ECOS Paints Review: Safe, Durable, and Odorless Paint for Your Home and Pets
I gotta say, ECOS Paints is the real deal! I was super worried about painting my old parrot cage because I didn't want to use any toxic paint that could harm my feathered friend. But then I stumbled upon ECOS Paints and boy, am I glad I did!
First off, let me tell you about the rust situation. It was everywhere and I was freaking out. But after getting rid of it, I was left with a blank canvas (or cage, in this case) and I knew I had to make it look good. And that's where ECOS Paints came in. The cost was totally worth it, especially considering the peace of mind I got knowing that my parrot would be safe.
Now, I gotta admit, I was a little worried about painting indoors because of the winter weather. But let me tell you, there was no smell! And that's a big deal for me because I'm sensitive to that kind of thing. Plus, the paint is super durable and looks fantastic. I haven't had any issues with chipping and it dries pretty fast, which is a huge plus.
I only needed a quart of primer and two colors, and it went a long way even with several coats. And let me tell you, the end result was totally worth it. My parrot cage looks brand new and I couldn't be happier. I even attached a photo without the main doors on so you can see for yourself!
Oh, and let me not forget to mention the shipping. It was super fast and the paint was well insulated and protected from damage. I couldn't ask for more.
Overall, I highly recommend ECOS Paints to anyone who wants to make sure their home (or parrot cage) is as safe as possible. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
Disappointing Customer Service Experience with ECOS Paints: Great Product, Terrible Support
I recently made a purchase on ECOS Paints website for some wood stain. I was so excited to receive my order, but unfortunately, I made a mistake and ordered the wrong color. I was so upset and worried that I would have to live with the wrong color. So, I decided to contact their customer service to see if they could help me out.
I started a chat with one of their customer service reps, and he told me to email them instead since he didn't have access to the orders. I was a bit hesitant to wait for an email response since I was afraid it would be too late. I explained my situation to him, and he apologized and said there was nothing he could do. I was so disappointed and frustrated.
To make matters worse, I received an email two hours after contacting them stating that my order had already shipped out. I was so upset that they didn't even try to help me out. I have contacted their customer service a few times, and each time they were uninterested and unhelpful. It's a shame because their paint product is great, but their customer service is terrible.
I would advise anyone who wants to place an order with ECOS Paints to be extremely careful. They will make no effort to help you out if you make a mistake. It's a shame because their paint product is great, but their customer service is terrible.
ECOS Paints Review: Low-Odor, High-Quality, and Eco-Friendly Paint Solution
I recently stumbled upon ECOS Paints while searching for a solution to my smelly basement floor paint. My wife was not happy with the strong odor that lingered for weeks after I painted the concrete floor in our den. I was desperate for a high-quality, low-odor paint, and that's when I discovered ECOS Paints.
I must say, this product exceeded my expectations in every way. Firstly, the odor is virtually non-existent, even when you first apply it. My wife, who has a sensitive nose, didn't even realize that I had painted the floor. Secondly, although the paint is quite watery when you open the can, just stir it for a few minutes on and off, and it will start to thicken up. The consistency is perfect, not too watery, but just thick enough to make it easy to apply. Thirdly, it dries incredibly quickly. In less than an hour, it was dry to the touch.
I used the Exterior Porch and Floor Paint in the color Fall In Season, and it covered my 12x20 basement den floor with just two coats. The coverage was impressive, and the finish was flawless. I was also pleased to learn that ECOS Paints are eco-friendly and non-toxic, making it safe for my family and pets.
Overall, I highly recommend ECOS Paints to anyone looking for a high-quality, low-odor paint that is easy to apply and dries quickly. It's a great product that delivers on its promises, and I will definitely be using it again in the future.
Mixed Results with ECOS Paints: Low Odor and Quick Drying, but Thin and Pricey
We got our hands on some ECOS Paints from ecospaints.net and we gotta say, it was pretty decent. The delivery was on time, and they even threw in a heat pack to keep it from freezing. We did have a bit of a hiccup with the shipping, though. Seems like the label was printed wrong, which caused a delay. But hey, we got the color we wanted and it was pretty close to what we saw on the website.
The paint itself was low odor and dried pretty quickly. We were painting a bathroom next to a room where my daughter and her baby and bird were staying, so we wanted something that wouldn't be too harsh. And it worked out fine, no issues there.
