I am following up on the dispute I filed previously. Optimum was not my choice of internet service provider; I have been with Verizon for my cell phone and internet services for the past 10 years. There is no validation of the services from Optimum, yet they claim I owe them for equipment they never retrieved. I refuse to pay for something that was never provided.
Furthermore, I discovered that the $10 per month ACP program for seniors like me was misleading. After the first month, there were unexpected service fees, and the credit card savings were inadequate, with additional savings of over $400. Please place this account in stop collection until there is validation of the debt, as there is no proof of it.
This matter is negatively impacting my credit score. Additionally, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has refunded my membership fees, for which I am very grateful, along with the assistance from Lexington Law Firm. This experience has shown me the value of legitimate businesses, unlike some services that perpetuate the narrative of savings but have hidden fees and charges that trap you in non-reversible contracts.
This is my first time addressing such issues, and I aim to become better at handling them before they escalate. Until I receive the following: a monthly billing statement, anything with my signature, the equipment, and the timeline of when this took place, I will not acknowledge any debt to Optimum. I have been with Verizon for over 10 years and have not switched providers.

Claimed loss: There is a misleading fact of what's to be paid because there was a fee for instillation, also the wasn't none of the benefit for seniors like me.
Desired outcome: My suggestions are to have service installer to come and get the equipment that they haven't returned to retrieve from my place of residence.
