Eric Marsh of Mermaid Waterscapes was going to coat a waterfall and he gave me two people that loved him and the other reference I couldn't reach. That was good enough for me and I agreed to his terms. On the start date a person showed up at my house(not Eric Marsh). He said he worked for the "Durable Company" in broken english. I asked if Mr. Marsh the owner will arrive and he said that is not needed and that he is experienced. I was not suspicious at the time. I witnessed him cleaning the waterfall with a sandblasting machine and I clearly specified not to use sand but to clean up any mess. When sand and debris and algae ended up all over my yard I reminded this worker he would have to clean it up. He asked me for a broom as he was unprepared and had no cleanup tools. I should have stopped the job there and not paid him. After cleaning and promise to arrive the next day, I gave him his initial payment which was 20% less for cash. Bad mistake. The next day the same boy applied some yellowish liquid which I understood through his accent as polyurea. When he finished I noticed many areas inside the rocks and cracks not coated. The boy said when questioned 'they don't need to be'. When I argued and refused to pay the remainder of the money I called and spoke with Eric Marsh. He spoke with the boy and the boy said there was loose sand in the cracks and uncoated areas and that he would fix this. It appeared like he fixed it with extra coatings but the sand in those cracks should have been removed. I lost a lot of money on this job, I had no calls returned after this. To have it redone I must first undo this sloppy unprofessional job. That is my experience with Mermaid Waterscapes and Eric Marsh.

My name is Eric Marsh and I own Durable Coating Systems. I did not do the job that was described here and I'm a native English speaker. The complaint is so pathetic that it would almost be funny if I wasn't at the receiving end.

So why was the complaint posted?

Last October I was the victim of a scam artist. He took me for about $11, 000. I'm not the kind of guy who takes that sort of thing laying down and besides I don't want to see this happen to anyone else so I created a web site that describes my experience. It is at http://www.texliner.info.

Within the last few days reviews like this one have popped up all over the web for jobs that I have not done and for people who I've never heard of. The only explanation I can come up with is that this is retaliation for my web site. Check it out. I guess that the only good thing is that it's giving me more opportunities to get the word out about the guy who ripped me off.

I did some research and talked to Julius Lupowitz, whom you owe money to, then claimed lied to you and others. Julius Lupowitz alerted me of your devious nature and how you created several unverifiable complaints on the Better Business Bureau about dealer’s errors being his personal fault, repeatedly have tried to hurt him even though he did supply you with product and went out of his way to get you the right support with training. You Eric Marsh of Durable Coating Systems even went as far as to make a negative website attempting ruin his business altogether. I now verified enough facts & spoke with others who know what a rotten person you are. Anyone who would be so relentless is not suitable for me to do business with. I am glad I did all of this research after finding www.durablecoatingsystems.com then www.durablecoatingsystems.info because I was planning on getting a pond job from you for my niece and nephew's ranch. " Mr. Lupowitz had a Multiflex applicator who I trust with a verifiable reputation perform excellent work. Why are you also under Mermaid Waterscapes & Dragoncoat? There are several product suppliers that you really also ripped off then complained about.

Julius Lupowitz has been posting fraudulent reports about my company under a variety of names. The real question is, "Who is Julius Lupowitz?" The answer is easy to find - just do a Google search for "Julius Lupowitz" and see what comes up.

Marsh collects a low up front fee, applies a terrible coating, and the coating will peel off quickly.
Mr. Marsh, Durable Coating Systems of Mermaid: If you attempt to hurt me as I see you badmouthing othersl after what you already have done to my own innocent clients, I will add to the case of pool clients you've lost me and their clearly documented bills! This totals over $32, 000 now. You are an angry, viscious, sick, sick person.

ERIC MARSH OF DURABLE COATING SYSTEMS & MERMAID & HIS DRAGON JUNK RIPPED ME OFF FOR $2800 AS MY DEPOSIT, THEN FOR 6, 000 WHEN HE FINISHED. THE PAINT CAME OFF WITHIN A FEW DAYS! MY WIFE & I ARE SUING FOR $8, 800 + INTEREST + SAND BLASTING HIS JUNKY PAINT OFF & WE'LL TRY TO ADD SOME FORM OF SUFFERING SINCE IT WAS DISGUSTING WHILE WE FOUND A PROFESSIONAL TO DO THIS KOI POND CORRECTLY BY AN HONEST CONTRACTOR.