But here's the thing, we paid $72 for a quart of paint and it barely covered our tiny bathroom. We had to put on multiple coats because the paint was so thin. And because it's a bathroom, there's moisture, right? Well, if the paint gets even a little bit wet, it runs. And after a few times of that, it leaves these track marks in the paint. Even on the wall with the most coats, there's still quite a bit of streaking. And as we got to the end of the paint, we had to cut back on coats, and it's painfully obvious which walls were affected.
Overall, we're not sure if we'll be going back to ECOS Paints. The price was just too steep for the amount of paint we got, and the quality wasn't quite up to par. Maybe we'll try somewhere else next time.
ECOS Paints Review: Safe, Effective, and Surprisingly Impressive!
I recently tried out ECOS Paints and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised! I started off with their cedar stain and was so impressed with the results that I decided to purchase their exterior paint to fix up an old truck body that had been used as a shed on a property in the woods. The previous paint used on it was a high-gloss oil-based paint and a darker color, so I wasn't sure if one gallon of ECOS Paints would be enough to cover it up. Additionally, the structure had a rough surface in many areas, which made me even more skeptical.
However, I quickly got to work and splashed on the first coat as a foundation. The paint dried quickly, so I had to work fast. The second coat covered much better, and I was impressed with the results. I had to do some touch-ups on a third day, but overall, I was amazed at how well the paint covered up the old paint and rough surface. What's more, I didn't have to deal with any fumes or deadly chemicals, which was a huge plus for me.
The color I ordered was just as I expected, and it has made a huge difference in the yard. The old truck body is no longer an eyesore, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Yes, the paint is a bit pricey, which can hurt the pocketbook of someone on a limited income like myself. However, I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone who has health issues or negative reactions to the chemicals in standard paints.
Overall, I'm so glad I found ECOS Paints. It's a great product that delivers on its promises, and I'm looking forward to using it again in the future for any touch-ups that may be needed. If you're looking for a safe and effective paint option, I highly recommend giving ECOS Paints a try!
ECOS Paints Review: Eco-Friendly and Great Coverage!
I recently tried out ECOS Paints and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised! I decided to cover up a mauve/pink color with their Metro shade, which is a light gray/white. I was a bit skeptical about the coverage, but to my surprise, it only took one coat to get the job done! I was impressed with how well the paint covered the previous color.
One thing I noticed was that the paint had little to no odor when I was trimming the woodwork and lights. However, when I started rolling it onto the walls and covering more surface area at once, the paint did have a strong smell. It was almost identical to a typical paint smell. However, after just two hours of finishing the painting, the smell was completely gone! I couldn't detect any strong paint smell that I had earlier.
In comparison to regular low VOC paint, I had smelled strong chemical odors for three weeks that gave me headaches and greatly affected my health. So, if you're still reading this, I would definitely recommend getting this paint! Just don't expect zero odor while applying it to walls. It will be strong for two hours and then disappear.
I would recommend wearing a mask or having someone else paint for you if you are sensitive to smells or have chronic health issues. In conclusion, I am satisfied with the color, the coverage, and the zero odor AFTER two hours. Keep in mind that I am very sensitive to smells, so I might be a bit biased by saying the odor was extreme before those two hours.
Overall, ECOS Paints is definitely the best no VOC paint I have found, and I will be ordering again for any other rooms I will be painting. If you're looking for a paint that is eco-friendly and has great coverage, then ECOS Paints is definitely worth checking out!
Ecos Radiator Paint Review: Disappointing Results and Wasted Money
I recently purchased 2 gallons of Ecos Radiator paint from ecospaints.net. Although it was a bit pricey, I figured it was worth it since it's specifically designed for radiators. I started with a radiator that was already in pretty good shape - no loose paint or rust. After spending a painstaking 2 hours painting the radiator, I stepped back to admire my work and was shocked to see rust spots freckled across much of the surface! I couldn't believe it! I decided to let it dry and check back in a couple of days. When I did, I was devastated to see that not only had the rust spread to cover over 50% of the radiator, but a great deal of the paint was flaking away! What on Earth! I was hoping that another coat would cover the rust, even though the previous coat should have been the last. I started the next coat by scraping off the flaking paint, which was not something I had to do in the beginning. After several hours of carefully repainting the radiator, rust would pop out through the coat of paint almost immediately after I finished an area. This happened all over the radiator again! So now, after many hours of work, I have a radiator in worse shape than it was before and 2 gallons of hugely expensive Ecos Radiator Paint. What a waste! Of money and time! Now I need to order another kind of radiator paint and start all over again. Ugh!
