Dis-Chem Pharmacies Appalling poor customer service with dishonest stuff and arrogant store manager

Good day Morning Ashley

I'm still waiting for response concerning my refund kindly assist; the incompetent store manager never showed interest or called me till today
As no feedback has been given after 4days of the incident with no communication or update maintained thank you.
Please respond and update as I have just call the store and spoke to store manager who is very arrogant and passive to deal and sort this matter.
I want my money now.

Kindly assist with the following order #627337 processed at 10:48am on the 9th of March 2020 Delivery not honoured as promised misled that by the online staff at Benmore Gardens Dis-chem. Poor communication as I had to follow up on progress of my delivery from my own effort having been given half day at work to knock off due to no feeling well, my time got wasted waiting for medicine that never show up and ended up leaving work @16:50 pm rather that 12:00pm, I almost died because of such irresponsible behaviour appalling service from Benmore Gardens Dischem online staff such poor service should not go unpunished who ever failed to perform their duties should be dealt with accordingly people are not fulfilling the work duties and bringing the company name into disrepute. I had to go to Clicks yesterday to buy medication again. Having paid Dis-chem Benmore for nothing just poor low standard service full of lairs. Today your driver should come deliver my money before 10:00am.
Thank you Onica for trying to help. I will be forwarding this email to the ombudsman including Hello peter and social media.

Dis-Chem Pharmacies Poor service from pharmacist

The service we received from the pharmacist in charge at the dispensery counter at Dis-Chem N1 city Goodwood is pathetic, ignorance .

I had a triple bypass surgery and my cardiologist prescribed my meds. but this lady chances meds that is approved by my medical aid without even asking or informing us of her decision making. When I ask her she told me I can go to another Pharmacy and get my medication somewhere else what an attitude towards patients and customers.

I did lay a complaint by the pharmacist in charge of Dis-chem N1 city and told him about the pharmacist and that it was not the first time she was doing this and when ask her about changing my tablets her attitude stinks...

So I will take my prescription somewhere else Clicks or Link Pharmacy.

To-date I was not informed of any action or apologies.

Dis-Chem Pharmacies Online order

I am very unhappy about the service I have received. On Thursday the wrong parcel was delivered to me and nobody has really done anything to keep me informed or assist me with the period of time it's taken.

Firstly, ignoring the problem as if will go away or everything will be just fine is unprofessional.

Secondly, trying to track my parcel not and then delivering it to me days later while in the hands of a person that doesn't care about the appropriate storage conditions is not appropriate. I am a pharmacist and will personally put a claim against the pharmacy if they do this with my childs milk.

Thirdly, nobody calls you back when they say they will. I have been waiting 4 days now for any update, where I also phoned 4 times without any success. And when I emailed the response was my parcel was delivered. Parthetic!

Once again, if I am brought a parcel that who knows where they left it in the sun, I will not receive it. I will lay a complaint with both Council and Consumer Protection act.

This is ridiculous that I have to fight to get normal service delivery. I will mot be using Online Orders again.

Dis-Chem Pharmacies The service and attitude

Firstly, i am very upset with the way the Knysna Branch Manager and floor manager handles people and also their attitude. They advertise wipes for R27.99 but when getting to the till they tell u no sorry the price is incorrect. This is mot my fault as a customer and thus should get the item for that price. The manager refused and said we should lay a complaint with the head office if we are unhappy but thats all. Also, the attitude of the floor manager was appalling. The way she speaks to you in a disrespectful manner, I was disgusted. It was also not the first time I received this bad service. I also work as a Manager in a retail store and if these things happen in my store we would have to accommodate the client because it isn't their fault. We are aware of the consumer act. Clearly your staff in the Knysna branch needs training on the consumer act and how to deal with people. Their service is disgusting and pathetic. I will not recommend this store to anyone and I will tell all our customers about the appalling attitude in your branch. I am very unhappy with the way I was dealt with.

