Angelo and his team provided a perfect move from start to finish
Angelo and his team provided a perfect move from start to finish. Email and phone communications ahead of time were clear and responsive. Angelo and his team executed our move exactly as expected during both pickup and delivery. I would happily use them again and recommend them without hesitation. Completely honest and not a single issue with any of my items. They were quick, respectful, and careful. Thank you!
Angelo and Mike are honest, kind, hard working and efficient
Angelo and Mike are honest, kind, hard working and efficient. They were very careful with every item as well as the house and did not dirty or scratch anything. No hidden fees or extra charges after the fact, everything was explained to us and they stuck to it. I was worried about moving so many fragile items but they took very good care of everything. Thank you very much for a smooth and successful move across provinces.

I am so glad I went with Cloverdale to move from Calgary to New Westminster. As somebody who has moved many times, this was the best experience I've had. Great attention to detail, assured I understood the entire process and was very quick, kind and accommodating. They truly have your best interest in mind. Thanks Cloverdale!
AWESOME! I want to thank Angelo & his team for a completely stress free move. In my experience it is very difficult to find a reputable moving company. After several weeks of quotes, emails, calls and reading consumer reviews, I became very disillusioned with it all. Then I found Cloverdale at the very last minute. The reviews on various consumer platforms and the ComplaintsBoard.com were amazing. I felt very confident that I'd finally found a mover I could trust and it was true. The experience from start to finish was exceptional. Phone, Email and text communications ahead and during were timely, clear and concise. No hidden fees or extra charges, everything was explained clearly and the quote was right on the money. If you are looking for Integrity, efficiency, respectfulness and excellent communication, look no further. I will definitely call upon Angelo and the team for future service without hesitation.
Angelo and his team were friendly, caring, and efficient when moving us from Alberta to Cloverdale, British Columbia
Angelo and his team were friendly, caring, and efficient when moving us from Alberta to Cloverdale, British Columbia. I would highly recommend them to anyone! They answered all of my questions in a timely manner, communicated the schedule for my move, and ensured all my belongings were properly taken care of while in their possession. Thank you once again for taking something that could have been so stressful and making it easier than I could have ever hoped for!
There was a significant discrepancy in the weight and cost of my move from Kelowna to Nanaimo, with the final tally reaching 19,246 pounds and a cost of $12,263.86. After considering various options, I chose Cloverdale Moving VanLines for their excellent reviews and the most affordable estimate for a 2-bedroom condo at 3800 lbs, priced at $1850.00. However, I was aware that my belongings, which included large pieces, antiques, and solid wood furniture, would likely weigh more. Anticipating this, I requested quotes for 6000 lbs and even up to 8,000 lbs to cover the possibility of additional weight.
Previously, I had moved from a spacious 4-bedroom house in Vancouver to a similar-sized home in Kelowna. That move, which encompassed bicycles, tires, garden tools and equipment, patio furniture, and various household furnishings, amounted to 11,440 lbs. On the day of the move, around 5:30 pm, I received a call from Angelo informing me that my items weighed in at a staggering 19,246 lbs, leading to a cost of $12,263.86. Moreover, he insisted on delivering them on February 3rd, instead of the previously agreed date of February 6th. This sudden change, coupled with the exorbitant cost, was beyond belief, especially since I had only budgeted $6500.00 for the move.
Upon the arrival of my belongings on February 6th, Angelo refused to unload them until payment was made, a sum I was unable to provide. Despite the circumstances, I resolved to compensate him for his efforts. Adding to the complications, Angelo R. left behind two carpets in Kelowna, which necessitated additional arrangements to transport them to Nanaimo. He also left my Queen size hideabed in the garage after claiming it wouldn't fit in the intended space. Furthermore, Angelo did not place the boxes in the designated rooms, nor did he itemize or inventory them, leaving me to manage these tasks.
