Streamline your citation process with EasyBib
Hey there, fellow researchers and students! If you're on the hunt for a tool that simplifies the citation process, you might want to give EasyBib.com a whirl. Based on the chatter from users, this site seems to be a real game-changer for many. The consensus is that EasyBib offers a user-friendly platform that takes the headache out of creating bibliographies. Whether you're tackling APA, MLA, or Chicago style, it's got you covered. Users rave about the automatic bibliography maker, which is a lifesaver when you're knee-deep in research papers. However, it's not all sunshine and rainbows; some folks have mentioned occasional glitches with the citation formatting, but these seem to be few and far between. The free version is a hit for basic needs, but if you're looking for more advanced features, their subscription service might be worth the investment. All in all, EasyBib.com appears to be a reliable companion for anyone looking to ease the burden of citing sources. Just a tip: double-check those citations to ensure they're spot-on!
EasyBib Review: SleasyBib - A Disappointing Downgrade with Terrible Customer Support
EasyBib used to be a great tool for students and researchers to create citations and bibliographies. However, it seems that the company has taken a new approach and downgraded the website to the point where it is now nonfunctional. I have to say, it's quite disappointing. I even started calling it SleasyBib because of how bad it has become.
One of the biggest issues with EasyBib is the lack of customer support. There is no phone number to call, and the links to support services are not functional. It's frustrating because if I took money from people without providing a service, I would be in jail. It's not fair that the company can get away with it.
I tried to reach out to Chegg, the company that owns EasyBib, for help. I was able to find a phone number, but the customer service representative was not helpful at all. In fact, she said that she didn't use EasyBib, so she couldn't help me. When I asked if she could find someone who could help, she said that nobody there knew anything and that they were just customer service. It's ridiculous that a company can have such terrible customer service.
Overall, I would not recommend using EasyBib. It's a shame because it used to be such a great tool, but now it's just a waste of time. If you need to create citations and bibliographies, I suggest looking for an alternative website or tool. Don't waste your time with SleasyBib.
EasyBib Review: A Hot Mess of Ads and Popups, Avoid Like the Plague
I gotta say, EasyBib ain't the best thing since sliced bread. In fact, it's downright terrible. The user experience is so bad that it made me learn how to do MLA citations all by myself. And let me tell you, that was no easy feat.
I used to be a die-hard EasyBib fan for over a decade. But now, the site is a hot mess. There are at least four ads on the screen at any given time, and if you have an adblocker, forget about it. The site won't even work. It's like they're trying to force you to look at their ads or something.
I don't know what happened to EasyBib. Maybe it's because Chegg bought them out or something. But whatever the reason, the site has become atrocious. My poor little MacBook's GPU can't handle all the ads and popups. It slows to a crawl and overheats the moment I type "easybib.com" into the URL bar.
Honestly, the site is so bad that it's kind of funny. If you need to cite something, you're better off doing it manually. Trust me on this one.
In conclusion, avoid EasyBib like the plague. It's just not worth the headache.

EasyBib Review: Great for Most Citations, But Fails with Online Newspapers and Magazines
I'm a professor, and I gotta say, my students love using EasyBib. It's a pretty handy tool for most citation tasks, but there's one thing that it just can't seem to get right. Unfortunately, this is the one thing that my students use it for the most: citing articles from online newspapers or magazines.
If you choose the "Website" option and enter a URL, EasyBib will never give you a correct entry for an article in an online newspaper or magazine. It's a real bummer, let me tell you. And even if you're trying to cite another webpage, EasyBib will only give you a correct entry if the person who made the website coded it correctly. That means using the actual title of the work as the HTML title. And don't even get me started on the publication date.
Now, I know it's tempting to just plug in the web address and let EasyBib do the work for you. But trust me, it's just not gonna work. You're better off doing it by hand. It might take a little longer, but at least you'll know that your citation is correct.
Disappointing Updates: My Experience with Easybib After Chegg Takeover
I've been using Easybib for a long time now, and it's always been a great tool for me. I even decided to upgrade to the premium version to get rid of those pesky ads. However, things changed when Chegg took over Easybib back in 2016. I expected some changes to happen, but the recent updates have been a bit disappointing.
