CNN Kaitlan collins

Viewing of Biden/Putin Summit - Take Heed CNN
CNN must address the stinging remarks that Ms. Kaitlan Collins is allowed to continue with when addressing President Biden. She should be considered an embarrassment to each and every journalist on CNN. She continues to direct sharp, unnecessary, rude remarks to Biden and she should be extinguished from the White House team. As a citizen and taxpayer the knowledge of Ms. Collins daily working on-site at the White House is a concern and I will continue to vent my views! I am not alone with these thoughts and suggest you figure out another avenue for her to go down.
Not certain if she is trying to move up in her world or possibly be cited for a position on FOX but you need to take control of this issue and deal with her attitude as it is painfully obvious to your watchers.
Move on and either give her a position unseen on your network or send her off the FOX where she will wither on the vine.
Do you job and monitor this type of behavior as our society cannot withstand any more obvious hate factors and this is totally Ms. Collins

Desired outcome: Kaitlan Collins removed from the White House Journalist Team

CNN Sexual predation promoted

The network hires, televises and promotes sexual predator Jeffrey Toobin and his predation of his co-workers. Furthermore, CNN allows him to excuse his behavior as an ‘accident' and ‘bad judgement' when clearly it is not an accident; and if it is ‘bad judgement' then he should no longer be on air for his expert judgement and opinion. Nor should he contribute to CNN news with his expert opinion if his judgement is so flawed. If CNN is concerned about its credibility and ratings it will support ifs programming with a staff of unchallenged intellectual and highly credible superstars. Jeffery Toobin, by his own on-air admission, is neither intelligent or credible.

Desired outcome: Remove Jeffery Toobin from CNN on-air and expert support.

CNN Self advertising

The constant self advertising is anoying enough but the recent merciless hammering in of Stanley Tucci's Searching for Italy is getting too much. The ad completely lacks authenticity, the moderator is an actor and acts like that, not like somebody who is "fascinated about his Italian origin". Apart from coming accross as what Italians call 'antipatico" and from, I am rather sure, having a grasp of the Italian language which stops with Ciao and Caffe Latte he looks completely out of place in the wonderful landscaspes the ad depicts. What a difference from Tony Bourdain.
Uli Schmidt

Desired outcome: reaction

CNN Closed captioning

I am Autistic. A big part of this disease is we fail to comprehend about 30% of what we hear. Myself, being a "News Junky", I have always been blessed with reading the Closed Captioning to understand what I miss. It is truly mandatory that I read the subtitles.

The human being you have who is typing is usually 3-4 sentences behind. They seem to get stuck on a spelling issue and get behind. When they get behind their only option is to delete information.

Use a machine. I know machines tend to "guess" more, but your audience is smart and we can adjust. It sure beats being 3 or 4 sentences behind and forced to delete info.

Desired outcome: Use a machine. I know machines tend to "guess" more, but your audience is smart and we can adjust. It sure beats being 3 or 4 sentences behind and forced to delete info.

CNN CNN International: Exhausting Repetitive filler pieces

Does this work?

I tried all the CNN complaints web site, emails and phone numbers, none of which work. I feel like I am making a comment to the Belarussian State News Service. Reallly, if the MAGA people knew how hard it is to contact CNN with a complaint, they would label you a propaganda piece.

That over with, my complaint is relatively mild: and in your own self interest.
It relates to your filler pieces between sections and the failure to update them. Particlualry annoying is the fellow Jason... a photo diver from False Bay SA as well as some Ghanan long string musician who playsmost annoying music with her son ( who actually is a better musician. These have been running since the start of the pandemic last year. Really? Surely you have the funds and the available content to update these on a regular basis. This is soft happy news. does not take a lot to do.

But the latest is your Stanley Tucci ("Italian Gourmand"(sic)) adverts nearly 1 month before the series. The incessently repetitive music and sounds and his incredibly banal comments ("Oh my God", "Wow", "I'm starving", "That's the best Sushi /martini I have ever had"). Hardly qualifying him as a culinary expert. It that as good as it gets. Really you can do better and revise your content on a more regular basis than (annually it seems).

I turn the channel after hearing these things any more. Especially Stanley who is so nasal, vacuous and annoying.

Time to up the game. You have the means and the content to do so!

Can you acknowledge receipt please. Or will this go into the black hole that seems to be the CNN comments/complaints bureau. Below the standard one would expect of a independent news organization.