Disappointing Quality: A Review of ECOS Paints' Lullaby Collection Semi-Gloss Paint
I recently purchased the semi-gloss paint from ECOS Paints' Lullaby collection to give a second-hand crib a fresh coat of paint. I was drawn to this brand because of its non-toxic qualities, lack of odor, and ease of cleaning off skin with soap and water. However, I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the paint itself. As someone who has painted furniture and walls before, I have experience with a variety of paint brands, and this was by far the worst I have used.
The texture of the paint was more like Elmer's Glue than paint, and it dried so quickly that I had trouble getting around a single 4-sided crib post without the brush picking up dried bits from the first side I painted. This created crevices that were difficult to smooth out, and the paint ended up with an uneven texture. I followed all the instructions, including sanding the surface, using a tack cloth, and even using a coat of primer, which went on much more smoothly than the paint itself. Despite all this, I still had trouble achieving adequate coverage, and the old color was still visible after two coats of paint.
The paint also did not dry smoothly, and the brush strokes were visible. The semi-gloss finish was not semi-gloss at all, but more like a chalk paint with an eggshell sheen. It took so much time and effort to get this far that I almost regretted not just buying a new crib instead.
Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the quality of this paint, especially considering its high price and claims of being a high-quality product. The only redeeming quality was its non-toxic attributes, which at least made me feel safe about using it for my baby's crib. However, I cannot recommend this paint based on my experience with it.
ECOS Paints Review: Disappointing Customer Service and Unfulfilled Claims
I was really excited to try out ECOS Paints after reading all the great things about it on their website and from other customers. My two sons' rooms face a water tower that has a bunch of transmitters on it from companies like TMobile, Verizon, and AT&T. I bought a Trifield meter and found that the readings were pretty high, around 9-17 mW/m2 nearest the wall and around 2-3 mW/m2 near their beds. I tried using aluminum foil to block the signals, and it worked pretty well, but it didn't look very nice.
That's when I found ECOS Paints. I applied three coats to the walls in my youngest son's room and even installed the grounding kit they sell. After each coat, I measured the RF and there was no change in the readings. Even after three coats of paint! I was really impressed with the results and felt like I had finally found a solution to protect my kids from all the EMR/EMF/RF energies that are constantly bombarding us.
But then I contacted customer support to ask some questions about the product and was really disappointed with the response I got from Julian Crawford. He basically told me that the emissions must be outside the range of the EMR Shielding Paint and that I should have read the data sheets to know that it doesn't work. I felt like he was talking down to me and didn't really care about my concerns.
I'm not an expert on EMR, I'm just a dad who wants to protect his kids from any potential health risks. I took a chance on ECOS Paints because I believed in their claims, but now I feel like I wasted my money. I don't think this company stands behind its product and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. There are probably better options out there that actually work and have better customer service.
Disappointing Experience with ECOS Paints: Wasted Time and Money on a Blotchy, Dark Nursery
So, my husband and I decided to give ECOS Paints a try for our small nursery. We have painted 5 different rooms in our house before, so we thought we knew what we were doing. However, this time was a complete disaster. We spent 18 hours of our time, 1 gallon of primer, and 3 gallons of yellow paint, only to end up with a blotchy, horrible looking room.
We were surprised because we have used yellow paint in the past and have never had such a bad experience. Like all the other rooms we have painted before, this room had white walls. Prior to painting, we cleaned the walls as we always do. We did not apply primer because we have never had to apply primer with any other paint. However, the first coat of paint should have been a red flag. It was clear that the calculator used on the website was off. We were going to need much more paint than the website had suggested, even for this small nursery. On top of that, the walls looked dirty and gross after the first coat of paint.
We decided to reach out to customer service, and they were very responsive. They explained that with this yellow color, primer was a necessity. They even added a gallon of primer to our order, which was a positive customer service experience. A week later, when the primer and more paint arrived, my husband applied the primer. It looked great, and the coverage was great. None of the streaky yellow showed through, and it looked better than the white walls we painted over.
However, over the next week, my husband painted 6 more coats of the yellow paint on top of the primer, and we are out of paint now. Unfortunately, the walls are still streaky, and the color of the paint, even in the lighter spots, is about 3 shades darker than what we ordered. We compared it to both the swatch and the color on the lid of the paint can, and though they are the same shade, our walls are much darker.
