One more adventureous episode is here -

Today i received a call from a lady ( dont want to mention her name ). she had paid 300/- on april 24th i think and follow up in person n mail, she atlast received a mail from them with the company name and posting - when she called up that company they had said they had cancelled their contract a couple of years back n also mentioned them not to use their name.

Bad luck, she told about this to that Afshan and asked her money back, but they gave a paper - her redesigned CV n told no refund, she stood outside the office with her baby, security was called - when she explained he left, after some time police was also called as she was telling all the candidates passing - company lossing business - the police checked and said that they cant do anything as she received the CV, and moreover thats business.
A New meaning for business - esp in this part - my God - I couldn't beleive they said that - and said if she still wants to file a complaint she can, but should be ready to come to court WHENEVER they call!

I checked DUBAI FORUM - in that a case has been registered against this people loooooooooooooooooooong time back - Wonder what happened.

I appreciate her courage for going thro this - no hopes to teach these type of companies a lesson - what are we doing - just posting our feelings - thats it - We are all just mice group waiting for the right one to bell the cat

I anyway requested her to post her ordeal here and a copy to Gulf News ( namesake) and also to that companywhose name has been mentioned by these fraudesters. hope she does that.

Did i told you that i also went to police station to register a complaint but after listening the location of Core Elements is on sheikh zayed road, they straight away told me to go to court.
I also spoke to one of the police man whom i see daily below my house and told him the whole story. He adviced me the same thing which i already did earlier i.e. go to bur dubai police station and file a case.
I told him that i already tried doing this but cops told me to go to court, so he told me that he can come with me to core elements. But i still wonder how true is that as core elements are not scared from anybody. They are openly saying "GO AND CALL POLICE" I think we common people cannot do anything except writing our feelings on websites.
Is there any way that we can aware people not to go for interview in Core Elements?

sujatha Iam the same person who called you yesterday. Actually i was very disappointed bcoz the police (who were supposed to guard the laws and help the general public at these point of times) didnot support me at all. I was on my hope that at least if the police comes there would be something that would be decided against them once and for all but to my surprise nothing happened and we had to return back.I told the police that what they are doing is completly cheating and i have lost my money but at least do something for others who become prey of these frauds but they said no what they are doing is business. After all we are expats and no one is going to support us. I felt really sad thinking about it . I came to know from the security that around 75% who come to the building are the visitors of core element .

I think what we can do is make peopl aware about this through live radios, message boards etc...but believe me they would pay for it someday and it would be big enough that they would not have dreamt of... bcoz that would be curse of the poor people and God would never forgive them for that

This is what exactly happened with me

I had been called for an interview at core elements on 24th april and the details on the venue were sent through sms. They lure people giving promises on high salary. First they would ask your expectation and then they would say a higher amount. The venue was at sheikh zayed road, same building of Dubai islamic bank, 23rd floor. The lady who spoke said its for the post of admin assistant and basic would be 7500 and altogether 10000 plus . When i went there, the guy at the reception directed to a hall where lot of other candidates were seated. On inquiring, each of the candidate had a different post to tell for which they were called . The interesting part was that the hall and the cabins where the candidates were interviewed had a big distance . I had been given a appointment at 10.30 but had to wait 2 hours to get my turn.

There was this lady who interviewed me asking some basic questions . Then she said there is one vacancy with their client at fzne and an upfront one time fee of AED 300 had to be made if i want to proceed. I said i dont carry enough money with me and I would make the payment later but she said you would certainly be having a card and also she made a comment that time is moving fast and the vacancy might get filled up. To further convince me she said i have the details of the vacancy right now with me and i would give you the details once the payment is made. Actually she forced me to make the payment. Even I didn’t give a second thought as i was eager to grab the opportunity and hence made the payment.

After i had made the payment i asked her for the details of the vacancy. she said ok you do one thing you send me a mail and i would reply back with the details . But when i left from there i had a feeling all the way that i shouldnt have made the payment as every thing that happened back at core element seemed a bit fishy and i became suspicious. i went home and send a email to her and as expected she just sent a acknowledgement. I went to google and searched for complaints on core element. Then I realized that I have a made a big mistake and this was an act of cheating. I was very upset and send her a message saying that I want my money back as you guys really don’t have real jobs. She called me in the morning saying that their competitors have actually posted these messages and they have filed case against them .(What complaints would they file when they have lots of complaints against them from the general public). She said she really has the job and would send the details right away . She just have to amend my cv as per the clients requirement and send the details to the company. I said ok send me the details . I would check and if iam not convinced I want my money back. Later in the evening she send me mail giving the companies name and the post and nothing else. I checked with that particular company if any such vacancies exist . They told me that no such vacancies exists and further added that these people are frauds and they really don’t have any real jobs. That evening I send her a message asking her to refund my money but received no response . Also I tried her mobile No. but there was no response and I tried contacting her through various other no. but got only excuses from her co workers. At last she picked my call and said she would call me back as she is in a meeting but later there were no calls.