Thank you

Desired outcome: Acknowledge receipt and that someone has read.

It would be nice if Van Jones did some syndicated writing but now that he's such a trade name no. So you will never find Veterans Today, RT, Alternet, The Last American Vagabond, Truthout or Wsws.org featuring his truly. They rather run a respectable waspy curmudgeon like...David Cay Johnston for increasing their SEO results! I mean if anyone defended Julian Assange it was Caitlin Johnstone, yes an Indy Aussie female reporter! So they won't include a woman let alone minority woman! I know because I share my articles with them and they ignore Asian American female journalist all the time aside from borrowing ideas. DCJ borrowed my ideals on China bullet trains to get a flashy article in Salon about why America can't afford them "anymore." Well that's both a lie and provocation. No harm done. Nothing personal. Just how the same old-same old operate in media today! Surkov-style spin and confusion abound in "pseudo establishment news" and dominated by fake "brave men." Men who hide in their cars and depend on delivery services!

CNN CNN - Chris Cuomo - treatment of guests

May 19, 2021
I like CNN. I watch it daily for its news content & for its interviews of relevant guests.
However, please tell CHRIS CUOMO to STOP INTERRUPTING, LOUDLY TALKING OVER and NOT LISTENING TO GUESTS ALL THE TIME. He also does it to Don Lemon. He did it again to Dr. Fauci today. You can see guests getting frustrated as each of their responses get cut off in the middle. And if you think I would rather hear Cuomo talk than Fauci, you are greatly mistaken. Thank you.

Desired outcome: Chris Cuomo - interruption of guests

CNN False report news / lack of objectivity / one-sided journalism

This is a complaint regarding the bias, lack of objectivity and one-sided journalism and false news reports CNN involves in regarding the Palestinian case. CNN is manipulating words in its news reports to convey a different reality. CNN called Israel's abuse and murder towards the Palestinians 'a clash' between the Israel's and Palestinians. This connotates equal powers, however, Palestinians are unarmed and Israeli forces are fully armed bombing, killing and forcing Palestinians out of their and their own home and neighbourhood. CNN also has posted a false news report on Palestinians' attacking and killing Israeli children only to take it down because CNN realized it was Israel who killed Palestinian children in Gaza. However, CNN did not apologize for false news or corrected the news and put up the corrected version, CNN simply removed it. I condemn your dishonesty. This bias is not acceptable.

Here is what CNN wrote
Israeli police have clashed with Palestinians in the neighbourhood, as well as other locations, for several weeks now, with Palestinians accusing Jewish nationalists of provocation and police of heavy-handed tactics. Nearly a thousand Palestinians were injured in East Jerusalem, and over 200 in the West Bank, between May 7 and May 10, according to the United Nations and the Palestinian Red Crescent.

Desired outcome: Stop manipulating words and using neutrally toned words to give a sense of power equivalence when there is clearly oppressors and oppressed.

CNN One-sided journalism by cnn reporter bordering on slander

This is about an long interview conducted by Becky Anderson on May 20, 2021 concerning the riots in Jerusalem.

CNN ceased to be a truly objective reporting channel a long time ago, but it did maintain at least a semblance of decency - until today.

I was truly shocked while viewing Becky Anderson's "reporting"/interview today (Jerusalem, 10 May, 2021). A self-respecting journalist, certainly someone representing one of the best known networks in the world, should have at least some professional integrity and check the information she/he is disseminating and interpreting.

We used to believe that checking the information is the first rule of reporting. Checking means contacting several sources on all sides of the story, cross-referencing them, getting reactions from all sides, and, in addition, putting the event in context. Yes, we live in the age of social media when everything has to be reported quickly. But quick reporting has never meant repeating of inaccurate and false "stories." CNN is not a Twitter account! And if you interview a person who is biased and slanderous (e.g. the editor of "Nation") and show consent with her attitudes, then you come through as sharing and promoting them.

Had Ms. Anderson done her journalistic duty, she should have known (or could very quickly have learned), and certainly should have reported - that the events in Jerusalem started about a week ago with the Arab youths sitting near the Nablus gate of the Old City of Jerusalem and attacking the religious Jews returning from their prayers. The attacks were recorded and spread widely on Tik-Tok, as were antisemitic attacks on Orthodox Jews on the light rail. As a response, rather unwisely (in hindsight), the police put up the barriers at the Nablus gate. This, in turn, lead to the escalation, despite the removal of the barriers shortly afterwards. All this was not spontaneous, but carefully orchestrated by Hamas leadership once they realized that the Palestinian Authority is cancelling the Palestinian elections, in which Hamas was projected to win a big victory. Would mentioning all this take a long time? Surely just a fraction of repetitious declamations.

