Paypal sent me an email that AVANQUEST took money from my account - something I never knew about.
Since then I've had no joy to get a refund or even a code to use the software. not even a get last. It's imposible to get anything through the wall directly to them or Paypal.
I can't even utilse the software...

i have a problem with VCOM support. i have sent them emails after emails and the come back to me saying its undeliverable. and i have a bought version of powerdesk 9 pro, and i'm getting no help at all. thid needs to be resolved ASAP
i do not need to buy another one. i should noty have to.somebody needs to help me one way or the other, or i will have my lawer look into this case.
i have tried to uninstall and reinstall it and clean it out of my registry. nothing works. saving does not work like it suppose to.

I cannot figure out how to set up this software - I have to customize each time I create an invoice and type out each item over and over again. Is there are step by step on how to set this program up - I get so frustrated each time, I totally dread pulling this program up. I have used the help feature, but it is wordy and not too helpful. Help me set this up so I can begin using it properly.
Desired outcome: I would like to be able to pull up my customized invoice, pull down the client name, and type the items which repeat from time to time and have them total at the bottom of the page, all without stripes - plain white invoice - simplicity.

avanquest "onesafe software"
I made an online purchase of the Avanquest one safe anti virus software, I was sent three different actvation keys, through my e mail and asked to register to us the service. I could not register becuase none of the three activtion keys were acceptable to register. They were all rejected. I then called support service for assistance - 1 404 465 3518. The man at the other end asked me to type "123 rescue" at the upper left address bar, requested for some information which I sheepishly gave him, online I asked him why not give me the right activation code / code. He took control of my computer, and was manipulating me. At a stage I said this has to stop, he was not helping but was up to something else. I stopped him and demanded termination of the purchase and refund of my money. Actually, I realized I was being scammed. I went online to research the company but was totally disspointed by the numerous copmlaints against them. The next day I called 1 404 465 3518, to complain again and demand refund. After two days I lodged complaint with my Chase Bank, the personal manager looked into it and asked me to give Avanquest few more days, that sometimes it takes few days for refunds to appear in accounts.
Today, I have called both 1 404 465 3518 and 877 445 6618 to complain again but the lines were not through. One said the line was temporary out of service., the other led no where. I am highly disappointed. I will go back to my bank. Dr. Michael Odika / [protected].
fix-it customer support
Vcom sells a variety of application utility software. I purchased their Fix-It utility for Windows 10. the software will not execute. I contacted Vcom suppor several times to no avail as support did not offer any solution to why it ill not run after installed. I asked for a refund, no response was forthcoming. I have used their software previously and was pleased with it.. but never had to contact support services until now... and found it a non-sequitur... application will not run.. refund not granted. Buyer beware.

Purchased this via download. Worked ok to begin with. Come to use it today but Avanquest asks for the activation code again. Re-applied the code that I was provided but then Avanquest gives some blather that the single machine licence code has already been used on a different machine...no it hasn't. So, bought this software and can no longer use it...I wonder if I will ever buy from Avanquest again, hmmm, think not.

On the 8th July 2015 I purchased Avanquest Architect 3D 2015 (v17, 6)Ultimate -ENG cost $188.43 over the net and I asked for a back up with a CD to be sent to me.
Everything down loaded fine except it used over 2.5 gig of my 5 gig per month allowance which took almost 2 hours to download. I also received the CD backup copy.
My complaint is that just in the last few weeks my computer lost all my information off my hard drive.
I managed to get my Microsoft office and Publisher back with my CDs.
I put my above Avanquest cd in the computer and took almost 2 hours again to download and when I got the end of the download it ask for a serial number and the only number on the disc said UC31519130 and wouldn't except it.
I tried a few times putting the number in but still not except it.
I lost it all again, almost 2 hours of download time as I mentioned above.
I don't understand if I have a cd of the above why do I have to download it again over and over which is costing me money. Not happy, can someone help. I don't want to pay anymore, wasted about $50 in downloading already.

I bought a set of "professor Teaches xxx" from Avanquest a year ago and I did not activate it . Since I want to use it 3 months ago I must have written 2 dozen of emails to the company asking for help on how to retrieve or reissue the activation code and I was not able to get any response up till now

power desk pro 9 and win 10 compatibility
Called their tech support...Wanted to verify that Power Desk Pro 9 would run under Windows 10 before i upgraded.
Was told that there would be a patch to correct any problems, this was over a month ago. I keep calling back every week. I get the same answer that they are "testing"
The software. If there is a patch, power desk crashes before i can even check if there is a patch/update.

Most companies provide software fixes when a OS changes, but this company is charging $8.99. The software didn't even do that complete a job? Now that I upgraded my OS I have to pay for an upgrade of an inferior product?
I've been a Powerdesk user for decades - going all the way back to when the product was called Xtree. I've been disgusted by the milking strategy employed by Avanquest to extract money from existing users for a product they told me was "no longer in development". I still use PD v 9.0.2.3 but only to back my data up via Sync. I found a vastly superior file management product called Directory Opus. While their Sync feature works well, it's slower than Powerdesk's sync. But everything else Directory Opus does (Listers and file management) is simply head over heels better than Power Desk. I use both programs not to sync my files to my backup disks (just to make sure they do the same job) but for all file management tasks, I open D.O. One day, PD will cease working in Windows. When that happens, I'll mourn the loss of a great product but usher in a new era with Directory Opus.
i purchased the Windows 10 upgrade. I was using a older version of PD that still worked after PD9 stopped working for me.Found that with the new
upgrade that you still cannot drag and drop files into other programs.I found a more than decent free program that works great for all my needs.Still a little
angry that I had to pay for a upgrade that only got me back to a point that i was already at with my older version.There have been no updates since the
introduction of this upgrade.Check around you may find that there free programs that will fulfill your needs.If so please support the developers.From a longtime user of PD it seems like the program does not have a real home now.
I agree. The usefulness and reliabilty of PD since Mijenix moved on has been compromised with every new developer.
I don't know how or why this happens, but it seems that they are out of their depth in keeping pace with systems that are changing quite frequently. The problem is that no other developer has ever produced a file manager that approaches PD for it's functionality and simplicity. It's a shame really, the best has become a completely unreliable animal.
I totally agree - did PD start with Mijenix and then Vcom or Ontrack or vice-versus? I'm not impressed with Avanquest. Where are Central Point Software or Quarterdeck and all the others when we need them? :-)

I just received notice today, December 23 2015, that there is new PowerDesk Pro 9 for Windows 10. However, it will cost $8.99 for the update. Me, I'm using PD Pro 9.0.1.10. I'm underwhelmed with:

Anti virus doesn't work, don't buy any of their software they don't back up the problems, open 9-5 Mon. thru Fri. They don't care if the products work or not. Terrible customer service. Don't have the techs. to fix the problems. This is the worse software company I ever dealt with! scale 1 - 10, 10 being the worse, I rank this company a 11

this company put an unauthorized international check fee charge on my checking account. the amount was only .99 cents, but no where on my billing was a check fee ever mentioned. had i known this was an imported product, i never would have ordered it.