Now the important thing ..When you pay AED 300 they give you a receipt stating cv builder only and sign a contract with you which says only about the cv stuffs. When they talk with you they would say it as job placement and the additional service as cv building. After all this, she send me a cv just for name sake as they want to be safe saying that the amount that they have taken was for cv building and they have send it to us. Guess what ! after some days they would send you a message saying that the client has not shorlisted you . Obviously that’s the only thing that they can do b’coz the client himself is not aware of any such vacancy.

I have lost 300 dhms and I don’t want any one else to have similar situation. So I request everyone not to give money to any of the recruitment co. which i believe is against dubai labour laws. They really don’t have any real jobs with them. So Beware of these Frauds

sujatha called n informed me of what treatment you got i was really feeling yr pain n anger...it’s really sad...but sweetie...we all make mistakes and it happened...I would have said the same thing if I hadn’t got my money believe me as I had lost hope and also couldn’t sleep thinking of my stupidity but if it hadn’t been sujatha...I wouldn’t have done it... it was just a mere luck that we didn’t get our cv...infact I too had send her an email saying pls. don’t processed with my credit card and I’m not interested in "BUILDING CV", but no use...then i had gone and asked her very sweetly with a SMILE...but I can tell you one thing it’s not you only now there will be many ppl. with you in the same boat...because if they start refunding then how would they survive ...in the posh place and the salaries of all the So called Executive front officer or executive manager ...whatever they would like to call themselves...now don’t be dishearten...and think of it that your 300/-have gone but believe me each person at Core Elements will pay 3000 for their medical treatment...because this kind of cheating will not let them live a healthy life...

Call THE OWNER, ANAS AL HABBAL from a different number once or twice on [protected]/[protected].
If he is not responding don’t worry he will cal you back. When you speak to him be VERY POLIT & tell him the story what all they did with you & didn’t give you what they promised.
Most imp tell him U DIDN’T RECEIVE THE CV. Bcoz if they can cheat then we can also lie a bit.
The owner is usually travelling & he will not investigate he will just give you a time when to go & collect the money back. The owner is very nice & kind will surly help you to get back your money.

Sunil got his money back even I got my money after speaking to Mr. Anas Al Habbal

Just take print of some comments against them posted on this site(if possible)
This way u can show the innocent candidates that you have proof against them...
when they will make u sit in a hall, there u get this chance...one imp thing is that they core elements has stopped giving refund...so try to save money (as much as u can) of innocent jobseekers...

Even I lost my 150 AED.One Indian young Indian lady interviewed me and said for sure they will give me a job.Upto seven months I have never received a call from them from the date of payment.PLEASE DO NOT GET CAUGHT.

I HAVE BEEN TO CORE-ELEMENTS YESTERDAY AND THEY HAVE ASKED ME FOR 300 DHS. THEY SAID THAT IT'S NOT PAYMENT BUT IT WILL BE FOR THE CHARGE FOR CALLING THE EMPLOYER FOR ME AND MYSELF INDEED! ANDI WAS SO INNOCENT... I PAID 200 HS IN ADVANCE BEACAUSE I GOT ONLY 300 DHS. WITH ME! AND THEY SAID TO SEND THE 100 DHS THROUGH WESTERN UNION AS SOON AS I ARRIVE ABU DHABI... I 100% agree with you "Sunil1005". it looked weired to me from the beginnening, any company ask for interview, it would send you an email explaining the vacancy and so. but this company has no contact details, their number is busy throughout the day and what you said in your comments above happened with me exactly.

Thats why I felt its scam, but I went to check. I weared jeans and Tshirt because i didn't beleive in that company, anyway, There the receptionest knows nothing. The interviewer asked me for the CV and I told here that "you already have it and you told me thats i'm shortlisted so it's in your system", she tried to pick up the CV from different files becasue the system is down today "and everyday". she asked some stupid questions as a part of interview while she trying to get my Cv, I explained my overall experience in 30 Sec. she told me our client "Kanon" which is in hospitality looking for a person and this skills suatable for you. Kanon received 100, 000 CV, then it shortlisted to 1, 000 then it sent them to us and we make them only 5 CVs, you are one of them, so in order to get the job we will amend your CV according to the requirments by paying 300 AED and you will get the job, I told her then you will do the same with other candidates. Definitly she didn't answer my question. Thanks god I paid nothing for them, and this company is SCAM company.

GUYS JUST THINK, THERE IS NO CONTACTS AT ALL, NO TELEPHONES NO EMAILS, NOTHING TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THEM.

I hope people do their homework before attending an interview with any company. No one has too lose money only if they are well informed or at least have enough common sense to use GOOGLE. DUH..