Dis-Chem Pharmacies Incorrect medication dispensed

To whom it may concern

I am writing this message because of the incorrect pregnancy supplement that I had received from your pharmacy in the vital stage of my difficult high risk pregnancy

My pregnancy has been very difficult at age 45. Last week when I visited my gynaecologist I was put on bed rest and advised that the baby's growth had reduced from over 40% and had come right down to 16% plus my results for infection came back positive. I came to your pharmacy trusting your pharmacist to give me the right product of chela preg to assist in my volatile situation. She asked how many weeks pregnant I was. I had advised her that I was 35 weeks pregnant 3rd trimester and required chela preg and the prescribed antibiotics for the infection. I waited for quite a while and when she finally returned, she had put the chela preg in packaging sealed for the cashier.

I was very ill and could not even stand by the pharmacy counter. I took the packet and headed for the tills. I came home and started the course of chela preg not noticing that she had actually given me the wrong chela preg supplement. She had actually given me chela preg for 1st trimester and billed me for chela preg 2nd trimester as per dispensary label on the box, yet I required chela preg 3rd trimester as I had advised her that I was 35 weeks pregnant. When I opened the containers the tablets for both day and night looked the same, so I did not question or double check packaging. To my surprise two days ago I took a closer look and saw that the pharmacist had actually given me the incorrect trimester for chela preg and even billed me for the wrong trimester. She gave me chela preg 1, billed me for chela preg 2 and yet I was supposed to get chela preg 3.
I am absolutely irate especially in my volatile situation where chela preg 3 was required to assist with the vital stage of my babies development especially in my condition and which is not in chela preg 1 and 2 and even the dosage of chela preg 3 is different.

In the third trimester pack, which exceeds the recommended daily allowance prescribed by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration), WHO (World Health Organisation) and IOM (Institute of Medicine):

Maximal micro-nutrition for rapid growth during the 3rd trimester of pregnancy with 26 micronutrients, essential for an optimally healthy baby throughout life, including:

· Maximal amounts of calcium for strong bones, and DHA-omega 3 for brain growth, and for future health, immunity and intelligence.

· Extra Ferrochel®, a gentle non-constipating chelated iron, for the formation of extra red blood cells to carry more oxygen to meet the growing baby's high metabolic needs.

· More choline, a nutrient most important in the 3rd trimester for baby's health and to help prevent diseases later in life.

· Extra zinc, vitamin C and vitamin E to support rapid 3rd trimester cell division and tissue growth, and to reduce the risk of pregnancy complications.

My baby desperately required all the specific additional vitamins and vitamin quantities that is only in chela preg 3.

I am currently taking the assistance of a consumer lawyer and will also be going to the press and pharmacy board about this matter. As consumers we trust dischem pharmacy to not make mistakes as it could very well have a direct affect on life and death situations not been given the correct medication by your pharmacy. All trust is lost in your pharmacy and this matter will definitely be taken to the press as well for consumers protection and my attorney.

The thousands of unsuspecting elderly and uneducated consumers come into Dischem trusting your pharmacy and this also could have been one of them where incorrect medication was dispensed and could have even very well be the result of a life or death situation. This is unacceptable and Dischem has to take accountability. Errors like this cannot be accepted where persons life can even be at stake.

Attached is the relevant proof as well as my gynaecologist sick note a couple days earlier before I came into Discussion stating leave due to high risk pregnancy.

I will also be contacting the SAPC, The National Consumer Protection and HPCSA and taking the matter up further.

I expect your urgent response in this matter.

Products advertised but never in stock during advertised period, when asking the reply we waiting on stock never offered if they can find at another branch, raincheck or any solution ...missed out on several promotions due to this lack of intrest in the customer experience

Good day A gift received by my 7yr old for her Christmas wish, was frayed on the side, by the 3rd time of use. Imagine her disappointment! Please advise if it can be returned for repairs. A word of advice to the manufacturer, this is a product aimed at targeting kids, bag should've been reinforced, strengthening the quality of the product. Regards Lynette

James Block was my pharmacist on the 27st of Desember 2019. Each time I come here I have a problem with my medication and my medical aid on their sistem. This time he didn't know how my medical aid works and I almost had to pay all my medication. How can you let someone work in front that doesn't know what he's doing. Especially when he's working with medicine. Then he had an attitude as well?!?

Dis-Chem Pharmacies Service

I have bough a slimming product (Herbex fat burner tablets) yesterday at Clearwater Mall. Arriving home directly after my shopping at Dischem I found the product missing in my shopping back. Immediately I phoned the outlet and was informed that it was the first item scanned and placed in my shopping bag. Although my till slip indicates it was my 6th item scanned.

