Had a 4% price increase in July & quality went down hill. Have dirty illegal fingerprints on the cabinets & then they cleared over them.JUNK

LEGACY - DEBUT CABINETS
I am a contractor based in the Chicago land area. I have been doing business using Legacy- Debut Cabinets for some time. I would like to warn everyone of what I have found as an extremely steep decline in the quality ( or better put as a lack there of ) from this company.
I had two separate projects where there were numerous quality issues. One shipment came with blemishes, poorly constructed items, wrong items and even one in pieces with some of them market “ repaired “ ! ! !
Do to time constraints we had to make do. And received a modest credit ( $ 208.62 ) which was then passed on to the client with a reduction in their cost. Legacy – debut refused many requests to send me a check.
The other project was just about completely unusable ! All but 2 items had some or all of the following issues; bad blemishes, black marks ( they were white cabinets, finger prints in the painted finish, unaligned constructed cabinets, globs of glue on cabinets, delaminated plywood sides, dents, split wood, damaged interior shelving, and much more ! ! !
The company representative came out to inspect this disaster. After stating that Legacy doesn’t profess to be a quality manufacturer he offered a sizeable credit of $ 1400.00. He then assured me that I could call the office to receive a check. I again passed on the credit amount to the client by reducing her price. Knowing that all the extra labor to make the cabinets work and look good would drastically eat away any profit in the job. Again, legacy – Debut refused to send a check and after a year of attempts, they erased the credit from their books entirely !
They were trying to force me to buy more cabinets in order to use up the credit. Who in their right mind would want to buy cabinets from this company ! ! !
