I ordered a pair of prescription glasses from this company
I ordered a pair of prescription glasses from this company. When I received the new glasses, I could not read with them on. My vision was blurry. My prescription has not changed since my last pair of glasses two years ago. However, when I called customer service to report this, they claimed they dont refund prescription lenses. I can understand their policy if a customer changes their mind about a pair of glasses. But, my lenses are defective and they will not give me a refund. They claim to have had them analyzed by their state of the art machinery and the lenses are correct. Thats all fine and great. However, I couldnt see out of them. When I was on hold for a supervisor today, I noticed the prerecorded message states, Customer satisfaction is our highest priority. I strongly disagree. I wish I had gone to the ComplaintsBoard.com website prior to ordering from this computer. They are stealing from their customers.

If it was possible to leave 0 stars then I would. I ordered *** frames. I ordered the exact pair I got from my eye Dr. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME. They look the same. Like they are the same color, shape, and style but they are not the material I ask for. It says they are steel. My old pair are steel and as soon as I took the new pair out of the box I could tell the difference in weight. They are CHEAPLY made. The nose pieces are even a cheap rubber you can get from a dollar tree store. They dont give refunds on prescription orders so I when to the eye Dr and he took the new lense and put them in my old frames. Even he could tell the new lense were different. I ordered the same type I already have but these from designer optics are horrible. DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE WANTING WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I paid only slightly less than what I would have at my eye dr *** Next time I will not be ordering from designer optics. BUYER BEWARE.

Here is the deal. This company charges your credit card when you place the order--not when the order is shipped. It then starts to send you emails apologizing that your order has not been filled yet and maybe some items are back-ordered. Every 2 days you get a similar email. I have yet to receive a notification that the items ordered have been shipped. Because Designer Optics has a 1-hour cancellation policy--which means you can cancel 1 hour after you place the order-- after that, you have to call them. If you call them during their regular business hours the recorded message says that they are closed so there is no way you can cancel. Catch 22! I'm done with Designer Optic's playing games with my money. I called my credit card company and opened a dispute. After explaining the situation the card company credited me for the full amount. Designer Optics will now have to deal with them. CAUTION. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

I ordered a pair of sunglasses as a birthday gift. I complied, placing my order within the 7 to 10 day delivery time that the seller specified. The product was not in stock and they had to go to the manufacturer which caused a delay in the shipping of the product.The product did arrive on the 15th day and was as specified. In addition, I spent $40 for a two year warranty only to find out that the manufacturer has a lifetime warranty on the sunglasses.

I've worn Flexon frames for a long time, back when they were domestically produced, not like today's outsourced versions. I ordered Flexon Rx glasses from 'Designer Optics' on 12/14. They botched the prescription I provided. They rushed the shipping (which took 3 weeks), and offered minimal customer support. Calls to their number often led to disconnection or endless ringing. Yet, a representative from their 'company' could call me without issue. The person running this small operation, regardless of their nationality, should face consequences for their actions. I've been ignored, deceived, and cheated. Additionally, someone falsely signed for my order on 1/5/2022, so I didn't receive it and am uncertain of its whereabouts or if it was sent at all.

I called them and after waiting on hold for 30 minutes, I was told, when a prescription is added to a pair of sunglasses, the lenses become clear. She stated that they could add it for $35. I paid the money to fix the problem. A couple days later I got another message from them. I called and waited again on hold for 30 minutes. The woman told me that I was told wrong, that they can't add the shade to the lenses, the lenses have to be made again. That is now going to cost me another $85, her supervisor allowed her to knock the price down to $65. I am now into this pair of sunglasses well over $300 and don't even know if I will like them. Beware when ordering from this company. I was completely deceived with this order. This company offers a great price to then tack on more costs after you have spent money. I have ordered many prescription glasses and sunglasses online and never had a problem. I will be going back to the other companies. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I have purchased from this company 4 times and have had good experiences except for one instance which I had to return my last pair of glasses because they were damaged but they handled the situation for me quickly and in the end I have nothing bad to report. I have bought 3 pairs of Versace glasses and two were a gift and the person was happy. I like ordering from here because they have really good prices compared to other companies. There was an instance were one of my order was out of stock and I wasn't aware and I had to email the company so in that case I think they should maybe communicate a little better with the customer. Also with my last order (Burberry glasses) the glasses were not straight so I had to return and get my money back so maybe they should double check their glasses prior to shipping to ensure the glasses are in optimal condition. In regards to returns they should provide a label so that the customer is not paying out of pocket for receiving a bad/damaged item because I had to pay to return my damaged glasses which I wasn't happy about. No company is perfect but I would order form them again because of their prices.