This morning again I phoned customer care and was informed that the store opens at 9 am, on which the branch was to be called and that I will received feedback. it is already 14H20 and no feedback or follow up was received.

Please close this case. I was phoned by the manager and he ensured me that the camera was viewed and my item was placed in my shopping bag. I went home and did a thoroughly check again and found it actually in my car.

I did phone the manager informing him and apologized for all the inconvenience.

Dis-Chem Pharmacies Gaby's mixed dried fruit

I bought 1kg mix dried fruit (Gaby's) on 26 October 2019 at Dischem Mall of the North.
The figs inside the pack were tasting funny and on my invesigation, I found that some of it were moldy inside. I tried to contact the supplier, but they never contacted me back. I am very upset, because one could get sick from that and the company is not even interested to answer my correspondence.

Dis-Chem Pharmacies Not making a new profile for my medical, insisting on keeping me under my father

I recently moved onto my own medical aid and off my parents. However, instead of making a new profile for me they refuse to and now every time i go collect a script there's always confusion because they can never find my medication. It's honestly a pain and never a easy process to just get medication. Last month I was informed that now all my medication is under my father, why would they put it there? Additionally, a pharmacist at greenstone refused to open a new profile for me, claiming that it's fine that I reflect under my dad but I think she simply was not capable of creating a new profile as most of the pharmacists are computer illiterate. Please, can i just get my own profile where my own medication reflects.

Dis-Chem Pharmacies Not answering calls at pharmacy. Not dispensing our chronic meds. Not calling us as arranged on monthly basis.

My name us Leon Koch. Cell [protected] from 136 Riebeek st, Goodwood.
I handed in myself and wife's cronic prescriptions repeatable for 6 months. They promised to call us on monthly basis. It's not happening and when I call them... no answer. We are pensioners and cannot tolerate this kubd of service. I will rather take our business somewhere else.

Dis-Chem Pharmacies Clinic sister

Monday - Clinic was closed, no notification that it will be closed after I applied for half day leave at work. The day was wasted.

Tuesday - I get there after work meaning that I rushed to be there on time, I got there around past 4. There was a long queue patiently waited in the queue. When it was my turn and I was the last one the patient came out and told me that the sister has closed, so unprofessional first of all she's not monitoring the queue and she doesn't come out to tell me herself. I went and I explained to her that I was there on Monday and the clinic was closed if I got notification I was going to move my day to Tuesday, she abruptly answered "why are you cause you might be here for nothing" really! I asked her how can I come when there's nothing to be here I mean the sister at Discem told me to come on the child's birthday when she turns 1. This woman was so rude I didn't believe it. She grabbed my card after checking it thoroughly she says ok but you have to wait for me to finish my job with such an attitude.

The sister was rude and when she was preparing very irritate, she tells me that it's going to cost me R250 I asked her for what still very irritated she explained to me that the medical aid doesn't cover. I asked her when did process start, she said last month. I asked why didn't Discem notify us, she just gave me my card back. What service is this, are we getting such service because we are black. If I go to the other race dominated malls we don't get such service. She didn't even the plan that I am on. I am really failing to understand why was this lady so rude. I didn't have the R250 had to go back after I rush to the clinic after work and wasting a half day cause Discem didn't have a sister on duty.

I am disappointed cause it means Dis-Chem doesn't want me as a customer as I will be getting to the clinic around that time due to their own unprofessionalism of not notifying customer's that the sister is not in.

I called Bankmed and they confirmed that they cover the vaccine so what is she talking about? I was informed that she can use the one's that the Bankmed covers.

So Dis-Chem do yuo want me as a client or not cause this is not the first time I'm getting such treatment from the very same mall.

Dis-Chem Pharmacies Beauty treats makeup brushes

I'm very disappointed in makeuo brushes I brought to use on my YouTube channel not even three months old and have already started to break. I have a choice to buy them from dischem not because they were cheap but because I knw u guys sell quality unfortunately not in this case. I was so excited I bought them from u guys I even posted on my Instagram. 👎👎👎👎Not happy at all
