sent me a wrong item
I ordered one box of beef floss from Imelda through text since July 31, but took them a month to shipped. I had to let her know that I haven't receive my first order.
Got my order and found out they sent me a wrong item. They sent me chicken floss instead of the beef floss! I texted Imelda & asked her and she replied sorry the warehouse must be wrong view. So I asked her if I'll get free of charge & the answer "hahaha" sorry can't.
Wow, really! First of all, It wasn't my fault. It was your fault! Second, very unprofessional to treated customer like that! We are not just talking about $12 here! We talking about how much money I spent already but they even didn't bother to give me one free of charge for my next order!
Well screw you Efooddepot! I'll never ordering from you ever again & I'll tell all of my Indonesian friends about your suck service!
Messed up order
I used eFoodDepot in total two times. First experience was ok and I received everything on time and was really satisfied with my purchase.
But my second experience turned up to be a real nightmare and they messed up my entire order.
I received the package and several cans were broken and everything in the box was wet and sticky, there were also several pieces missing.
I contacted eFoodDepot customer service and demanded a full refund, but they never replied to my messages and when I called they did not pick up.
I will not order from them again, they just lost a costumer!
Disappointed customer
Ordered some food from eFoodDepot and was supposed to receive my order in two weeks, but nothing arrived so I called and asked about my order. They said that they need to check what was going on and that was the last thing I heard from them. Later I called again and wanted to ask for a refund, but they did not pick up the phone. So I contacted my bank and asked them to deal with eFoodDepot. After that I finally received an answer from them and they finally delivered my order. But I was very disappointed because some product were damaged and few were missing. Never again!

Not receive my items
I placed order on March 13, 2015 (order # [protected]) and almost a month I still not receive my items. I sent them email asking what's going on and they sent me UPS tracking number on March 27, that until today March 30 still not shown when my item will be delivered. Before I have no issue with this company, but seems that this order will be my last one for this company.
I received empty box that cost me $50! I ask for refund and they asked me to send picture of the empty box. I emailed them several times and only the first 2 emails were replied and the rest, nothing! This is such a BS company! I reported them to the FTC so they'll get investigated and close down! I suggest the other victims to do the same!
More than a month ago I ordered $117 worth of food from them and have yet to hear a word. They charged my credit card but...nothing. I have called several times and got nothing more than a voice mail with a mailbox number and no name of the business. I sent numerous emails. I am going to file a complaint with the BBB and state attorney's office.
Place an order on 12-02-09. They accepted the order. As of 12-21-09 there has been no response to my numerous emails.
They do not answer the phone. During their off time the phone is routed to an answering service that tells you to call back later.

Received EXPIRED product in my order, called their TollFree [protected] no answered. So many complaints on the internet about this company doing unethical way of selling expired products and I've should listen. Do not shop at efooddepot and be the victim of expired product like me!"
Efooddepot.com sent me outdated product. The date on the jar lid was smudged and illegible, which made me suspect. ...but there was a second date, harder to see on the jar itself. The product was two weeks out of date. I would highly recommend shopping elsewhere.
Company sent wrong product (which was also defective). They did not respond to two emails, and when I called I was supposed to receive a call back - which never happened. Very disappointed with this merchant and will never order from them again.
All chocholate I bought all melted and the rest my package is sticky from the chocolate melt when contacted them they do not respond very nice as well. Don't waste your money with efooddepot. It took them 4 days to pack + additional 4 to 5 days to received it.
Worst experience ever! Sent old, expired food and items damaged due to poor packing. They don't answer the phone or emails. By online chat they said I would get a refund and a new item. Never received anything.

Great selection. Not sure why others had issues, problem when they were starting out. But this is a different company from what you read on here. Customer service was very responsive. Updated order status via automatic e-mail at every step of order processing. Packaged well, arrived quickly and foods were very fresh. Couldn't have been better!

EXPIRED ROTTEN FOODS!
Efooddepot Is a horrible company that sells EXPIRED ROTTEN FOOD! We purchased goods over $90 and half of the items ware at least 6 months passed the expiration date, I don’t know why these people cheats their customers by selling these food that totally unsafe to even smell! And some packages were damaged and things were leaking from it! And to make it worse there were some missing items too. It was the most Horrible experience ever, I think I have said enough!
Took them almost 2 weeks to finally shipped items and another 9 days for me to get it. Will not order from them again .