Angelo had not conducted a preliminary assessment of my home and its contents before the move, a mistake I now recognize as a warning sign. I should have been more cautious about accepting a quote based solely on the descriptions provided on his website. On the day of delivery, I requested that Angelo reweigh his truck at an official government scale with me present, but he refused. It is commonly understood that the average weight for a 4-bedroom family home is around 6,000 lbs, a figure I found on various websites.
This entire experience has been distressing, and I believe that Angelo R. and Cloverdale VanLines should be held responsible for their excessive pricing. They should address the overcharged move, the additional costs incurred to transport the two carpets to Nanaimo, and the expenses related to the hideabed that Angelo R. failed to properly place.
These guys are professionals. They are personable, flexible eager to help, and very capable. Our household items included framed artwork, antique mirrors and 9 boxes of china (all marked 'fragile') and not one thing got broken. The next time I move I'll be calling them back. Thanks Cloverdale Movers.
From the first contact to the completion of our move, the staff at Cloverdale was by far the superior choice from the handful of companies that I contacted prior to our move. Gana, Angelo and Mike were patient, professional and efficient in moving us from Calgary to Victoria. I would strongly recommend Cloverdale moving!

The team at Cloverdale Van Lines made our move easy and worry free
The team at Cloverdale Van Lines made our move easy and worry free. You get what you pay for and these guys are worth every penny. All of our stuff arrived intact and they were super helpful through all steps of the process. When you move by weight often time folks don't realize how much their stuff actually weighs and can end up with sticker shock so this team provides photographic evidence so there is no worrying about the numbers. I highly recommend them!
We had a wonderful experience working with Cloverdale Vanlines from start to finish. We received a response with an online quote from them very shortly after we reached out and the Gana in the office gave us a thorough explanation of how the process works, as this was our first long-distance move. She was wonderful each and every time I called to confirm or clarify something. On our moving day, our two movers showed up promptly as scheduled and were really awesome people to work with. They were kind and warm, but also efficient and treated our stuff with care. They made suggestions for specific items we should pack differently, asked questions where necessary, and helped us package some sheets of glass that we weren't sure how to best pack safely. They had a great sense of humour throughout and I had full confidence throughout their truck-packing process that they would take good care of our possessions. Once packed, we followed Angelo and our other mover to the scales to see the weight of the truck. Being there gave us peace of mind knowing exactly how much our belongings weighed. We needed our things stored for roughly 26 days, so it was extremely convenient that Cloverdale VanLines includes this in their services. Upon move-in, we once again had the movers show up at the scheduled time and in great spirits. They were excellent in helping position boxes in the appropriate spaces in our new home and gave us details about how things were packed. The little extras they did (like position my very heavy tabletop so that I could attach the legs without struggling) was much appreciated. Not a single item was damaged during the process, which is pretty incredible given the weight of items and the distance travelled (Calgary to Vancouver), plus the extra unloading/loading for storage. I'd absolutely use their services again if we end up doing another big move.
Angelo and Gana were super helpful throughout the entire process answering any questions and concerns that I had. On the actual move day I was very impressed at the efficiency of the move...on both ends! I would highly recommend them to friends and family thx again Cloverdale!
My family used Cloverdale Moving service to move from Vancouver to ***. We are very happy with their services. Communication with the office was easy, all of our questions answered promptly and our schedule accomodated. The move itself went very smooth. As I was observing Angelo and his co-worker, Vedran, I could tell they take good care of our belongings and are very professional. All of our items arrived undamaged and on time. Angelo and Vedran are not only good in their profession, but also fun to be around. We highly recommend Cloverdale Moving services. Having a great moving team take care of your belongings will make your move less tiring and stressful.
I had Cloverdale Van Lines move me twice and they were amazing both times. I would very much recommend them. Nice and friendly service they went over and beyond. They looked after everything for me. Couldn't ask for better.