We are disappointed because we are out $240 and will need to repaint the room with some other brand. I'll probably have to do it while pregnant because my husband is done wasting 18 hours of his life. So much for saving us from "harmful fumes". Overall, we were not satisfied with our experience with ECOS Paints.

Disappointing Experience with ECOS Paints Polyurethane: Brush Strokes and Satin Finish
Got my hands on some ECOS Paints polyurethane and it came in the mail pretty fast. The packaging was good, but when I tried to use it, it was a real pain in the butt. It doesn't level itself out, so you can see all the brush strokes, and the semi-gloss finish was more like a satin finish. I had to sand it all off and use some Minwax instead. I was really bummed out about it, especially since I have a lot of refinishing to do in my house and I hate having to wear a gas mask.
Disappointing Experience with ECOS Paints: Poor Quality and Inaccurate Color Match
I gotta say, I ain't too impressed with ECOS Paints. The sheens are just plain awful, and the quality ain't much better. I had 'em do a custom match for me, but it just ain't the same as the Benjamin Moore Dove White I was lookin' for. And get this, the company insists it's the same colorant, but I got proof on the outside of the cans that says otherwise. Now I gotta shell out even more cash to have everything repainted, and the initial paint job cost me a whopping $7,000.00! Needless to say, I'm pretty darn unhappy with the whole situation.
ECOS Paints Review: Eco-Friendly but Multiple Coats Required
I recently purchased some paint from ECOS Paints to give my two old cribs a fresh new look. I opted for the white primer and white lullaby paint, hoping that it would cover the old colors easily. However, I was disappointed to find that it took me three coats of paint (four including the primer) and it still wasn't covering the old colors completely.
I must admit that I was a bit frustrated with the multiple coats of paint that I had to apply. It made my cribs look cheap and unprofessional. I was hoping for a more seamless and effortless finish, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case.
After much consideration, I have decided to not continue with the painting process and instead buy two new cribs. While I appreciate the eco-friendly nature of ECOS Paints, the multiple coats of paint required were just too much for me to handle.
Overall, I would say that ECOS Paints is a good option for those who are looking for eco-friendly paint options. However, if you're looking for a paint that will cover old colors easily and seamlessly, then you may want to consider other options.

ECOS Paints Review: Fast Shipping, But Disappointing Color Accuracy
I was super excited to try out ECOS Paints for my baby's crib, which is due in September. I ordered three different shades of gray, hoping to find the perfect color. Unfortunately, when I received my order, all three shades were white! I was so disappointed, especially since I had paid $9 for the samples.
Despite my disappointment, I have to give ECOS Paints credit for their fast shipping. That was definitely a plus. However, I'm still left without the color I need for my baby's crib. I think I'll have to try finding samples and paint in a physical store instead.
Overall, I'm giving ECOS Paints two stars for my experience. While their shipping was fast, I was really let down by the fact that all three shades of gray turned out to be white. I hope they can improve their color accuracy in the future, as I would have loved to use their eco-friendly paint for my baby's crib.
Disappointed with ECOS Paints: Color Matching Failures and Doubts About Quality
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with ECOS Paints. I was trying to match a wall cover I had to the colors on their website, but it was a total bust. I mean, I get that it's hard to match colors perfectly because of different monitors and all that, but come on. None of the swatches I ordered even came close to the color I needed. And when I tried to take a picture of the wall, it just looked totally different than it does in real life.
I really wanted to order paint from ECOS because I've heard good things about their eco-friendly products, but now I'm not so sure. I mean, if they can't even get the colors right, how can I trust that their paint will be any good?
I'm really at a loss here. The wall color I'm trying to match has a lot of yellow or gold in it, but none of the swatches I got even came close. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to get a better match? I'm starting to think I might have to just give up on ECOS and try another brand.
ECOS Paints: Great Colors, Poor Customer Service
I was in the market for some exterior paint for my humble abode and decided to give ECOS Paints a try. I ordered a few samples of their paints and was pleasantly surprised with the variety of colors they offered. However, I had some follow-up questions that needed answering before I could make my final decision. So, I did what any normal person would do and filled out the form on their website to get some help.
That was over a week ago, and I still haven't heard back from them. I understand that companies can get busy, but a week seems like a long time to wait for a response. Without the answers to my questions, I can't make an informed decision and purchase their product. It's a shame because I was ready to make a decent-sized sale, but their lack of customer service has cost them my business.
I can't speak to the quality of their product since I haven't used it yet, but I can say that their customer service needs some work. It's frustrating to be left in the dark when you're trying to make a purchase. I hope they can improve their response time in the future because I would have loved to give their paint a try.
