Edit: broken dark mode on my SE after ios13. Update. It’s no longer broken. It’s a decent wallet and makes holding multiple cryptos easy. There are some security concerns and it lacks a dark mode but overall a great wallet. Just like any other wallet on a phone don’t put all your funds here. It is just for small spending and transfers. 4 stars until they add some more top coins and a dark mode. Thanks

2020 No monero support for months.

Transferred $200 into this... it’s makes you buy Bitcoin to get started and charges you a transfer fee from USD-BTC. Well if you want to buy something else you then have to transfer from BTC- “say” DOGE and it charges you another transfer fee. So need less to say, by the time I got the crypto I wanted I was down to $150 because of transfer fees. RIDICULOUS! IM GETTING OUT ASAP. just need to make my money back +25% because I’m sure I’ll get another transfer fee.

I had multiple cryptocurrencies stored in my coinomi wallet on my Galaxy Note 8 & i downloaded the app on my iPhone 8 Plus when i switched over. I attempted to restore my wallet on the coinomi app with the recovery phrase & it did not restore any of my coins. I contacted coinomi on twitter in which they responded with instructions that i followed but still it did not recover my coins. My recovery phrase is accurate, i wrote it on paper & also printed out a picture. Be aware you can LOSE all of your coins.

Use coinomi only if you want a high chance of your accounts being looted

They got caught doing setup in the clear, refused to even acknowledge the problem, and deleted the bug report (ref: Luke Childs)

Now, they got caught sending your passphrase in the clear over the net to Google, and are similarly in denial mode (ref: Warith Al Maawali)

This appears to be a pattern of incompetence and unethical behavior. This is NOT something you want in a cryptocurrency wallet. Beware!

Moved my currency. Deleting coinomi

I’ve been using this wallet for a few months now, since the introduction of Litecoin Cash. I used the android app, and then opted into the IPhone beta test. I transferred all my coins over with my recovery phrase, and I’ve been using this wallet ever since. I HODL a few of the minor cryptos in this wallet, and have used shapeshift in conjunction with the wallet to convert some crypto into bitcoin. The wallet functions exactly as it is intended to, and I have not encountered any issues with it. Thank you for the great application!

I signed up for an account. Failed to write down my password. Had $600 transferred in. I can see the funds and the wallet, but when I went to spend some of that money, I forgot my password.

You can reset your password if you have a passphrase — but I didn’t know I needed to set up a passphrase. If you want to set up a passphrase, you need your password. Not cool.

Horrible design. App should make you set up a passphrase before you’re allowed to transfer IN money. So now my funds are gone, according to their “live chat support.”

I downloaded the app in my iPhone 7 plus and the app crashes right after I put my password. Did everything to fix it and just won’t work.
So I downloaded the app again but now in my iPhone 13 Pro and the same thing happens. The app crashes and closes itself right after putting my password.
This is disappointing and time taking.
I’ve been having this issue for more than a week. I have the latest version of iOS in both phones and it’s useless and the last updated version if Coinomi wallet.

What am I supposed to do if I already tried everything to fix it in both iPhones and nothing.

I’ve been charged multiple times for in app swaps that never occurred.

I’ve tried sending my coins to another wallet and it’s impossible - they never actually make it to the other side.

But you’ll still have to pay for “gas fees”. Which, on certain coins, will run ya $40 (for about $25 worth of crypto).

If you’re a true HODLER... this wallet is for you. Or, really...your wallet is for Coinomi.

You’ll get to see your coins...but you’ll never be able to spend them, send them, or remove them in any way.

It’s like putting your money in crypto jail. Or losing your coins in a bitter divorce. Because, once those coins get placed in the wallet... Coinomi takes full custody.

I rarely make App Store reviews, but since I like to read reviews before I decide to download and ultimately trust the app with holding my currency, I’ve decided to pay it forward.
I use Coinomi for converting easy-to-purchase cryptos(bitcoin, ethereum etc.) into Monero. The app has a built-in exchanger that I think is extremely convenient. They send the converted crypto straight to your in-app wallet.
You can also purchase crypto with your credit/debit card within the app but unfortunenly from experience not all cards work. You just have to try to see if your card allows the purchase or not.
The app’s interface always shows your crypto worth in USD so you’ll instantly be able to see if the value in USD went up or not.
Also shows your the current value of the crypto.
I would recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a easy to use hot wallet on iPhone.

I installed this app about 6 months ago and I‘m so regret, I have four different kind of crypto in Coinomi wallet (XRP, ETH,TRX, BNB) there is a spotlight under each currency which is indicate your network connection status, the green sign means you are connect and the red sign means you don’t connect to the network and your assets as well, I bought BTC and transferred to Coinomi wallet but when I checked my balance there is nothing, I checked from BTC.com and transaction was totally confirmed, I contacted to support immediately and they sent a flowing link that said if you had a red spotlight you don’t have connection and check your connection first I had no connection problem and the point is all other spot light on other crypto was green, just my BTC was red and still red, I contact them again and they said don’t worry your coin are safe! You need to solve your connection problem! I restarted my phone and app, I changed my network operator to three different operator, I connected with VPN but non of them is not worked, and they didn’t convince me if I have a connection problem so why the other crypto spotlight are green and work perfectly but my BTC is red and disconnect! They just closed my ticket. if you want lose your Coin with no any suitable support install it.