Our movers - Mike and Angelo - both did an excellent job, and worked very well as a team
Our movers - Mike and Angelo - both did an excellent job, and worked very well as a team. They were efficient and effective as they moved our materials from our 9th floor Edmonton condo to Kelowna, as well as Calgary to Kelowna. In a few cases, they went beyond the contract to get our furnishings up to our second floor, using innovative and safe techniques. And all with a friendly attitude and good cheer when encountering challenges. We whole-heartedly recommend them.
Angelo moved me from Edmonton to Vancouver, in the middle of pandemic nonetheless
Angelo moved me from Edmonton to Vancouver, in the middle of pandemic nonetheless. They were kind, courteous and honest. This was my first long haul move and I felt completely taken care of. They explained everything to me, took pictures of the truck scale to confirm their honesty. Not a single item of mine was lost or broken. It was completely easy and pain free. I spent a lot of time comparing moving company prices and reviews - they by far were the most reasonably priced and great customer service. I appreciate everything they did for me!
The most professional, courteous and kindest couple of guys I have come across
The most professional, courteous and kindest couple of guys I have come across. Made our entire cross-border move go extremely smoothly from start to finish. Answered all our questions promptly and kept us updated all the way through. They promised what they will deliver and delivered what they promised! The owner (Angelo) coordinated our whole move and took charge of safeguarding all our priced furnishings. All in all, they handled our cross-border, multi-phased move very smoothly and precisely. Now we know who our go-to movers are in the future if we are ever moving again. Excellent service!

I have used Cloverdale moving several times over the past 15 years. Each time I have been very happy with the experience. This last time, Angelo and his teammate moved me from Vancouver to Kelowna. The 2 of them were very efficient and took particular care making sure everything was well protected. At both places I had extra items that were too heavy for me to move which I was not keeping. Gratefully, they moved the items for me and also went out of their way to hook up my washer/dryer (saving me good chunk of money) so I could use right away. This is something they don't normally do or will guarantee but was greatly appreciated. They have many years experience and I would highly recommend them. My only disappointment is that they do not do local moves anymore, but if you are moving from one city to another, then definitely give them a call.

I used Cloverdale for my move from Vancouver to Calgary at the end of April. My experience with Angelo and Vedran was exceptional - they are friendly, professional and super efficient at their job. I wasn't able to go pick up moving boxes and Angelo went out of his way to help me with this. The entire team was super helpful from the day I started calling around for moving companies. Gana was lovely - she was super accommodating and helpful with getting everything set up for us from the very beginning. Angelo and Vedran showed up the day of the move ready to get to work and were super efficient and very helpful to get everything moved out in a timely manner. All of my things showed up in Calgary very quickly and in great condition. No complaints at all - I highly recommend Cloverdale and I would definitely use them for a move again. Thanks for the great work and smooth move! I appreciate all of your hard work that you did.

During a time when me and my partner had to move from Calgary to Vancouver for her career, and then Vancouver to Edmonton for my career all within 1 year, we were extremely stressed. During my first move, I had been looking up moving companies that would offer superior customer service to help us during this frantic time. Most other companies were not as accommodating and reasonably priced as Cloverdale during our initial vetting. Cloverdale was accommodating on pick-up and drop off - always working around our schedule. Providing insurance with the move also reassured that this company was more accountable than others. Angelo arrived with a professional team who on-time and quickly loaded the truck, arrived to the drop off on-time, and unloaded quickly, safely and efficiently. When I booked the 2nd move, they went above and beyond to provide superior service as I was a repeat customer. This company values and rewards loyalty. There are no other moving companies like it.