The biggest issue I've been facing is that the information doesn't populate correctly anymore. It's frustrating because I have to double-check everything to make sure it's accurate. Another problem is that even though I have set all my projects to APA format, it keeps reverting back to MLA with each citation. It's a hassle to keep changing it back every time.
To make matters worse, Easybib is barely functional in Chrome, Fox, or IE. I've tried using different browsers, but the same issues persist. I've reached out to the service team multiple times, but all they tell me is that everything is a "known issue." It's been a while, and I haven't seen much progress in resolving these problems.
I don't have the time or energy to keep chasing these issues, so I've decided to move on. I highly recommend that students who need professional citations look elsewhere. It's a shame because Easybib used to be such a great tool, but now it's just not worth the hassle.
Farewell EasyBib: A Review of the Once-Great Citation Tool's Downfall
EasyBib, oh how I used to love thee! You were my go-to for all my citation needs. Late at night, when I was in a bind, you were always there to save me from the horrors of manual citation. But alas, things have changed. You have moved on to bigger and better things, leaving me behind. I thought I was your one true love, your one true passion. But now, it seems you have found a new love interest: rampant advertisement.
As I sit here, waiting for my computer to churn out just one measly citation, I am bombarded with twenty gaudy ads. It's as if you don't care about me anymore. I feel like I'm just another user, lost in the sea of your new-found popularity. It's a sad day when I have to say goodbye to my once-stellar partner, my one and only EasyBib.
I know I'll have to fall back into the arms of manual citation, but it's a small price to pay to avoid the agony of dwelling on memories of our past late nights together. Farewell, EasyBib. You were once a shining star, but now you're just a mere shadow of your former self. I'll always remember the good times we had, but it's time for me to move on.
Disappointing Experience with Easybib: Glitches, Ads, and Outdated Design
Easybib used to be a really great tool for making bibliographies. It was so easy to use and it helped me learn how to do works cited. But now, it's really gone downhill. Every time I try to use the citation machine, it just stops working and makes me watch these really long ads. It's so frustrating! And there's no way to skip the ads, so I have to sit there and watch them for like five minutes. It's like they don't care about their users anymore, they just want to make money off of us.
And don't even get me started on the site itself. It's just terrible. It's so crammed and glitchy, and it looks like it was made in the 90s or something. I mean, come on, it's 2020! You'd think they could make a website that actually works and looks good. But no, they just don't seem to care.
Honestly, I'm about ready to boycott this site altogether. If they're just going to use it as a way to make money and not actually help students, then what's the point? I'll just find another way to make my bibliographies.
EasyBib Review: Once a Great Tool, Now a Frustrating Experience with Too Many Ads
EasyBib is a website that helps students create citations for their academic papers. It used to be a great tool, but now it's just plain awful. The amount of advertising on the site is ridiculous. You can only use it three times with adblocker enabled, after which the page is so filled with ads that you can't even use it properly. The ads are timed, so they move elements on the page while you're trying to use the interface, making it impossible to navigate without accidentally clicking an ad. This is not only annoying, but it's also dishonest because the ad clicks won't be genuine, but rather accidental.
It's hard to understand why EasyBib would do this. It's almost as if they want to drive their users away. Maybe they're trying to make more money from advertising, but it's not worth it if it means losing their user base. It's a shame because EasyBib used to be such a great resource for students. Now it's just a headache.
I wish there was a good alternative to EasyBib, but unfortunately, there isn't. It's frustrating to have to deal with all the ads, but it's still better than manually creating citations. Hopefully, EasyBib will realize their mistake and make some changes to improve the user experience. Until then, we'll just have to deal with the ads and hope for the best.
EasyBib Subscription Service: A Nightmare to Cancel
This website, EasyBib, is a real pain in the neck. I signed up for their subscription service and it was easy as pie. But when I tried to cancel it, oh boy, it was like pulling teeth. I spent a whole hour on the phone with two different people, because their chat and cancel links were busted. Can you believe it? And even after giving them all sorts of info, like the amount and date of the charges on my bank statement, they still couldn't find my account. What the heck? They said maybe I made a mistake or didn't know my own email address. But I was logged in to the account while talking to them, using the same email I gave them. So, what's the deal? I think they're just playing dumb so they can keep charging me. It's like they don't care about their customers at all. They just want to make it hard for us to cancel and keep taking our money. It's not right, I tell ya. They should be ashamed of themselves.