What all this has to do with Jews and the Al Aqsa mosque? Practically nothing, except that Makhmud Abbas, the unelected President of the Palestinian Authority, has used the pretext of Israel preventing the Arabs in East Jerusalem from voting to cancel the election. Ms. Anderson, as a reporter from Middle East, should know that, first, Israel has not officially said that it prevents or will prevent the vote, and, second, that out of about 150, 000 East Jerusalem Palestinians who were supposed to vote in these cancelled elections, only about 5, 000 could have been prevented by Israel from doing so, had Israel decided to so. The rest would be voting in the Palestinian areas around Jerusalem anyway. Even the 5, 000, had they wanted to vote, could cross the barrier and vote there, or mail their ballots direct. Cancelling the elections was the only way Abbas had to climb down from the election "tree" onto which he was pushed by the prodding of well-wishing Europeans and his own fickle nature. Blaming the Jews is the name of the game, one of the oldest games in the world used repeatedly and continuously from the times of Ancient Rome. Abbas is in a bad enough company in this matter.

Instead of presenting the full picture CNN reporters such as Ms. Anderson choose to represent the life-threatening unprovoked violence by "God-fearing" "peace-loving" Palestinians sympathetically. Did she report that Jew in a car passing near the Lions' Gate were pelted with stones and almost pulled out of his car and lynched (see the video from one of the surveillance cameras: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wo6R_cqeAOc)? The driver lost control of the car because of the stones. Is throwing stones, fireworks and even Molotov cocktails on the Temple Mount an appropriate form of worship? Is preparing the fireworks inside the Al Aqsa mosque and accidentally setting fire to a tree there a proper way of defending the Al Aqsa mosque?

CNN journalists should not continue repeating, almost verbatim, parrot-like, the Palestinian lies.

This is racist behavior which should have no place in modern journalism!

CNN should be brave enough to face the challenge of presenting a balanced, properly confirmed report on the Palestinian Authority and the real reason why we still do not have peace between Israel and Palestinians.

A hint: who will gain and who will lose if a peace agreement is reached? Israel will gain, the people - both Palestinians and Jews - will gain. And who will lose? The Palestinian authority and Hamas (losing their kickbacks and usurped power), UNRWA and various international NGOs (losing their raison d'etre and their fat salaries). It is benefitting these interested parties that the "highly moral" countries and organizations support a racist corrupt Palestinian regime and bash Israel instead.

To prepare this report, one should choose someone who is still objective and who still has professionalism left in her/him.

Dr. Gregory Toker
Jerusalem, Israel

Desired outcome: an apology and a proper, balanced report on the situation

CNN Thank you for being so evil and helpful! Thank you for never researching the truth ever! Thank you for putting our freedoms and killing America!

Helpful! Thank you for never researching the truth ever! Thank you for putting our freedoms and killing Americans! That's how I feel about your station! You are all liars and murderers Am I supposed to start wearing a Jewish star on my lapel!?
Where is the right to have privacy in your healthcare?
Where are my freedoms?
I have an auto immune disease and I cannot take a vaccine or flu shot.
My neurologist who is the head of the MS department here in my state told me over and over to not get any chemicals put in my body and that it can contribute to more symptoms. I was even told to get out all my mercury fillings, and not to have anymore children because symptoms could progress after pregnancy.

Now because people want power and control and money, now we have to be stuck with a vaccine, with chemicals put in our bodies whether we like it or not! What happened to our freedoms, with a virus that has a 99.8% survival rate!?

*I will be sure to SUE whoever pushes that on me and my right not to have any more chemicals put in my body.

I'm glad you allow mothers to murder their children because they have the phrase my body my choice. I didn't know murdering another person was more legal than saying I don't want chemicals shot into my body that nobody knows what's going to happen, experiment, experiment experiment!

