I, apparently along with other unsuspecting people have been taken for a scam by direct buy auto. I paid $1900 for my warranty for my 2002 Mercedes. I have had no problems with my car and even took it in last week for Service A oil change. Three days later the one year old battery was dead and I had seepage coming from the left front of my car. I had it towed to the Mercedes dealership 50 miles from here. I always use this dealership for my car. The dealership found several things wrong and Direct Buy Auto Warranty claimed that all issues were pre-existing and not covered, even though the book states that the particular items are covered. I feel sick to my stomach. I want to be involved in any way possible taking this company to the cleaners. Luckily, I charged the $1900 on my charge card and I can do a complaint with them for unsatisfactory product or purchase and recoup some.