The actual moving was fine--the movers arrived more or less on time, followed instructions for where to put things, and nothing broke. Everything to do with communication, paperwork, and service was decidedly not fine: 1) The office's confirmation email contained different terms from the movers' paperwork. (And the movers didn't show me their version of the terms, or the contract the office hadn't mentioned, until AFTER my stuff was already loaded.) The office's terms covered price, dates, and the fact that the company didn't provide packing materials. The movers terms included, among other things: several caveats about what they weren't responsible for damaging (such as delicate furniture and anything they hadn't packed themselves), extra charges for certain situations, a deductible, and information about an inventory list I was supposed to have prepared. Obviously, I needed to know this information in advance so I could have prepared better. 2) The packing instructions were unclear and contradictory. I contacted the office about how to pack and asked if there was anything the company wouldn't move. Gana told me duffel bags, boxes, and plastic bags (with strong handles) would be no problem. When the movers showed up, they repacked some of my stuff without asking and then tried to charge me for the packing materials (they did ultimately give them to me for free). 3) The owner of the company, and one of the movers, Angelo, was very rude. When I brought up the poor communication above, he acted annoyed that I had questions about the contract and insisted that everything had been in the confirmation email and that we'd discussed it on the phone (we did talk on the phone, but we only talked about scheduling). He asked me why I even needed to know the terms and contract details in advance, which was particularly unreasonable because his version of the terms included one that said the customer was supposed to review the paperwork in advance. Here are some additional examples of rudeness: -----When I said I had delicate furniture, Angelo responded by saying I only had two pieces, implying that it was an unreasonable point. ***He said I hadn't purchased additional insurance (I was never given an opportunity to do this and it wasn't mentioned in any email or paperwork), so I couldn't complain about any of the things the company wasn't responsible for. -----He tried to pressure me into accompanying him to the weighing station. 4) The quote was significantly off--the move cost twice as much as estimated.

I almost never bother to write reviews, but as I told Angelo, I just had to write one for Cloverdale because the experience was so fantastic. I was planning a fairly last-minute move from Vancouver to Calgary last month, so I ended up contacting a very long list of movers to find anyone that could still move me on time. I wasn't sure about going with what seemed like a small company, but I decided to go with Cloverdale because they had a great base price and rate, the best reviews, the fastest response time after contacting them, and the most genuinely friendly approach during our interactions. I've hired a couple different movers before, but only within the city, and I was a bit nervous about the longer distance move, particularly since I wouldn't be getting my things for about a week and a half (completely thanks to my last-minute timing). But that was quickly relieved because they were just so frank throughout the process - about all costs and how they are calculated, with before and after truck weights (including pictures of the scale, with time and date), how they pack their truck (even showing me the inside of their truck just before leaving), and what would happen to my things during the delay between pickup and delivery. Later on as they were unloading, they also pointed out items that may have been damaged, although they were mistaken on most of them, because the damages brought to my attention had been done by previous movers (the only things I had to touch up in the end were the back panels of a dresser and a shelving unit, and only to nail them back down). I've moved about 18 times in my life so far, and had totally expected more things to be damaged, given that there is usually a little bit in every move. They were very reasonable, respectful, and accomodating with scheduling at both ends (as far as they could), and were incredibly professional and patient - even went the extra mile in getting my enormous, heavy couch into my new place despite the tiny, old elevator. I completely expected to have to call someone to dispose of it, but they got it up by the stairs instead and that really amazed me. I really doubt other movers would have tried that hard, and have had to dispose of 2 couches in the past because of similar circumstances. They were wonderfully efficient with loading, unloading, and protecting what I had neglected to properly get ready for the move (e.g., taking table legs off â€" while explaining to me what they were doing and why), and used their moving blankets effectively to protect my furniture and my floors. Couldn't be happier about selecting them for my move.
