Decofurn Amorosa have failed to deliver under their proposed & promised time frame as well as not been able to furnish the stock which was purchased on 05/11/2023. I have numerous records contacting Decofurn following up on my order and have been answered with empty promises. On 27/11/2023. I followed up on my order and was told that it was leaving CapeTown on a truck, and will be delivered on 01/12/2023. The morning of 04/12/2023, I again followed up and was told that it's still in Cape Town and the manager will request that it leave on one of the many truck which deliver during the week. The manger confirmed that the stock will be delivered on Saturday 2023/12/09. On 2023/12/07 Darren, the store manager, informed me that he will no longer be able to fulfil my order because Cape Town warehouse did not load and they confirmed they do not have the stock, as it will only dock 21/12/2023. Decofurn has waisted my time and scammed me in to believing that I would get the furniture I paid for on the 25th November 2023, however the furniture I have purchased is not even on the shores of South Africa. Decofurn failed to disclose particular information before concluding the transaction.

Decofurn is in violation of the Consumer Protection Act Section 19(2): Unless otherwise expressly provided or anticipated in an agreement, it is an implied condition of every transaction for the supply of goods or services that-

(a) the supplier is responsible to deliver the goods or perform the services-

(i) on the agreed date and at the agreed time, if any, or otherwise within a reasonable time after concluding the transaction or agreement;

(ii) at the agreed place of delivery or performance; and

(iii) at the cost of the supplier, in the case of delivery of goods.
