Colonial Mortgage review: cannot get funds released from escrow for a property loss due to a flood

In March we discovered our home had broken sewer lines under the home. We filed our claim with our insurance company and thus began our nightmare with Colonial our mortgage holder. All checks were made payable to us and Colonial. We endorsed as required and sent it in. It is now November and we cannot get OUR money out of escrow. They are holding nearly 60k. We had to pay out of pocket for the repairs. Colonial has what we refer to as the Lie of the Day. Check is being drawn, check takes 3 days to mail you name it we've heard it. We have submitted paid invoices with releases and they still they track down the contractors to "make sure they got paid". I'd love to know what contractor will sign a release if they haven't been paid. We have been inspected. Said inspection report has never surfaced. I cannot warn folks enough to stay away... far far away. These people do not play fair. I'm concerned we will need a legal remedy to get our money. I wish this was a sick joke but it's our life.