There was a HUGE discrepancy in the weight and cost of my move from Kelowna to Nanaimo at 19,246 pounds costing $12,263
There was a HUGE discrepancy in the weight and cost of my move from Kelowna to Nanaimo at 19,246 pounds costing $12,263.86 After reviewing all replies I selected Cloverdale Moving VanLines based on their glowing reviews and their lowest quote based on 2-bedroom condo 3800 lbs: price is $1850.00. I knew that price was too low for my furniture as I have some large pieces, antiques and furniture made from wood. I felt that my furniture would be more like 6000 lbs and asked for a quote on this weight and also up to 8,000 lbs. just in case it was heavier than I thought. However, the quote I received from Cloverdale Moving VanLines was significantly lower than expected. I based the weight of this move as lower than when I moved from Vancouver to Kelowna from a large 4 bedroom home into a 4 bedroom home in Kelowna, which included bicycles, tires, garden tools and equipment, patio furniture and furnishings for 4 bedrooms, living room, dining room and family room and office which came in at 11,440 lbs. This raised concerns about the accuracy of the quote provided by Cloverdale Moving VanLines. About 5:30 pm on moving day, I received a call from Angelo stating that my goods are weighing in at 19,246 lbs and a cost of $12,263.86! UNBELIEVABLE and THAT HE WILL HAVE TO DELIVER THEM ON FEB 03 not THE AGREED DATE OF FEB 06. UNBELIEVABLE a move costing $12,263.86 and now he is changing the delivery date? Upon delivery of my goods on Feb 06 he will not unload until paid and I cannot pay him $12,263.86 as I had budgeted $6500.00 for the move. I was extremely disappointed with the service provided by Angelo R. and Cloverdale Moving VanLines. In addition to all of the above: ANGELO R. left 2 carpets behind in Kelowna â€" I had to make arrangements for them to be brought to Nanaimo ANGELO R. left my Queen size *** Hideabed in my garage in Nanaimo after a feeble attempt to put it where it belonged, he said it would not fit in there. This lack of attention to detail and disregard for my belongings was unacceptable. ANGELO R. DID NOT put the boxes into the marked rooms where they should have been placed. He just unloaded boxes off his truck and put them anywhere convenient to him, which required me to have to move them to the rooms they belonged in. ANGELO R. did not itemize or inventory the boxes, I had to do that myself. ANGELO R. Made no attempt to look at my home and its contents prior to the move, which I should have been aware that this is a red flag and people should not book a move based on a quote as loosely as the quotes described on his website. I wish I had known this advice beforehand. I have been severely disappointed by this horrible incident and feel that Angelo R. and Cloverdale VanLines should be made accountable for their price gouging and make good this overcharged move, the additional expenses of getting the 2 carpets to Nanaimo and the expense of hiring someone to get the hideabed in place that ANGELO R. was unable to do.
Cloverdale Moving Vanlines Complaints 1
On January 28 I received a quote from Gana from Cloverdale Moving Vanlines to move my items from Lethbridge, AB
On January 28 I received a quote from Gana from Cloverdale Moving Vanlines to move my items from Lethbridge, AB to Vancouver, BC. I had received quotes from multiple companies, and ended up selecting Cloverdale based on their ComplaintsBoard.com accreditation and quote. My quote was for 4200 lbs. As I was collecting quotes at the time, I had completed my own estimate based on my items, and I was expecting a value between 4000-4500lbs. I booked my move and paid the $400 deposit. On February 27 Cloverdale arrived in Lethbridge to pick up my items. All my items were loaded onto the truck with no tagging and no inventory list, and no pre-weight had been conducted - I was told there was nowhere for Angelo to weigh his truck in the area. I was told my goods would be weighed upon the trucks return to Vancouver in a few days, prior to my March 4th delivery. Angelo explained his process of weighing the truck empty with photos and then weighing the truck with my items and taking photos. On March 3, I did not hear from Angelo until 4:20 PM. He sent me photos of the weigh process that occurred at 6:12 AM and 2:12 PM that day. 6:12 AM: Photo 1a: Front exterior of truck in the dark Photo 2a: Side exterior of truck in the dark Photo 3a: Scale reading stating weight of 28263 lbs 2:12 PM: Photo 1b: Front exterior of truck in daylight Photo 2b: Receipt printout of scale stating 22332 lb Photo 3b: Side exterior of truck in daylight Photo 4b: Scale reading stating weight of 22332 lbs Photo 5b: Back open truck showing nothing inside except a couple boxes. Plywood visible at back in daylight