Guys ...one more experience to share ...my carlift aunt's daughter was called from CE saying that they are calling from noor Islamic bank, HR dept and that there is a immediate vacancy.This girl went over there and all those usual things happened but the only difference this time was that they were speaking as though on behalf of the bank(b'coz its on the same building of noor islamic bank and the banks name z quite noticeable and people get a feeling of the same and they dont check on the net before comming). I had actually informed her mom about this fraud company long back and she indeed had discussed with her daughter .so when they asked for aed 300 she didnt give..thats the good thing that happened but seriously its really sad that no action has been taken till now after so much of complaints and they are doing this so called "bussiness" without any fear.

i was called too by this company...this is scam...i totally disagree with Ms Aria...infact i think she is one of the staff of this fraud company...so shes trying convince people over here...

Since more than a year am waiting for an interview call/e-mail...They called me 1 year back in March 2009 (when i was on visit visa) & compelled to pay AED 150 for some kind of membership. The lady told me without having membership you wont get a job through Core Elements.

I must say they have opened a [censor] business in the name of consultancy/Recruitment company just to make people fool & get money from them for no reason...

I really dont understand how & why UAE Govt. let such companies subsist here to do this kind a business & not taking necessary actions against them.

Hoping to stop this scam...

Can anyone tell me that there is some free lance recruiter who take advanced AED 1000 and distribute the CV in different companies. Once candidate hire he/she will then submit full one pay in three installment. Can anyone know then share with me

I also got a call from Core Elements yesterday and sched me for an interview today. But before I left from Sharjah where I am staying I open my laptop and search this company in Goggle. I stumble into this Core Elements Duabi Comments and read all your comments.
I guess i'm lucky enough to read all your complaints. I had to go back to sleep now and forget about my interview.

Today evening i received call from Coreelements, dubai Ms. Jen [protected]) and she asked me to come tomorrow at 11 for interview with Mr. Afshan Shaikh, and even i received text message about the location but thank god i have habit of checking the companies profile before i go for any interview and luckly i got all the information about this company. i feel very sad about the people those who have lost the money. Henceforth if anyone receving call from any company before procuding for interview i suggest please check the company information and i am sure it will be very useful and today because of this habbit i have come to know about the cheater.

Please wake up guys and dont waste your hard earn money...

I got my money back yesturday after arguaing for 40 minits, dont hesitate please go and get your money back. she afsan Sheikh told me that she will not give my money back as it is non refundable if required can lodge a complaint with police, i said no i will not i need my money back thats all, and later after arguaing she told me that she will complaint againest me. i said you can and also i informed that i will not move from this place till you pay me. later she asked me to wait for some time she called up some one and paid money back.

please goooooooooo and get your hard money, she is sitting there just to cheat all. and tell you all that bloody [censor]er receptionist he knopws every thing but he acts as he does't know any thing. please gooooo and collect, dont scare and unless they pay dont come out from the office.

Everything here mentioned is 100% true. Day before yesterday I received call from them for an interview. And I attend the interview yesterday. All formal things finished and after that they asked me AED.300 for modifying my CV. I dont know real fact of this company. But I said give me one day time. After I return back to room, I check about that company, Thanks a lot for all of them who were written their stories.

I have had a bitter experience with this really stupid company.. these guys are frauds... lost almost a day... Aria, I guess you work for them, if so, please stop conning people... they send you SMS or cal, but if you call back no one answers, staying without a job is difficult, and conning someone for that misfortune is even worse. this is not a good way of earning a living...

this ia really a fake company.i've got a call from a girl named jill and guess what this girl doesnt even know how to speak english welli can't help but laughingwhile she's speaking to me .and her accent is really a mess.i know about this company but i never bother to tell her.i dont want to waste my time talking to people like this.for the person whi hired this girl...if you want to trick people for a fake interview hire people who speaks professionally.such a shame!

My interview is scheduled to be taken place on 26th July with CE. As i luckily reside closer to them, i thought of attending the interview even after hearing from you all guys. This is the 1st interview call since i have visited Dubai from India. So it's better to attend and get warmed up for future interviews. Instead of paying them am gonna have a cup of tea from them and say thanks for their time practicing me and especially for the tea.

OMG! I am scheduled to have an interview with them later this morning! For whatever reason I decided to google them when I woke up and this complaints board is just a portion of the negative reviews I have found on them.. the filipina lady called me 2 days ago asking whether I could come in for an interview the next day- I remember thinking to myself this is seriously short notice and I was busy the next day anyway. So I requested her to reschedule for any other day during the week and ever so easily she rescheduled! So last night just as i was falling asleep I recieve a text from the same company Core Elements from a 4 digit number. I thought to myself well this is a premium service from Etisalat so they seem rather credible! what nonesense, Im writing to 7 days as well as every editor I have in my contacts list. This should not be allowed to continue! No one should have to pay the recruitment company anything to be interviewed. I ideally the company that is offering the job should be the ones paying the recruitment firm for their services! On top of that If you do pay Core Elements there is no guarantee that you will get the job! What scammers these people are! Thank God I smartly saved myself over 100 dhs i would have had to pay for taxis!