They charged me right there and there . A few days later I got a notification stating the glasses were in route with *** . It has been stuck there going on 3 weeks already . I emailed them , their first response was to wait 1-3 days . I waited then and I emailed them back . They responded by saying they were going to notify *** dah dah..and Asked about the package . Its all *** I asked to get my refund but they said they couldnt give it to me because it is already on transit . My glasses were damaged upon arrival
My glasses were damaged upon arrival. I mailed them back to Designer Optics on 3/22 as customer service said they would have to determine weather the damage is their fault or due to shipping. On 4/8 I received the following 3 emails all of which are from different members of customer service: "Hello Bobby, We are sorry for it." "Hello Bobby, As we can check your order has been received by us, and it has been sent to lab for analysing it, we will check if there is any difference in lenses as per your prescription if we may ind any difference we will rectify the same and will send it back to you. Thank you" "We did receive your return and had our optician analyze the lenses for you. As per our modern machinery, the lenses were done as the prescription stated. Thank you" All 3 emails came in within one minute of each other which made things a bit more confusing as to what is going on. The 3rd email says that the lenses have the correct prescription. This is annoying for several reasons. First, I didn't sent them back because of an incorrect prescription. I sent them back because they are damaged. Second, whoever is qualified to review prescription accuracy should be able to also see the damaged lenses. And lastly, I placed my initial order on February 25th and started the return process the day I received these glasses. So I have been without glasses for over two months at this point. At this point I'm trying to get a refund and purchase these same glasses locally but this has been a nightmare and I don't think they're going to refund anything so I'll likely have to wait until they find and repair the glasses I mailed to them 6 weeks ago. On 5/3 I asked for an update and they said the glasses would be mailed to me this week. It's 5/12 and they still haven't mailed the glasses. At this point it is looking like this will be a 3 month wait for a pair of glasses that I ordered and they won't allow me to return for my money back. Please don't do business with this company.