Text from Angelo stating: “Weighed the truck" He accompanied these photos with a statement that the total weight of my items was 5931 lbs. I was very confused by the photos and the weight I received and asked to see the photos showing my stuff inside. He sent a zoomed in photo of 5b stating my stuff was behind the plywood. How could my stuff be behind the plywood if the photo was taken during the day, and according to the photos I was sent, the daylight photos were of an empty truck? I responded back discussing that I was not comfortable with the weight, and questioning the photos that Angelo provided. Following no response but an emailed invoice (The invoice tacked on a discount of $261.38 for no reason, as we had not asked for this), I followed up with an email showing the initial estimate that I had conducted that was similar to the quote that Gana provided. I asked Angelo if he thinks that the amount of boxes I have could weigh over 4000 lbs, as the weight of my furniture items weigh less than 2000 lbs. Angelo proceeded to call me back about this just after 7 in the morning on March 4 - our scheduled move-in time was 8 AM. Angelo told me on the phone that the truck was loaded with our stuff, and he would reweigh it if we wanted at my cost, and would not comment on the extremely high weight. He would not agree that it was my right as a client to have my items reweighed due to this huge discrepancy. He said I had signed the Terms and Conditions stating that I would pay for a reweigh, however the Terms and Conditions do not say this anywhere. I pushed again for a reweigh at his cost, and he wouldn't budge, despite the fact that I was asking for proof he didn't provide. THERE IS NO PROOF THAT MY ITEMS AND ONLY MY ITEMS WERE WEIGHED AT 6:12 AM. This should not have to be provided at my cost. He suggested to show me to show me that my items were on the truck. However, as the full weight was taken at 6am the previous morning, seeing the truck full of my items over 24 hours later did nothing to prove that he fairly weighed my items on March 3. At this point, I had already paid him $400, he was holding all my belongings, and he was giving me the ultimatum that he would deliver the items or else I have to pay for a reweigh. As I felt pressured at this point due to this power imbalance, I allowed the delivery to proceed. During the move, Angelo showed my partner examples of other clients who were quoted one weight, and their actual weight was much higher. He explained many people don't understand the weight of their items. This example really just made us uncomfortable. During the move, my partner continued to comment to Angelo on how he “did not believe we had underestimated our weight by this much" to the point that Angelo offered for my partner to take a look in the truck when empty to show that it was really all our stuff and no weights or anything Angelo himself could be doing. When that time came, Angelo told my partner he could not step into the truck due to insurance purposes but that he swears my partner could see everything from outside. This makes no sense. Why would he show my partner the truck but then not let him see everything? My partner felt that Angelo's employee was standing oddly in eyesight of a corner of the back of the truck where plywood was kept, obscuring my partners view of confirming that plywood were the only items there. Despite this, and once again viewing my items, I was still not comfortable with anything of the above events had happened, and was still in disbelief of the weight. My partner and I took it upon ourselves to inventory all our items, (something that Cloverdale should have done based on their terms and conditions) and weigh the boxes on our household scale. We weighed and recorded each box and rounded the weight up to the nearest 10 lbs, and for the furniture items that couldn't be weighed, I looked up the manufacturer's weight (and rounded the weight up to the nearest 10 lbs). From this exercise, we concluded that our items only weighed 3000 lbs. I then added a 20% contingency onto the weight we got, to ensure it was a very conservative estimate. This brought our ACTUAL weight of our items to 3600 lbs. I sent an email in the evening of March 4 reiterating to Angelo, that we had concerns with the way our stuff was weighed, and the information we had been provided. We had weighted it ourselves and calculated a weight of 3000 lbs - HALF THE WEIGHT OF HIS CALCULATED WEIGHT! I explained that this was a huge red-flag for me. I told him that not only do the photos not provide adequate proof, and I take the discrepancy and lack of transparency very seriously. I asked for a refund of the extra weight of 2931 lbs at $0.55 + $0.08 for a total refund of $1846.52. I explained to him that I put trust in his company as a mover, and