On 9/4/2022 I discovered a water leak that was coming from my master shower and running into my guest bathroom and pantry. On 9/20/2022 an insurance claim was opened. 9/21/22 Ecodry came to assess the damage and lay out a plan to have the water and mold removed. On 9/22/22 - 9/25/22 Ecodry removed all damaged walls, cabinets, toilet, shower walls, walls, down to the studs and clean as much mold off the studs as possible. 9/27/2022 RMJ and the field agent for my claim with Progressive took pictures and did an assessment of the damage. RMJ provided the details to Progress claims agent Jessica for the rebuild. Filed agent Jose also sent a report to Jessica with Progressive. From 9/30-22 to current (today 10/25/2022) the claims agent Jessica has still not provided me with any update on the claim and when the contractor RMJ can start the work. There is still mold on some of the studs, and they need to be removed. I have reached out to the Jessica every other day for over 3 weeks with no respond. I contacted my Progressive agent, they have called Jessica every other day to get an update. No reply from Jessica to them either. The director in the agents office has reached out to Jessica, still no reply. As of 10/21/22 I called Jessica's manager with Progressive and have left 2 voice messages. Still no update or reply by phone or email. My claim has been open for more than 5 weeks and Progressive has done nothing to move this forward or even provide an update. In the mean time I am working from home with the studs still having mold on them. Progressive claim agent Jessica has been rude when I have been able to get her to answer her phone. One conversation she asked me "what do you want me to do about it" This is a night mare, I have 2 bathrooms, both are ripped apart, with walls down and doors off, and progressive cannot give me any time line when they will approve the contractor to start the work. Progressive might be cheaper... but they don't have good customer service and really do not have the customers best interest. Don't Use Them for Insurance EVER! Today is 10/25/22 still not update.
