the vet (I got stuck with that vet bill), and then she needed to be spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped (which I paid for). All of those things Alex said he'd reimburse me for. He never did. I placed her with a wounded veteran and she did great for him at first. Then the hip dysplasia popped up and she started going blind, all before she was 18 mos. old. She began attacking people without provocation, which I think was attributed to her loss of vision. I had her evaluated by 2 other trainers before I suggested Anka be euth'd. I got stuck with that bill, too.

I have been to his "kennel" in the San Luis Valley. They are merely pens set up outside and kept filthy, without running water. The dogs are thin and barely handled, let alone "trained." The only good dog he has on the property is one that came from a different kennel, pre-trained before he got the Malinois. Almost 3 years ago, he was supposed to breed that male (recently advertised on Doomsday Preppers as an explosives alert dog, despite having ZERO training for that task) to my female, but has put out every excuse in the book for why he couldn't drive the dog 3 hours to where I lived at the time (CO), said he was almost to my place in SD but the dog got sick (so he drove it 900 miles home? How about taking it to a vet?). Then he was going to get the dog collected so we could do an AI breeding once I got to VA. He claimed to have Sparko tested but his sperm count was low. Gee, the dog is now almost 9 y.o. Guess we can cross that breeding off the list, although I seriously doubt he paid a vet to do a sperm count.

As to his "training" of the dogs he sells. Wow, I can't believe people sent him money without asking to see a video of the dog performing what he claims it knew. Honestly, that's a good case of buyer beware and using some common sense. I had Carman at my house to whelp one of his many "oops" breedings. I was suprised that he'd keep/breed/sell a dog so seriously people shy and fearful. He ended up selling her to some folks in WA, I think. They returned her when they discovered she wasn't housebroken, didn't know any commands, and was afraid to come out of the corner or do anything with the family. Anyone on here who bought a dog from him based on my recommendations, I really am sorry. It was poor judgement on my part to agree to help him when he asked me to write up a rebuttal to an earlier claim.

As to his military experience. I requested and received from the DoD a copy of his service record. He was never on any missions. Ever. Never. Did not happen. He spent a good portion of time on leave and working in a recruiter's office, however. I can't believe Nat Geo didn't vet his credentials before airing that show. He's never worked in the Middle East, done counter-intelligence (nor attended any of the MI schools required for that MOS), or been a covert secret agent ninja whatever the current claims are. He can tell a good story though.

Again, I apologize if you were ripped off after reading my glowing recommendation. I was foolish and it was poor judgement on my part.
This is from VICTIM, TOO on RIPP OFF

ALEX IS NOT A VETERAN, IF YOU ARE THEN PUBLISH YOUR DD214 ON THE BROWSER PHOTO UPLOAD FILE. YOU KNOW HOW TO USE IT, BECAUSE YOU POSTED UP A PICTURE OF YOUR ASSAULT RIFLE TO DEMONSTRATE THAT YOU WILL SHOOT US? THAT YOU WILL USE IT? THAT IS WHAT YOU TOLD ME AT OUR WAL-MART MEETING.

YOU CALLED MY DOG BREEDER UP, USING YOUR BREATHING? WOW THAT IS JUST BEYOND DESPERATE.

LIKE THIS GUY SAID, YOU GIVE ME MY MONEY AND YOU WILL NEVER HEAR FROM ME AGAIN.

You guys want the whole scope on Alex Dunbar? I'll give it to you in fine detail! This man, Alexander Rolfe Dunbar is my father and a pretty terrible one at that as he has ignored me my whole life. He didn't go public with his "business" until I was a legal age of 18. He did serve in the marines, but he was kicked out after two years for disorderly conduct. This man is a terrible and horrible human being. DO NOT GIVE HIM YOUR MONEY.