I have done my homework for this process, thus my concerns with how I was being treated. At this point Angelo called me, and over the phone told me there was no way he was refunding me that amount. He said he had already given me a discount “for no reason" and he goes by the truck scale tickets. He even “weighed my items twice". I asked him why there was only one receipt in that case, and he said he didn't get one, but he “weighed it twice". I tried to explain that the issue is the whole process and lack of transparency. My item weight was not correct. Therefore, either his truck, the “empty" weight, or the scale process is untrustworthy. Angelo told me to call the Scale company, *** and ask them about their process. I then also mentioned that he did not provide me with hard-copy of the scale ticket receipts, and Angelo then told me that he didn't have to. Photos were enough, even though the receipts should be attached to my invoice. Angelo followed up with an email stating that I had two options: 1) As he had already applied a discount of $261.56 to “help us", he would discount (not a refund) an additional 631 lbs at $0.55, and not the $0.08. This was to bring my weight to the quoted weight of 4800 lbs. My quote was never 4800 lbs. I was quoted in an email, from Gana at 4200 lbs. 2) Collect my items and reweigh again at my cost if the weight comes out the same. He also included the Terms and Conditions that do not state the customer has to pay for a reweigh. Angelo's statement that he would come pick up all my items and reweigh the items only (he did not say he would reweigh the empty vehicle) with the condition that I would have to pay for his time and truck weights if the weight were to remain the same did not seem like a fair option to me, as this entire process has left me with no trust. I was not willing to hand over all my items that I own back to him, with the chance that something could happen where he tried to charge me more money and could withhold my items from me. As I had weighed my items, and provided a clear record of the process and my items, I believe that it is fair to accept the weight calculated by me in light of problems with the above process. We called ***, and was told the following: - - - -*** - - - - This left us feeling very unconfident in the weighing process that Angelo undertook. I responded to him explaining this. I stated that “We completed a full inventory and manual weighing of our items to validate the scale reading, and achieved a weight of 3000 lbs, this is what we expect to be used as our weight of our goods. I have included a link to all photos of the weight of every box we have, and the excel sheet showed back-up for the weight of all furniture pieces. As you expressed a concern over the accuracy of a home scale, I am prepared to add a contingency of 20%. This brings the total weight of our goods to 3600 lbs. At a cost of $0.63, we expect that the price of $1255 be refunded. (3600*0.63=$2268 - $3523.35-$2268=1255.35). We have documented our weighing process, and shown you the full inventory of our items. We believe this to be as accurate as any re-weighing." Or pick our items up and reweigh at a different scale or a warehouse scale at his time and cost. Finally, Angelo did not respond to this for three days. When he responded he said that he had given me a total discount of $251.00 + $500.00 and this was the best he could do. At this point, I have received the $261.56 from him, but nothing of the values he stated. I restated the options, and he all of a sudden told me to “find the scale you want your stuff to be weighed" and to contact the *** and talk to a “police officer". HE said he would bring the “same truck that picked up your items", meaning he did not intend to reweigh the empty truck to establish if that was even fairly obtained. At this point, I decided that I need to escalate this here to the ComplaintsBoard.com. I feel as if my concerns are not being acknowledged or addressed. In the process of moving, I have felt as if all the power is in the hands of the mover, and I expect a level of professionalism that I am not getting. I did my research and I even took the time and effort to check the mover's work to confirm the weight of my items. I do not have an answer as to what point the 3000 lbs discrepancy occurred, however, I am confident that the process was not handled fairly and that I received fraudulent information. I expect Cloverdale to refund me my $1255.35.

Thank you!
Michael/Angelo were truly saints moving us interprovincially! They were kind, personable and very professional. It made our move so much easier. Our thanks to you both!
Angelo and his entire team were extremely clear, professional, and friendly. A really wonderful group of humans who truly care about making your move stress-free!
