EDWARD DORR PEYTON review: LIAR, DISHONEST SCAM ARTIST, FRAUD, ABUSE 2

Do not do business with Edward Dorr Peyton from Pensacola Florida. He is a liar and blames you for all of his short comings. Because there are many people with the common name "Edward Peyton" I want to make sure he is not confused with another innocent person online. He went to school at University of West Florida until he lost his enrollment and had to finish at Oglethorpe University.

My nightmare with Edward Peyton began on March 27th when he made fraudulent bids on 5 of my auctions with the apparent intent of not paying and/or leaving fake negative feedback. I assume he did this because I am a competitor of his. He sells on eBay under the user ID manymagazines. However, he did not bid on my auctions with that name. He used another account zubedobop to make these "purchases" in a stealth fashion.

My suspicion was first raised when two days later I receive this message instead of the agreed upon payment from Edward Peyton:

"I am moving money now, but it won’t be before the weekend, because they couldn’t move the cash as a transfer, so I am having to deposit a check from one account to another, and there is a hold of a few days. I apologize for the delay, of course, but it will only be a few business days."

Obviously, this is a stall email. However, I wanted to give Mr Peyton the benefit of the doubt, so I waited. After a full week had passed, I followed with Mr Peyton and asked him where the payment was. On April 4th, I receive the following response:

"I apologize for the delay. I have not yet gotten the check that I need to then deposit. (I did not know this, but Friday was a brokerage holiday) I expect it today. I will email again with details, once I have them. My payment record is 100%."

Again, more red flags all over this message. More stall tactics and lies. Ebay Trust and Safety has since confirmed that Edward Peyton is notorious for not following through on ebay contracts. He has a long list of sellers who were forced to file cases to get him to pay and/or were never paid.

Since Mr Peyton "expected the funds to be ready to pay me that day (April 4th)", you would expect in another few days he would have made the payment...NOPE! He refused to pay and gave another excuse on April 7th saying he just needed "a few more days". Mr Peyton never paid and has since emailed with more excuses refusing to pay. He is dishonest and untrustworthy. Cancel any and all deals with this con man.
