My return flight back to Europe from Halifax was on September 3rd, which was delayed by appx 3 hours. Because of this delay, we arrived in Frankfurt at a later time and we missed our connecting flight. Of course with air travel, this is quite normal. This situation has happened to us many times before.

My daughter and I immediately went to the Condor counter at the Frankfurt airport. The personnel was unpleasant and we felt like we bothered them. They gave us information that we were already rebooked and that we have to go to Lufthansa and check-in again. A Lufthansa officer spent a very long time trying to help us, as our rebooked flights were not rebooked by Condor, they were for standby (please see the attachment 2 tickets with no seats). Thereby, we spent almost 10 hours waiting for a flight, without having the confirmation that we will for sure be on the flight to Vienna.

Additionally, we needed to get confirmation about the delay because we knew that we would miss our train from Vienna Airport to the Czech Republic, as we had already bought our train tickets. Your officer told us that we bought the ticket with another company, which is not related to Condor, and therefore, could not give us any confirmation about the delay and did not agree to a compensation for the train ticket.

Not only were we treated with minimal respect from your personnel, we were only offered 20 euro vouchers that we later found out were only redeemable in a few locations but not everywhere at the airport.
