Pticket.com Review: Easy Website Navigation, Poor Customer Service
So, I recently tried using Pticket.com to pay a parking ticket I received. At first, I was excited to find a website that could make the process easier for me. However, my experience with their customer service has been less than satisfactory.
I tried calling the contact number provided on their website during normal business hours, but no one answered. I have been holding for over 25 minutes now, and there is no estimated wait time or robot telling me anything. I am just sitting in complete silence for over half an hour now with the call time steadily increasing.
Aside from the lack of customer service, the website itself is pretty straightforward. It was easy to navigate and find the information I needed. However, I did notice a couple of spelling errors and grammar mistakes throughout the website, which made me question the professionalism of the company.
Overall, I would say that Pticket.com has potential to be a great resource for paying parking tickets online. However, they need to improve their customer service and pay closer attention to the details on their website.
Pticket.com Review: Beware of Excessive Late Fees and Website Glitches
So, I went on Pticket.com to pay for my ticket. But, guess what? A few weeks later, I got a letter saying that I still needed to pay for my ticket. And, to make matters worse, they hit me with a whopping $55.00 in late fees! Can you believe it? I mean, I paid for my ticket online a whole month ago and never received any notification that my transaction didn't go through. So, I checked with my bank and they said that the transaction never even occurred.
I tried to reason with the folks at Pticket.com, but they were having none of it. Even though I had proof that I logged on to pay my ticket that day, they still denied my request and insisted that I pay the new amount. I mean, come on! Those penalties are just way too excessive, don't you think? And, to top it all off, their website doesn't even work properly all the time.
So, let me give you a word of advice: Beware of Pticket.com! If you want to avoid getting hit with ridiculous late fees, just send your tickets in person or through the mail. Don't let what happened to me happen to you.
PTicket.com Review: Contesting a Parking Ticket Nightmare
So, I had a bit of a run-in with PTicket.com recently. I got a parking ticket in Newport Beach, even though I had paid for the meter through Parkmobile. I followed the instructions on the ticket to contest it, and sent in all the necessary materials to the address they provided. According to their FAQs, it would take at least 4 weeks to hear back from them.
After waiting patiently for 4 weeks, I decided to give them a call to see what was going on. It took me a whole week of trying to get through to an actual person, but when I finally did, I was told that they never received my contested information. And now, because 21 days have passed, I'm not even eligible to appeal the ticket anymore, thanks to DMV rules.
Honestly, it feels like a bit of a scam to me. I can't help but wonder how many other people have had their appeals thrown in the trash, just so PTicket.com can say they never received them. It's pretty frustrating, to say the least.
So, if you ever find yourself in a similar situation, my advice would be to contest your ticket online if possible. And if you do have to send in materials, make sure to send them Certified with Return Receipt. That way, you'll have proof that they received your information, and you won't have to worry about getting screwed over by PTicket.com.
Pticket.com Review: Unprofessional Payment Handling and Poor Customer Service
I gotta say, Pticket.com is just plain awful. I mean, I know they ain't the ones giving out the tickets, but dang, they can't even handle payments right. I tried to pay online and got some error message telling me to try again. So I called 'em up and paid over the phone. But guess what? Both payments went through! And when I called customer service to sort it out, they didn't have any of my confirmation numbers. Like, what the heck? And when I asked for proof of payment, they couldn't even provide that either. It's like they don't even care about being professional or helping their customers. And if you want your money back, good luck with that. You gotta send 'em a copy of your bank statement and a letter asking for a refund. Ain't no supervisor available to talk to either. It's just a mess. Don't bother with Pticket.com if you can help it.
Pticket.com Review: A Hassle-Free Way to Pay or Contest Your Parking Ticket
I gotta say, I wasn't too thrilled about having to pay a ticket, but I stumbled upon pticket.com and it made the whole process a lot less of a headache. I mean, who wants to deal with the hassle of standing in line at the city or county office? Not me, that's for sure.
The site is super easy to navigate. All you have to do is select your state and city or county, enter your citation number, and voila! All the information you need is right there in front of you. You can choose to pay your ticket, ask for an extension, or even contest it like I did.
I was able to write a letter explaining why I thought the parking ticket I received was unjust, and the city put my ticket on hold until they reviewed my documents. A few weeks later, I checked the site again and they had reduced my fine to a more manageable amount. I'm not saying that you'll always be able to beat a ticket by using this site, but it's definitely worth a shot.
The only downside is the $3 processing fee they charge. I mean, it's not the end of the world, but it's still a bit of a bummer. But hey, I'd rather pay that than spend money on gas driving to the courthouse.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with pticket.com. It's a great option for anyone who wants to avoid the headache of dealing with the clerks office downtown.
Unjust Treatment of Handicap Community by PTICKET: My Experience
I have been using handicap parking placards for the past 7 years and have never had any issues until recently. My placards were set to expire on June 30th, but for some unknown reason, the DMV sent my new placard to an address that doesn't even exist. As a result, I received a ticket from PTICKET in July. I immediately called the DMV to fix the address issue, but it took them another 3 weeks to schedule an appointment.
Unfortunately, PTICKET did not communicate with me until after the option to appeal the ticket had expired. They sent me a notice just before an additional $110 fine was added. When I called to explain the situation, the lady on the phone was not helpful at all. She kept repeating that I needed to pay the ticket, even though I had proof that I had the right to park there.
In the past, others have shown proof of their right to park in handicap spots, and their ticket was reduced from $365 to $25. However, PTICKET did not seem to care about the spirit of the law and only cared about collecting money. Even after explaining my situation, the lady on the phone did not seem to listen and just kept repeating herself.
In the end, I had to pay a total of $489 for a mistake that was not even my fault. It is disappointing to see a company like PTICKET target the handicap community in this way. To make matters worse, I recently received a letter stating that I will receive an additional fine and be sent to collections. It is frustrating to deal with a company that does not seem to care about its customers and only cares about making money.