ECOS Paints Review: Good Paint, Poor Packaging and Customer Service
So, I recently ordered some paint from ECOS Paints and let me tell you, it was a bit of a mess. When I opened the box, I noticed that one of the metal tabs on the lid was halfway off and paint had leaked out all over the place. It was a real disaster! Some of the paint even managed to leak through the box and dry on our wood floors. I was pretty disappointed, especially considering that I had paid $70 for a gallon of paint.
I decided to reach out to customer service to see if they could help me out. They said they would contact UPS, but that was about it. I was hoping for a little more than that, to be honest. I mean, a free pint of paint or a coupon would have been a nice gesture to make up for the wasted product. But alas, nothing was offered.
Despite the mess, I will say that the paint itself was pretty good. I ordered the lullaby white matte and it looked nice on the walls. However, I did need to do a second coat to get the coverage I wanted. But now I'm hesitant to order another gallon, given my previous experience.
Overall, I think ECOS Paints has some good products, but they could definitely improve their customer service. And maybe they should work on their packaging a bit too!
Mixed Feelings: Review of Non-Toxic, Environmentally Friendly Paint
This paint is a bit of a mixed bag. On the one hand, it's great that there's no traditional paint smell. But on the other hand, the smell that it does have is pretty unpleasant. It's like something you'd find in the compost bin - not exactly what you want your bedroom to smell like! And even after weeks of the paint drying, the smell still lingers. It's not a dealbreaker, but it's definitely something to keep in mind.
Another thing that's a bit of a bummer is the packaging. The paint came with foam padding, which isn't biodegradable or recyclable. It's a shame that a company that's trying to be environmentally friendly would use so much non-biodegradable packaging. It feels like they're just greenwashing - saying they care about the environment, but not really doing anything about it.
That being said, there are some things to like about this paint. For one thing, it goes on smoothly and covers well. And it's nice to know that it's made with non-toxic ingredients. Plus, the colors are really nice - there's a good range to choose from, and they're all really vibrant.
Overall, I'd say that if you're looking for a paint that's environmentally friendly and non-toxic, this is a decent option. Just be prepared for the smell and the packaging.
Disappointing Coverage and Color: My Experience with ECOS Paints
I recently tried out ECOS Paints and while I was excited about the eco-friendly aspect, I have to say that I was disappointed with the paint coverage. I ended up giving it only one star because of this issue.
I ordered an off-white color and was surprised to see that it looked completely different from the sample I had chosen. The texture also seemed different from what I was expecting. I had ordered the paint in eggshell and it was supposed to have a medium gloss finish, but it looked more matte than any other matte paint I have ever used before. And trust me, I used to paint for a living!
I applied two coats of the paint, but it still didn't seem to be enough to get the coverage I was hoping for. I was really disappointed with the results and decided to email the company to see if I could return it. Unfortunately, I was told that they don't accept returns.
Overall, while I appreciate the eco-friendly aspect of ECOS Paints, I was really let down by the coverage and the fact that the color and texture didn't match what I was expecting. I hope that they can improve their product in the future so that others don't have the same experience that I did.
Disappointing Experience with ECOS Paints: Wrong Color and Poor Customer Service
I recently bought some paint from ECOS Paints for my baby's crib. I was really concerned about using a safe paint for my little one, so I did some research and found this company. I was excited to try it out and ordered a color card to make sure I got the perfect shade. Unfortunately, when the color card arrived, it was the wrong one! I was really disappointed, but I decided to go ahead and order the paint anyway, hoping that it would still be the right color.
When the paint arrived, I was really excited to get started on my project. I mailed it to my woodworker's house and eagerly awaited the finished product. But when the crib was finished, I was really disappointed to see that the color was completely wrong! I had wasted almost $200 on paint that wasn't even the right color. I was really frustrated and upset, but I didn't have time to start over. I just settled for the wrong color and hoped that it wouldn't be too noticeable.
To make matters worse, when I tried to contact customer service about the issue, I had a really bad experience. I called on a Saturday, but the company was closed. I spoke to someone from their answering service who asked me a bunch of questions, but they never called me back like they promised. I was really disappointed with the lack of customer service and felt like I had wasted my money on a product that didn't even work.
Overall, I would not recommend ECOS Paints to anyone. While I appreciate their commitment to safe and eco-friendly products, their customer service and quality control are seriously lacking. If you're looking for a reliable and trustworthy paint company, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