They asked me to wait because there were some delays due to COVID. I did and decided to call them on Monday August 3rd and they asked me to wait until Friday or Monday of the following week and if there was no change in the tracking still they would issue a refund. I called on Monday the 9th and after waiting for 2 hrs they answered and said they would issue a refund and send me a confirmation. I never received the confirmation so i called again the following day. The woman said that the lady in charge of that was not in yet but she would tell her to issue me a refund that day and send me a confirmation. Again days went by and i did not receive an email nor refund. I finally decided to open a case with *** on 08/12 and they immediately refunded me my money. Today 08/17 i receive an answer to my emails asking for the refund and email confirmation that i had sent weeks ago and their response was "Sorry for the delay in response, We are unable to process your request for Refund, As your product is already in Transit Your package will arrive later than expected, but is still on its way. We request you to kindly await for few days for the arrival of your package. if you do not have your package you should contact your local post office as soon as possible, provide them with the tracking number of your package, and they should have more information of the delivery due to they scan the package upon delivery. You should also ask around by your neighbors if your package has accidentally been delivered to them. As per the insurance policy, in order to proceed with your insurance claim we'll need a police report on the package not received. Please contact your local police department for a report and email the report to us. As soon as we have it we will proceed with a refund or reshipment. Please keep us updated, Thank you" DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I just wished i had looked them up and read these reviews before deciding to spend my money with them. We purchased the frames along with the Extend warranty because these frames are for a child and expected there to be a need for such in the future. A few months into wearing the frames the plastic that holds his lens literally popped causing the lens to fall out, I reached out to extend to execute the warranty and was asked strange questions such as did an electrical outage cause the damage they then wanted us to package up and send the frames before they would process the claim. I eventually got ahold of customer service with Extend and explained that these were glasses for a child that is nearly blind and they quickly sent the store credit so I could order the replacement frames immediately without sending the ones we have now taped together in. This is where it goes bad, I chose the exact frame to replace his and paid for expedited 2 day shipping. Three days go by and no updated shipping info, I call the number listed for Designer Optics and am answered with a message stating they wont be answering phones due to high call volume, next I send multiple emails asking for an update and a refund for my expedited shipping cost. The following email is sent Hello, ( )Thank you for choosing Designer Optics for your latest pair of designer frames!If youre getting this email, that means youve been waiting a few days for confirmation of your order, and shipping information. Your order is still processing, and well get it to you as soon as we can.Its also possible that your frames could be backordered. If this is the case, we will send you another email with the steps you can take to resolve this issue.Again, we apologize for the delay. We didnt forget about you and we promise were doing our best to get your new, beautiful frames in the mail ASAP!Please contact us with further questions, and thank you for choosing Designer Optics. We appreciate your business Sincerely Customer Support P: E: Support The second I read this email I click the number to call and to my surprise, the call is answered! The customer support agent I spoke with told me that the site is now updated with the correct information regarding the back order on the frames and apologizes and helps me order the same pair in a different color after offering me a refund and completely disregarding that this is a warranty claim and the fact my child NEEDS the new frames . I ask her to overnight the frames considering we are now on day four with no arrival date in sight. She agrees to overnight them and again apologizes. I received confirmation of order with a tracking number that says a label has been created and will be updated when they receive the item. It is now day five with no frames and no updated shipping. I once again call the number listed for Designer Optics and am answered with the same message stating they wont be answering due to high call volume. I am beyond frustrated. My child is wearing broken frames that we have taped together to hold his lens until the replacements come.

I have emailed the company several times and have received several answers, example- we haven't forgot about you but your order might be backordered you will receive an email with further instructions if they are. I never got an email stating that they were backordered but I emailed the company again just to check the backorder status. I was told on Monday 08//19 that the glasses would be shipping the next day, "We are really sorry for the delay in your order. We do see your order will be shipping by tomorrow. As soon as they ship you will receive an email with tracking information". Guess what, my order is still not filled and it has not been shipped. This company needs to get some kind of updated delivery system because the system they have, doesn't work. The ethics of this business are horrible. The bottom line is my 9 years old daughter needs her eye glasses TODAY.

I ordered 2 pair of Ray *** sunglasses from the website in November 30th. When they arrived it was clear that these were very poor quality fakes/counterfeit Ray *** sunglasses. I paid a considerable amount for these along with duties. I emailed their customer service department that I wish to return them as they are clearly counterfeit. I have been told I must pay the shipping and a restocking fee and may not get full price back. This is clearly a scheme and very poor business practice. Why are they still allowed to be selling counterfeit merchandise? I want to return the items at no cost to me and this company needs to be investigated and possible charges of counterfeiting.
Designer Optics said they delivered all the pairs of glasses frames that I ordered, but the package tracking number they keep referencing as proving delivery included only one set of frames in it. They use an identical tracking number for the 2nd set of frames, however, they were not in the package. They did deliver two other sets of frames I had ordered, but there is one frame I am still waiting on over 2 months later. I have repeatedly contacted them, asking them to send the frames that were not delivered or to refund my money, and they continue to say that the frames were delivered, and provide me with no other help. They have taken my money without providing the goods I paid for.

The lense was made too small to fit the frame and makes a rattling noise when touched because it is moving around. Company says lens sales are final, since they are custom, which I understand, but it can't be final if they were never made to be the right size to fit the frame in the first place. This error is on Designer Optics and I want them to fix their problem and issue me my money back. I have asked for a refund multiple times and they refuse to honor this, even though they did not properly make my glasses. I have now returned the product to the company, filed this *** review, a ComplaintsBoard.com review, a dispute with my credit card, and a complaint with the *** attorney general. How do you not refund a customer when you did not live up to your end of the bargain? How can a customer be charged for a faulty product? This business is fraudulent, cares nothing about customer service, or providing quality products.