People here on earth will die of something, but to hide in our houses and completely lose our freedom is not living. Death is going to happen to all of us at sometime and we don't know how. And those that die of disease or a virus, car accident, falling down the steps, in the wrong place at the wrong time etc. etc. I guess God is calling them home.
Life is a gift and for you and any government to control it all the time is not freedom.
Yes people should be safe and when there's a virus they should be careful. But the start of this was to NOT overrun hospitals with patients and now after a year - schools are still closed, some businesses are closed or are gone, people have lost their lives from suicide, loneliness, and heartbreak because of the way our state was run during this horrible time.
We are not responsible for every single person in the world and make sure they're always OK. You have people that still drink and drive, you still have people that don't wear seatbelts, you have people that do stupid things and there are consequences but we can't have government control every action we make that's not what government was designed for.

Desired outcome: My body my choice I’m allowed to murder any child in my Womb but everyone get a vaccine even though we don’t know what’s in it and it’s experiment on the American public! But don’t tell the shot, oops, experiment is

CNN Chris Cuomo Rick Santorum Interview.

I and my wife, who is partially Native American were most upset at Chris Cuomo's guest Rick Santorum. Mr. Santorum's statement that before white European settlers came to America:
"But candidly, there isn't much Native American culture in American culture." was embarrassing, insulting, racist, ignorant, and extremely upsetting.
Chris Cuomo should apologize to his viewers for giving an opportunity for that man to say anything to the CNN audience. There is such a thing as bold cutting edge journalism. I get that, however there are lines of decency that seeking bold journalism should not blindly cross.
Haven't our young people been exposed to hearing ignorant white raciest nonsense spoken be an obviously ill informed spokesperson?

Desired outcome: Chris Cuomo should apologize to his viewers for giving an opportunity that man to say anything to the CNN audience.

CNN Political commentator

To whom it may concern,
Being a loyal fan of CNN I now feel compelled to complain for the first time in my life.
Rick Santorum.
The outrageous statements made by him at a public podium are so full of lies and disgusting ignorance that I'm actually enraged.
As an Irish person I can assuredly state that my ancestors did not emigrate to America for freedom of faith. The journey was made for economic reasons. How can you justify paying this ignorant man a fee? He only taints the professional and objective standards of the presenters and journalists that litter your excellent organisation.

Yours sincerely,
Damien Slattery.

Rick Santorum's comments regarding the settling/colonizing of this continent and his dismissal of NativeAmerican culture were offensive, ignorant, and let's face it, displayed fully his white supremacy ideals. I am not Native; my lineage is Gaelic and English, but I reside in N AZ near the reservations of Hopi and Diné peoples. Santorum's dismissal of these ancient peoples was uncalled for. If CNN is aiming for "middle of the road" and "balanced" reporting, it should immediately have indigenous people to speak and counter the lie that Santorum threw out there. Mark Charles would be an excellent choice.
Sincerely,
Deborah Witherspoon McFatter

CNN advertising this ad too many time about woman getting younger woman to forget her boyfriend

Sick of seeing this add too many times a day. Comes off like an older lesbian getting younger girl to stop loving her boy friend. Is this your way of helping young people in distress? And tired of the dyed redheaded lesbian saying "No one is perfect, there is no perfect parent" Seeing this once or twice a day but every 20-30 minutes is too much. Can you please limit your showing? Better yet, get rid of it all together. Thank you.

CNN Incorrect pronunciation

"Homage" has been part of the English language since before 1300, and it's correctly pronounced (in English) as HOM-idj or OM-idj. Whether or not the "h" is pronounced, the accent is on the first syllable. The French pronunciation "oh-MAHZH" is unnecessary. There are no occasions for which the French pronunciation is preferred unless one is speaking French. It sounds affected, and there are no grounds for claiming it has precedence over the English pronunciation.

Desired outcome: Please pass the word to all your "faces" and "voices". Thank you.

Chris Cuomo should be fired immediately for his comments that he made regarding white children. CNN Chris Cuomo Anchor

I am writing to request the immediate dismissal of Chris Cuomo following the statement relating to 'White kids being killed before reform happens'.
This is a direct incite to violence against 'white' children. I would feel just as strongly if he were talking of children of any ethnicity but in this instance he specifies white children. Whether hypothetical or not, in the current climate of riots and BLM organisations inciting death and destruction (which you are not covering might I add) Cuomo is well aware as is your team, that any kind if divisive rhetoric is enough to spark further violence. It is clear he is intentionally placing this theory out there to be acted on and is a disgrace as a human being to even voice those words let alone coming from somebody who is the epitome of what he would call 'white privilege'.
In this age of cancel culture, people have been 'cancelled' for much less than what he has said and done and I want him to be held accountable for his words and actions.
I will await your response.
A. Emet

Desired outcome: Dismissal
