Beware! This breeder gave us false negative information on other breeders. On further investigation we found her comments were not true. We ended up going with one of the other breeder's who gave us a darling puppy that is now over a year old and is very gorgeous and healthy. We found Dawson Cove Cavaliers kennel name, websites, and phone numbers had changed previously many times. Dawson Cove Cavaliers has operated under Paxton's Precious Cavaliers and possibly King River Cavaliers. She has also received many complaints under her previous names. In addition, she advertises on the AKC website.
This is a FALSE review. This person NEVER CONTACTED me nor had I ever given false negative information about other breeders. Whomever wrote this review is another breeder stalking me as I have not even advertised on AKC for several months as I didn't need to.
I do not have frequent litters and often refer to other breeders. I would be happy to provide the information for the breeders I've referred to. I am an AKC B.R.E.D. with Heart breeder and refer to other breeders of equal of higher merit. I educate prospective puppy buyers to ask for proof of OFA certifications on both the sire and dam by either text, email, or on the OFA website before sending anyone a deposit and I only refer to breeders who are fully transparent with their OFAs and have them either publicly displayed on their website or will voluntarily provide them through email or text. Any reputable breeder will say the exact same thing. If someone calls asking about a specific breeder, the first thing I (or any other reputable breeder) will them is to ask for copies of OFAs on both the sire and dam and verify that they are correct.
This review is entirely false. I have not changed my number multiple times. I had changed my phone number one time and had publicly announced that change on social media sites. Vikci Berg-Burns had fraudulently opened a Yelp account in my name and posted a fake phone number. She did so as I would not give her proof allowing her to deduct the Cavalier (which was a pet) as an expense for her business by falsely claiming the puppy was a "guard dog." I have responded to each of those false and defamatory reviews on Yelp and am happy to share the text transcripts showing every review is false to anyone who would like to see them. I had changed my website only once (after several years) and it was to create a more inclusive name as I had begun doing co-owns with other breeders. This, once again, was announced on all social media sites. The Kings River website is not mine and someone had falsely created a page using my name and previous phone number, which I was unable to close.
I have many references, including two Veterinarians who have puppies from me. I am fully transparent and am happy to provide references to anyone who like them, as well as share copies of OFAs as I am proud to have those and do them annually. I am also happy to provide referrals to other reputable breeders whom share the same philosophies as myself which is breeding to better the breed, and they would be happy to talk to anyone who has questions.
