After submitting a round, I can select Update Round and the individual holes are displayed. But the numbers at the bottom are not available to type over the score, putts, etc.

So although I have an Update around button, I can't actually update the round. Hopefully I can update on the web, or I'll need to delete and re-enter the entire round.

Easy scorekeeping for myself and guests, with ability to find nearby courses, keep historical stats and submit scores to DGCR's site. UX is great, no bugs. Would love more of the site's features—like disc organizer, forums and messaging—integrated in the future, but this is enough for the price. It's also a great way to support an awesome website.

This app is everything you could want from an on the go disc golf app. It has locations of courses, directions on how to find the courses, maps of the course you're playing (if there is one), and a scoring system that is easy to use, and very user friendly! It's easy on the battery, and smooth in all the transitions. You can easily pull up the course info, while having it keep score (meaning you can easily access maps, reviews, comments, and all the other available info). The memory usage is very minimal, and the product is superb! Best paid app I've ever purchased!

I was so surprised that the developers answered me within 10 mins. This app is worth it. I am going to tell everyone about this app. I love it. I have not found another app like it. This is a real person. Not some person being paid.

I was debating between 2 and 3 stars because the app itself is pretty great. It makes it very simple to set up, find a course, and keep score. Unfortunately after the round is finished the app crashes. I used to be able to go back and hit view stats to still see, but now every time I do that the app crashes. This app has so much potential, but the bugs need to be fixed for iPhones before I would recommend it.

Sure you can browse the website but this app makes the site much easier to use on the iPhone. I like how it instantly shows all courses near your present location. The score app is easy to use and is smoothly integrated into your online profile. This app will be very useful when traveling. Well worth the price for any DGCR user. Plus the designer is always working hard to improve the site and app so I considered the small fee a great investment.

I was so happy to see the DGCRiOS on the banner on the DGCR website. It is nice for finding courses but it would be awesome if it integrated features from the website such as lost discs and being able to view courses played and mark courses played.

I decided to go ahead and fork over the $3.99 for this app because I wanted the ability to see my player ranking at the end of each round. It was working fine until I changed the par on one hole on my home course (app is different than the posted par on the course). As soon as I did that I only get a N/A in the ranking. I finally figured out that the hole distance is automatically set blank which causes you to need to input the distance again.

I wish there was a way to recommend changes to the course inside the app. I also don't see a way to rate a course while in the app. It would be great to be able to update course conditions and rate the course in the summary page after a round is done!

I also have issues with the app crashing after I delete a round. The deleted round still shows up in the courses played, and if you click it the app crashes.

Lastly, if I update a round it takes me back to the scorecard summary page but I can only see half of the scorecard. I can email screenshots if necessary.

The iPhone DGCR app is pretty cool. I still do most of my planning at home on the website, but there are tools on the app that would be great if you want to do things on the fly. I really like how much easier it is to enter rounds into your scorebook. Cool that it shows player rating for each round you enter.

The app is great for finding courses and tracking rounds of play. I wish I could add players in my group who were not on DGCR. If that's possible, I'm missing something. Anyway, this app tracks rounds better than others do and is handy for keeping tabs on nearby courses when you travel. The process to sync rounds from the app into the DGCR site is a bit cumbersome. I would think it could be far more seamless. With some small additions to the app it could easily be 5 stars.

Love the app. Hate that it crashes trying to update an existing round. Also unsure why previous round ratings are now rated N/A all the sudden and don't count towards my overall rating...the crashing thing has been going on through multiple updates now.

Really slick, intuitive, and easy to use. From what I was using before to this is a giant upgrade. If your score keeping app doesn't locate courses near your location and automatically fill out par and distance info, if it doesn't keep overall and individual course stats for you, and if it's not involved with dgcoursereview, then you need this. Worth every penny.

I really like this app. One suggestion: In the stats section where you can see the scores of all your rounds, it would be nice to also include a +/- score along with the total score. For instance two rounds with the total score of 55 may be +1 on a course with par 54 but then a -2 on a course with a par of 57.

I love dgcoursereview.com and have paid loyally for a membership for 5+ years. The iPhone app was long awaited and has never been particularly feature-rich, but it was a reliable way to keep score while on the course and save your round details to your profile for future reference. Over the past 1+ year, the app has always crashed on me when I try to review my past rounds, which also prevents me from saving a round's details to my profile if it was an incomplete round, i.e. didn't play all 18 holes — which is fairly common for me. With the last app update being from 2 years ago, I am losing hope of the app serving as a helpful tool for me much longer…

I have so much data on DGCR's platform and am reluctant to try to transfer it elsewhere. I especially don't want to lose data about my played courses, states they are in, and my number of throws, putts, holes played, etc. I REALLY REALLY hope DGCR can look into the bug about viewing all of your old rounds so I can save my incomplete rounds to my profile from the app!

Another excellent job by Tim G. This app is DGCR streamlined to your phone and perfect for "course baggers" like myself. Find nearby courses no matter where you are, record rounds, etc. and simple to use! $5 that's it? Well worth it! Similar to Udisc but BETTER!

I love the site, but the app needs work - especially if it's $3.99.

Namely, it doesn't include the ability to see what courses I've played, or mark a course as played.

You can't search by city because the state line in the search box is grayed out.

I guess I expected a full function app when paying a premium price.

I would pay much more for a cleaned up version that wasn't so stodgy, and didn't act as a portal for the website so much.

This app is simply the DGCR mobile website with no extra features. I am also unable to log in with my DGCR account even though the credentials work on any other device/platform. Also, a lot of the information about local stores is out of date. I get that it is hard to keep up with courses, but stores are easy to track. This is especially disappointing since the app costs so much. Save yourself the money and go to the mobile website.

The scorecard is hard to swipe through, and score entry is cumbersome and not intuitive. If your friends want their profile info in your copy of the app, they have to enter THEIR password into YOUR app. Poor execution at a premium price - save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere - there are several better apps out there that have more features at a lower price.

Can't see stats for other players.

Can't edit the par on a hole, can only select tee type, not basket type, making it important to be able to edit par as needed.

Can't submit rounds to DGCR once round is logged.

Some stats cannot be rightfully corrected, such as 'distance covered'.

This is a cool app given the infancy of it, but for the price it falls short of expectations. Wouldn't have paid the money if I knew if these limitations. Would rather access the site for free. Hope to see new exclusive features in the future to make this worth the money.

I very rarely will review something unless I feel the need to warn others. The app crashes constantly, making it almost unusable. This would be worth 3 stars if it was FREE. It costs $4! For an app that costs money, IT SHOULD WORK! I use their website, which works great, so I took the plunge on the app to track my scorecard and figured I could upload it over to the website with ease. I figured, what's half the cost of a basic disc right? WRONG! BUYER BEWARE. I'm on the latest iOS update as of 05/21/17 and it can not run!

The only feature I was pursuing in downloading the app was the course tracker. I know how to keep score, I have the PDGA app for course locations, the only point of DGCR for me is tracking courses played and my wish list of courses to play.

In settings there is an option to Exclude Played Courses, but when you Search, it does not filter courses already played. You still see the same courses you've played dozens (if not hundreds) of times.

In fact, with the above mentioned inoperable feature, there is no method to track a course you've played, or find a course you want to play.

I will be deleting the app and returning to the website as soon as I'm done writing this review.

This app has great potential. Just a lot of bugs and things missing. Mainly from the player part of the app. When I add my friends to the player list they show up. But after a day of playing, the next time I played all the names were doubled and automatically placed on the scorecard. Going from two players to two of each player. It is also missing the ability to delete people from the player list, like all the duplicate names the app created for some reason.