I purchased a pair of sunglasses that did not work out. I immediately returned them. They received my return on 9/20 and I have been asking for my refund for the last 11 days. I live in a condo building where my front door and three others on my floor are all away from any roads. None of us have ever had any issues with items "left" at front door. On 10/22 I purchased a set of *** glasses. They showed completion of delivery on 10/27 to our mailbox. When I called and emailed Designer Optics to report I never received said glasses, they told me to check with the neighbors and to report a lost package to the police or call the post office. Our mailbox is a locked mailbox and there is no way package of glasses would fit in the mail slot. We know all our neighbors as they are friends and they would bring me a package if it was delivered to the wrong address. There is no way to steal mail from our mailbox as it is thick heavy duty steel with a lock feature for added security. Designer optics refuses to connect me with a manager they refuse to refund my money and they refuse to send me a new pair of glasses. They simply send the same standard auto reply each time I email and refuse to connect me with a manger when I call.

The lenses had some sort of indentation/hole, In the lens, it seemed to be trapped between the outside of the lens protection. As you can imagine I was very upset after waiting so long for these glasses. I immediately reached out to Designer Optics To explain the situation, and of course no response for about a week. Another week goes by and I still continue to reach out in hopes of getting this issue resolved. Another week later I finally get a hold of someone on this fake customer service line, After sending numerous emails, I finally speak to someone on the phone who then proceeds to tell me to send the glasses back and they will evaluate the lenses. No apologies, no "I'm sorry for our mistake", they made it seem like it was my fault and advised me that they would "evaluate" the glasses. I asked for a return shipping label to which I received two days later through email. I send the glasses back and to this day 02//20, have not received them back.

Regarding order# Order ***. I ordered glasses from this company with the highest quality of Progressive lens, including High Index. I received my glasses in the mail on 8/21. I opened the box and noticed the lenses are extremely thick and heavy. I compared them to my other glasses which are the same prescription and polycarbonate, and to my surprise the Designer Optic lenses are significantly thicker and much heavier. I e-mailed the company right away because these are not high index lenses. I sent them a picture. I've asked 2 optometrist offices if these glasses are high index, and they both said they aren't. I am asking for a complete refund of my purchase. I will send back the unworn/unused purchased glasses. I cannot exchange them for another pair as I'm in dire need of progressive lenses and I've already contacted my optometrist and placed a new order of progressive glasses. I need a refund back to the credit card I used immediately upon receipt of returned glasses.

When I received the glasses they were not even close to match the original lenses contacted them on their online chat and email address and when I complained they quit responding to me and finally responded when I commented on an Instagram post to warn people not to buy and said they would not fix the issue or refund the money.
I purchased a pair of glasses under order number ***. It took forever for the eyeglasses to come. When they came there was a significant scratch and defect in the eyeglass frame. I contacted them several times to no avail. They finally responded when I filed a BBBComplaint. They finally provided me with a return label. The glasses were returned. On 8/3 I received an email from them acknowledging they received my glasses back. I was told they would put the lenses in a new frame and ship them back to me. To date I have not received the glasses. At this point I am requesting a refund. I feel I have been more than patient waiting for them to respond and do the right thing.

I suppose the fault is on me for not having read the entire page, because later on it says "We will NOT accept returns on used items. Products must be unused, unworn, undamaged, clean and returned with all the accessories, certificate and case. All the returned items is visually inspected upon receipt for signs of wear prior to the issuance of any refunds, exchanges or credits. RX Prescription Orders cannot be returned, if you feel the prescription was done incorrectly please contact us"I hate the glasses, they're giant, I had no idea till I tried them on and now they can't be returned because RX, and because I made the mistake of trying them on.