EasyBib: From Helpful to Greedy - A Review
This website used to be a good resource for creating citations and bibliographies for research projects, but now it's complete garbage. The greedy scumbags behind this website took note of the high amount of traffic from students, and took advantage of them all by placing as many advertisements as they possibly could on the website.
"Well, that's understandable, they're just trying to make some money. What's so bad about that? If you don't want the ads, use adblock!"
You see, that's where the biggest problem with the scummy greediness of the website comes in. The slimy rich $#*!s behind this website thought that the huge amount of ads on their website weren't enough, and added a script that detects if an adblocker is running on the webpage, and limits you to ONE CITATION until you turn the adblocker off.
That's the definition of greed and exploitation of resources. There is no way in hell that the owners of the website need the amount of money that they are getting from the mind-boggling number of advertisements on the website, and it's truly sickening.
The adblocker I use (uBlock Origin) detected and blocked 49 ADVERTISEMENTS on ONE REFRESH. 49. That wasn't even enough, as their partner, Grammarly, had taken up all of the advertisement spots and shoved their download link into my face multiple times on the one visit I gave it. It's truly infuriating that nobody cares about the greed that the domain's holders have, and the fact that they're most likely sitting in a mansion without a care in the world.
Don't use this website, it's the epitome of greed and scum. It's a real shame that a website that was once so helpful has turned into a cesspool of advertisements. It's hard enough for students to focus on their research projects without being bombarded with ads at every turn. It's like the website owners don't care about the user experience anymore, they just care about making as much money as possible.
I remember when I first started using EasyBib, it was so easy to use and it saved me so much time. Now, it's just a headache. The ads are so intrusive that it's hard to even find the citation form. And don't even get me started on the Grammarly ads. I don't need Grammarly, I just need to create a citation. But the website owners don't care about that, they just care about making more money.
It's really disappointing to see a website that was once so helpful turn into such a mess. I hope that the owners of EasyBib will realize that they're driving away their users with all of these ads and make some changes. But until then, I won't be using this website anymore. There are plenty of other citation generators out there that don't bombard you with ads.
Easybib.com Review: Great for MLA, but Beware of Hidden Fees and Poor Customer Service
I was doing this big research project, and I was like, "Yo, I need something to help me keep all these sources straight." So I found easybib.com and it was like a lifesaver. I could organize all my sources and even format them in MLA for free. But then, the night before it was due, my professor was like, "Nah, we want it in APA." So I was like, "No problem, easybib can convert it for me." But then I found out that APA formatting cost money. Luckily, they had a free trial for three days, so I signed up, converted my sources to APA, saved it to my computer, printed it out, and then cancelled the trial the next day.
But then, a few months later, I noticed that easybib had been taking money out of my account for three months! I was like, "What the heck? I cancelled that subscription!" So I went to paypal to cancel it again, but easybib was telling me that I never cancelled it in the first place. They wouldn't even give me a refund! I was so mad, like, "Come on, man! I'm just a broke college student trying to get by!" But they didn't care. They just kept telling me that I didn't cancel it, even though I had proof that I did.
I don't understand why they make us go through paypal to cancel the subscription. If they can cancel it on their end, why don't they just do it? And how are they even able to cancel it for me if it's up to paypal? It doesn't make any sense. And now, I'm still trying to get my money back, but they won't listen to me. They're just a bunch of greedy jerks who don't care about their customers. It's not fair that they can just take advantage of college students like this.

EasyBib Review: Beware of Ads and Sketchy Redirects
So, I was checking out EasyBib, and let me tell you, it's got a lot of ads. Like, a lot. I had to turn off my adblocker just to use it. And then, when I was trying to get a reference for an image, the site redirected me to some sketchy advertiser telling me I needed to update my Adobe. I mean, come on, who falls for that? I closed the tab right away, but it was too late. My antivirus (Webroot) started freaking out and told me my computer was infected. Ugh, what a nightmare. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend using EasyBib. It's just not worth the risk. Find another source for your references, trust me. This site is a total mess.