Coinome Ticket #1324132 Ethereum Issue

I am writing to report an issue with my Coinome account. I am a user of Coinome and have a wallet with private keys that contains Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Ethereum.

I sent more than 11 Ethereum to the address 0xd35d8dcCC167FA0A750F6D8000F04642EFcE9266. This balance appears in the Coinome app. However, when I try to send the Ethereum to another wallet, I receive an error.

I have tried to recover the wallet on another device, but only the Bitcoins and Litecoins have a balance. The Ethereum address does not appear.

I am desperate because I cannot access my Ethereum.

I have opened a ticket with Coinome support (ticket #1324132) on January 2, 2024. I have not received a response from Coinome support.

I would appreciate it if you could investigate this issue and help me resolve it.

Coinomi stole $200 worth of DigiByte from me.
I was trying to exchange my DigiByte to USTD from the wallet with Changelly but I never received any even tho the transaction has been made! Why?!

I really liked it until I try to convert my Litecoin into DigiByte then the app crashes AND it sends the coins to some address and I have no history on my exchanges tab. What is going on? Please someone help me.

Can not remove duplicate coin mistakenly added to wallet list. You would think the app would check if a coin is on the wallet list before adding a duplicate coin. Now there is no obvious way to remove the duplicate.

Had this a few years ago on a Samsung Galaxy and I liked it until my phone crashed and l lost my phrase, which was my fault. But I’m giving the app this rating because it keep crashing on my IPhone with my new account.

I am able to receive coins but when I tried to send coins I get a message stating: “no connection available”. Some reviews I have read say it may take 20 retries, but I’ve tried more then 30 times and am still unsuccessful.

I downloaded this wallet to use WalletConnect to use several different dapps. It wouldn’t work with any of them and also didn’t work with OpenSea.io which was incredibly frustrating as I had already minted an NFT. Do not recommend.

I was trying to change my password because the apps says password is incorrect, However, when I putted my back up phrase which I wrote down in 3 places to get my password changed, I received messages “generic error” what those this mean.

I have lost all my crypto with coinomi wallet never trust them they will rip you off and accuse you for it ! Search for avoid-coinomi to read the full story be aware they are not professional at all. Keep your funds away from coinomi wallet

DONT USE THIS APP UNLESS YOU LIKE WASTING MONEY THE app has probably 6 different ways it can charge you transfer fees, you will loose money on this app unless you make a double what you put in to it off rising prices and then they’ll take a huge chunk of that too

All my coins were hacked in this wallet and the support did not accept any responsibility. If your property is valuable to you, do not keep it in this wallet. All the documents and irresponsibility are in my emails and I can forward them to you. coinomi is insecure and irresponsible.

Had this app since its inception, lately it has been working extremely poorly and I can rarely get the BTC to sync with the server resulting in me being unable to move my funds. Customer service is useless as they refer to the same guide on how to fix the issue with absolutely no avail. Very dissatisfied…..

It kept crashing, kept bugging me to allow push notifications every 5 seconds, BNB send address didn’t have a memo section, which made me nervous. Tried to delete a coin, and then when I went to add it back, it added it, plus a #2 wallet address for the same coin? Idk? I’m probably just dumb, but I’m not a fan.

I really liked this app for a couple months now. Lately (over the last 3 months) it seems like the more coins I'd add to my wallet, the more the app became unresponsive when demanding my password. As of today (September 28) it seems to receive coins just fine but to try to do anything with them is more painful than pulling teeth.

Can’t seem to get through the setup phase without the app crashing and having to start over. Got the point where I added coins and app crashes every time after loading.
No possible way I’m going to put anything of value in this with it doing this. Fix it guys and we can go from there. I gave it 1 star only because what I did see of the layout I liked. But that’s about it.

Firstly I want to say that this app does allow you to export your currenct right when you grt it unlike coinbase which is something that I like. However, it is not cool when you put in 100 dollars but it takes 10-15 dollars off that amount. If I would have know that there was such a big cut I would never have deposited my money into this app. Be aware when you are putting money into this scam of an app

This company tried to charge me $13.00 on a $23.00 Send sale, I then changed the send to low priority to get a normal rate, But then they wanted $8.00 for a low priority Send of $23.00, so I had no choice, I paid their $8.00 for low priority, and now my money is tied up in limbo. Never again will use this company, for I just don’t understand why they rip off people with Extremely High send Fees so much like they do.