i have purchased on 08//2020 a Designer Versace prescription glasses from this company and I paid $430.65 when finally received my glasses on the mail i was so excited on waiting them and i noticed a tiny damage on the temple of the glasses so I sent an email to the customer service department with Amanda and explained the issued and she told me to send the frame back for further review to DFO review *** and she said to include the order number and reason for the return which i did, so I send it back through *** certificate mail and I wait for 2 weeks and I sent an email to follow up however nobody was able to located my glasses, after providing them with my original order number and my information they respond back was asked over and over for the same information, i was getting frustrated with this nonsense, meanwhile i received back my glasses on a *** envelope so when opened noticed that they never fix the damage or replace it, they sent me back everything that was in the envelope, my letter with the explanation, photo of damaged frame and email from Amanda so I'm asking you from help, the warranty should cover for this damage. I ordered and paid $130.75 for a pair of prescription glasses from Designer Optics on January *,. I contacted the company by phone, email and chat on various dates to get updates on the order status. It is very difficult to get in touch with anyone over the phone and I have been given different answers by different representatives as to the status of my order. On Jan ,2020 I was told by a phone representative that my order was in the warehouse and ready to be shipped out. It would be shipped out on Jan , 2020 with expedited service. On Jan , 2020, my order was not shipped out. I contacted the company again and was told that they would send a message to the warehouse manager asking for it to be shipped out. On 1//20 I checked with the company again (spoke to Esty) and was told that the glasses had just gotten to the warehouse and she didn't know why they weren't shipped out but they would send a message to the warehouse manager and I would receive a shipping confirmation in 1 to 2 hours. I never received shipping confirmation and now I cannot get in touch with anyone over the phone. The online chat representative, Leah A, said that the glasses were in the lab and would be shipped out the following week. This is the complete opposite of what I have been told by phone representative.

I ordered a pair of Valentino eyeglasses online 3/16. Order # ***. Payment was taken immediately on 3/16. I received an e-mail asking me if I had received my order on 3/17? I received a text message on 3/27 telling me to order my eyeglasses. I e-mailed inquiring about my order and was told that whey were closed for Passover 3/26-4/5 by the Solanki Support Group by Vikas. I asked to cancel my order 3/27 and Vikas responded that my order was in process and I couldn't cancel. On 4/5 I received an e-mail that my order was in for inspection and that I would be upgraded to next day shipping due to the inconvenience. They also stated that they tried calling me and left a vm but I did not receive a call. I asked again where my eyeglasses were or a tracking number via e-mail and was given an apology and told they just finished working on my lenses and will shipped shortly. My concerns are the following: The order date is incorrect as 3/17 even though payment was taken 3/16. Closing for an extended period of time. A third party answering my e-mails. Zero accountability or tracking number. E-mails asking me if I received my order. I am tired of ambiguous answers and that my glasses are still in process, being inspected, or shipping shortly. I want to cancel my order and get a full refund.

I placed an order for my frames on Nov. ***, 2019 with 2 day shipping. I received an email the same day saying my order is being processed and will ship soon AND when it does, I will receive another email. Well, today is Nov. ***, 2019 and I have yet to receive the shipping details. Sooooo, I decided to call and spoke to someone lady that answered the phone after I pushed option 2 when calling . I gave her my order number to look it up. She then tells me that it hasn't been shipped because it's on back order. I was like, WHAT?!? Then she informed me that, oh, those glasses were discontinued. This is when I went off. I said, when was I going to be informed that they were discontinued? Why didn't I receive an email or a phone call? And if they were discontinued, WHY DID YOU TAKE MY MONEY FOR THE ORDER?!?!? Then she tells me that she apologizes, it seems that they're was an error with the system because it never sent me the "discontinued" email. By this time, I was LIVID! I asked her what kind of business are you running? I told her this is totally unacceptable and that I want my money back...NOW. She then proceeds to keep apologizing and cancelled my order and that I will receive my money back within 2 days. I told her I will be filing a complaint. This company should be closed down asap!

Their customer rep. lied to me and I'm suspicious they are scammers. On their website they have a storefront listed at *** in Brooklyn, NY. My delivery was late and I paid for 2nd day expedited shipping. After several phone call attempts I finally got cust. service. A rep. named "Esther" told me it was shipping from their store on Dekalb Ave the same day. I live on that DeKalb Ave about 6 blocks away and asked could I pick the glasses up since they didn't deliver it on time and I needed my glasses ASAP. They agreed and said I could stop by the store on Dekalb Ave and pick it up and they would call when it's ready. It was getting late so I repeatedly called during business hours to get an update and got no response. I then decided to stop by the location and it was an empty office space. I asked the store next door was there an optometrist next door and they said they never saw one. I called repeatedly and got no response. At that time I reported them to my credit card company. My credit card company then sent me a letter saying that Designer optics is disputing my claim and they delivered the glasses. I never received any items or received any notifications of delivery or attempts to deliver. I had to reply to my credit card company and dispute their claims. I have not gotten a refund and I'm awaiting a response from my credit card company. I never received any items and they are lying once again saying it was delivered.