EasyBib Review: Excessive Advertising Makes It Unusable for Schools
EasyBib is a tool that I have been using for a while now as a school librarian. It has been my go-to tool for sharing with an entire school of students. However, I have noticed that it has gotten progressively worse with the advertising. It has become so bad that it is now completely unusable. I am very disappointed with the direction that EasyBib has taken.
As a school librarian, I would be happy to use some of my library budget for a school-wide pay version of Easybib without ads. However, for some odd reason, the company would rather make $9 from the few schmucks that are willing to pay for premium instead of bigger guaranteed bucks from schools. This is a dumb business plan for a company with an educational tool.
I wish that EasyBib would reconsider their approach and focus on providing a quality service to schools. As a librarian, I rely on tools like EasyBib to help my students with their research. It is frustrating to see a tool that was once so helpful become unusable due to excessive advertising.
Overall, I would not recommend EasyBib in its current state. It is a shame that a once-great tool has become so frustrating to use. I wish I could have given zero stars. :(
EasyBib Review: Frustrating Ads and High Fees for Non-MLA Formats
This website, EasyBib, used to be pretty good for creating reference pages for my papers in MLA format. But now, it's just one advertisement after another. It's really frustrating to have to sit through all of these ads just to do something that I could do in less than a minute on other websites. And to make matters worse, if you want to create a reference page in any other format besides MLA, you have to pay $10 a month. That's crazy! I mean, I'm just a college student trying to get by, and I can't afford to pay that kind of money just to create a reference page.
For example, I had a paper due tomorrow in APA format and I needed to create a reference page. But when I went to EasyBib, I was hit with the $10 fee. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to pay that kind of money when I can use other websites like Citation Machine for free and as many times as I want.
Overall, I would definitely recommend staying away from EasyBib. It's just not worth the hassle or the money. There are plenty of other websites out there that can do the same thing for free, without all of the ads and fees. So save yourself the trouble and find a better alternative.

EasyBib Review: A Hot Mess of Ads, Videos, and Limited Formats
I gotta say, I've been using EasyBib for a hot minute now, and it's been a real struggle. This website is straight up the worst thing I've ever encountered in my academic career. I mean, it's been years and it just keeps getting worse and worse. The ads are so thick on this site that it takes forever to load. I swear, I could make a sandwich in the time it takes for this site to load up. And don't even get me started on the videos. They make you watch these videos and interact with them just to use their service. Like, come on, man. I'm just trying to get my work done, not watch some boring video.
And let's talk about the formats. The only format available for free anymore is MLA. Like, what the heck, man? What about those of us who need to use Chicago or APA or some other format? It's like they don't even care about us. And if you want to use those other formats, you gotta pay up. And let me tell you, the subscription price is way too high for such a terrible service. Ten bucks a month? Are you kidding me? I could buy a whole pizza for that much.
Honestly, if you can find an alternative to EasyBib, do it. This site is a hot mess and it's not worth the headache.
Disappointing Experience with EasyBib: A Review of the Citation Tool
I've been using EasyBib for more than 8 years now, and it has been my go-to citation tool for all my grad school and teaching references. However, my experience with the platform has been quite disappointing lately.
Firstly, my account got cancelled for no apparent reason, and when I tried to sign up again, I faced several issues. For instance, citing a chapter instead of a whole book seems impossible as the page just leaves without saving any data. Moreover, the search function is limited to recent editions, which makes it challenging to find older references.
Another significant drawback is that there is no way to keep the citation format I want to use every time. It's frustrating to have to change the format every time I cite a new reference. The platform seems to advertise itself instead of working for you, even after you pay for the "plus" service.
Overall, my experience with EasyBib has been quite horrible, and I'm now looking for a more professional citation tool. If you have any recommendations, please let me know.
Complicated and Ad-Cluttered: A Review of Hardbib's Citation Service
This website is a pretty cool idea, and it could be super helpful. That's the only reason I didn't give it a 1. But why did I give it a 2? Well, it's just too dang complicated! It's hard to figure out how to use it, and there are so many ads all over the place that it's hard to even see what you're doing. Maybe they should call it "Hardbib" instead, because the formatting is just terrible. Every time you click on something, a whole bunch of new ads pop up and slow everything down. And if you don't have super-fast internet (which most people don't), then forget about it! I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone - in fact, I'd say just do your citations yourself, even if it's a pain in the butt.
EasyBib Review: From Breeze to Hot Mess - Ads, Videos, and Limited Access
EasyBib ain't what it used to be, let me tell ya. It used to be a real breeze to use, but now it's just a hot mess. The pages are chock full of ads, and don't even get me started on the videos. They say you get 48 hours of access, but it's more like 3. And even in those 3 hours, you're bombarded with ads left and right. It's enough to make your head spin!
And don't even get me started on the ads themselves. They're all the same! I mean, come on, can't they mix it up a little? It's like they're not even trying. It's like they don't care about the user experience at all.
I heard that Chegg bought EasyBib, and let me tell you, it's been all downhill from there. The citing itself is still the same, but the website as a whole has really taken a nosedive. It's a real shame, because EasyBib used to be such a great resource. But now? I wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole.
EasyBib Review: Too Many Ads Ruin User Experience
I gotta say, I ain't got no problem with ads being present on EasyBib. However, what really grinds my gears is when there are so many of them that they keep refreshing all the time. It makes using EasyBib a real pain in the neck, and it slows down everything else I'm trying to do on my computer. It's just plain irritating, especially when all I'm trying to do is get my sources cited for an essay.
Honestly, I wish I had looked into other sites to use much sooner. It would have saved me a lot of headaches. I don't think I'll continue to use EasyBib, and I would encourage others to look into different sites to use as well. I wouldn't want anyone to go through the sort of frustration that EasyBib has caused me.
I mean, don't get me wrong, EasyBib is a decent site. It's got all the features you need to cite your sources properly. But the ads are just too much. They're everywhere, and they never stop refreshing. It's like they're trying to drive you insane or something.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a site to cite your sources, EasyBib is an option. But be warned, the ads are a real pain in the butt. If you're like me and can't stand them, I'd suggest looking into other sites. There are plenty of other options out there that won't make you want to pull your hair out.
EasyBib Review: Frustrating Paywall and Unusable Site - Save Your Time and Sanity
EasyBib used to be a pretty good website, but now it's like everything is locked behind a pay wall that doesn't even work. I tried to upgrade because the only citations you can get for free now are MLA, but then the whole site became so frustratingly unusable. I can't even access my citation list anymore, and every time I click something on the site, I get bounced back to the page asking me to input my credit card information for the easybib plus free trial (which I already filled out). It's like they're trying to trick me into paying for something I don't even want. And don't even get me started on customer service. They're no help at all. It's like they don't even care about their users.
Honestly, I would recommend saving your time, money, and sanity by using any other citation generator site. There are so many better options out there. Heck, at this point, it would be easier to just create the citation manually than to deal with this garbage site. It's a shame, really, because EasyBib used to be such a useful tool. But now it's just a frustrating waste of time.
Disappointed with EasyBib's Performance: Glitches and Bugs Ruin Final Semester Project
I have been using EasyBib for quite some time now, and I have to say that I am not impressed with its performance lately. There have been numerous instances over the last few months where I had to start over on my citation lists. At first, it didn't bother me much, but today was the last straw. I left my laptop for just a minute, and when I came back to add another citation to my list, the site started glitching. It shut me out, and I had to log back in again. To my horror, my citation list - for my final semester project - was gone. This isn't the first time it has happened, but this time it really pissed me off. I had been working on my project for the last 10 hours, and the easiest thing for my project has become the hardest.
I used to love this site back in high school, which was just two years ago. However, now it's crap. I will no longer be using this site, as there are better ones out there. I am even considering deactivating my account altogether.
It's a shame that EasyBib has gone downhill like this. I used to recommend it to my friends and classmates, but now I wouldn't even bother. The glitches and bugs are just too much to handle. I hope the developers can fix these issues soon, or else they will lose even more users like me.