They deal with alot of orders and have done this many years and assured me my glasses would be right. She was a very nice lady and assured me everything would be done correctly.Ordered eyeglasses from Designer Optical and the seg height was off, I could not see out of the glasses.My eyeglasses do not fit right and fall off my nose and I have blurred vision and can not see correctly. I only need glasses for reading and its not possible with the new Burberry glasses. Also their frames are coded differently than the store. Should of been GunMetal *** and after receiving the order they were silver and should of been smoke black. On May , I ordered a pair of Sunglasses from designer optics. The item was listed as "IN STOCK" and would ship in 2 business days. I was charged insurance at checkout bringing my total to $203.79. On June *,, I emailed their support email inquiring on shipping and was advised that the product is not in stock at their warehouse but it is available with the manufacturer and they've placed the order with them. Manufacturer ships within 2-3 business days but may be delayed due to Covid-19. On June *,2020 I received my package. When I opened the package I had a pretty velvet case -when I opened the case there were no Sunglasses in the case nor in the lil box they were shipped in. I emailed Designer optics immediately as when you call the number it states du to Covid-19 they are not accepting phone calls-explaining I received the package however the sunglasses were not included. I uploaded pictures of the box and all of its contents. I received an auto reply that I would get a reply in one business day. I have been emailing everyday since then and received no feedback. Finally on June ,2020, I emailed them again stating that if I don't hear back from them I would contact my credit card company. They replied within the hr saying they are having a warehouse investigation. Then I received another email 2 hours later stating that they did check warehouse camera and item shipped with the product. I replied how interesting-how you can you conduct a warehouse investigation if the product allegedly came from the manufacturer as per their email? I have requested a return label for the case since June *, as I wanted to return the pretty case they sent for a refund. They have totally ignored that request from day 1. Now I'm seeing all of the complaints on how they operate and am so annoyed at tis scam company. The address on the package does not match the address here on the ComplaintsBoard.com site. Just sketchy. I will contacting my credit card and filing a dispute.

Dear Sir/ Madam, I am writing this email to seek your help because Designer company has been very insensitive towards resolving issues and dont want to accept their mistakes. I placed an order for prescription eye glasses with frames from them on Nov 26, 2020 and made online payment of $241.59 USD: Order #***. I didnt get my product until 28th December even though they had stated that it will be reached to me within 1 - 2 weeks time. I had to send numerous emails to them but they didnt support nor reached out the logistics company to assist. I got surprised to see that they just sent frame and without installing the prescription eye lenses ordered. I had to work without glasses and my eyes got affected due to delay in getting the product as well as their negligence. When i contacted the company and asked them to send the new eye glasses then they refused and forced me to use my own courier fee to return the frame. they have been insensitive since day 1. I asked them to send me return shipping label but they denied. I then had no option left but to send the frames using *** and spent around 90 CAD. they did confirm that they will process the refund after i give them the invoice. I sent *** invoice but then they said until we receive the product, they wont process the refund. they made me helpless. i had no other option but to wait for my refund. Unfortunately, customs returned the frame back. I informed them about it and then asked to process my full refund including shipping charges so that i dont wait for another 2 more months to get the new glasses. I would rather purchase the glasses from Canada itself. I was informed that shipping cost will be refunded after they will consult with the manager. Till today i have been requesting but they clearly refused that they wont process the refund because they didnt get the frame. I request you to please let me know where am i at fault. Entire mistake was on part of the company and due to their negligence, i had to suffer both mentally, financially and physically. Please help in getting this matter resolve because i am entitled for full refund. Note: even when they processed refund they didnt return taxes that i had incurred on the purchase.