I spent $75 on expired and/or unordered crap packed in a box...some of it I ordered, some of it just randomly thrown in there for filler. Efooddepot completely ignored me and my order
I placed an order in June and paid immediately through Paypal. Subsequently, several weeks went by with no communication from them, no product. E-mails and phone messages went unanswered; I tried the "Live Contact" on their website but no one ever responded.
Finally I had to file a dispute through Paypal in order to get my money back. I think it speaks volumes about this "company" that no one even bothered to respond to the Paypal dispute.
I simply want my experience on the public record to help prevent other online customers from being ripped off.
Never received product, charged me twice
I made an online purchase from e-food depot.com for $32.43 on April 26, 3010. My banking acct. was debited. I never received email, tracking etc., nor the merchandise I ordered. The phone number listed online is not legitimate and the new number given when I called - goes directly to an answering machine everytime I call.I left several messages. They never responded. Finally I was able to track my order at their site. The merchandise had broken enroute so was sent back to e-food.com- per tracking they received on May 6. They finally responded to my email and gave me the tracking number of the damaged merchandise. I again emailed and they stated they would replace the damaged goods and send the next day and would send me a tracking number when item was sent. I happened to look at my bank statement and saw they had debited my acct. AGAIN for $ 32.43. I have emailed they do not respond. I have called and their mailbox is full . SO cannot contact them . WHAT DO I DO ? I am so frustrated !
wrong items sent lied about refund etc
The short version is I ordered six of one item and they sent 5 wrong things. I contacted them several times, spoke mostly with a Susan who 'assured' me that this would be handled quickly etc etc. This started April 19, 2011 and today is May 9. I was told to send pictured and the order number to their email and to destroy the product because they do not accept returns of what I ordered ( Great Wall Yinchiao Tablets without acetaminophen - it came with acetaminophen). I was told that I would receive an email with a return label. I never got that until Monday May 2, AFTER I was told by Susan that I would get a full refund (we had agreed that I would get a refund I would keep the one bottle they got right and I would pay to ship back. When I called her on Tuesday May 3, I was told that the refund would be in my account by Friday May 6. Today May 9th 2011 after numerous phone calls and an agreement with Susan that never occurred I was told by Susan that according to company policy (which was the first time anyone mentioned this) I must return the items before I get refund. I have filed complaints with BBB and Ok consumer protection office, as well with my financial institution. I will send everything back and let everyone know what happens. In the mean time... DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY...

I place an order on April 14, 2011, my credit card charged the next day on April 15, 2011 but i never received it till today April 25, 2011. Call customer service on April 19, they said will be ship but never received my tracking. 11 Days gone by i still not getting my package or update from efooddepot whereabout my package. I have dispute this with my credit card company.
I will never ever buy from efooddepot.com (biggest scam) - this company have DISGUST ME, take customer money never ship and most probably they do not have it in stock.
Charged For Cancelled Order
I ordered quite a few items on a weekend and contacted them via live help on their website the next day to cancel the order. I was told that I would not be charged. A week later, i noticed that I was in fact charged yet nothing shipped. I contacted them again and told them to refund my card and that i have already contacted my credit card and filed a charge back. I was told that i would be refunded. However, the next day i received a Fedex tracking number that my items shipped. I contacted Fedex and told them that I would like the item to not be delivered and returned to the shipper. Fedex returned the item back and i contacted my credit card again and updated them with the information. This morning, i received a letter from my credit card that the charge back was decided in my favor.
If you run into issues with efooddepot, please do a charge back. I ordered items from them prior to reading reviews and it's scary how they are still in business after all the complaints i have been reading about them.

Efooddepot - SCAM
This website is a SCAM. I ordered $18.38 worth of Milka Hazlenut Chocolates for my mother. I recieved the order on February 23, 2011 and gave all the chocolates to mom, the next time I saw her (two days later, on my birthday), she asked me never to order from there again and showed me why. The chocolates were dry, tasteless and had expired on Jan. 23, 2010. I immediately called EFoodDepot. They asked me to send pictures of the bad chocolates to their support email and that they would refund my money. I sent the pictures, along with images of the expiration date and received no response. When I called them the next day, they told me that I'd receive my refund in 3-5 business days. On March 6, 2011 I called EFoodDepot and they said that they were sorry for the inconvenience and they'd refund the money immediately and that it would show on my account the next day. Nothing. I'm calling my card company and having them refund this instead. There's no reason for them to take this long.
I am having the same problem thank you for the article . I am going round and round with them and the same thing is happening take what they want anytime they want. Someone needs to do something.

Expired Product -
As i excited finally able to buy some groceries online without leaving my house but it turns into nightmare with Efooddepot.com. 5 REASONS NOT TO SHOP WITH EFOODDEPOT
1) Order was placed and it took them almost 1 week to fulfill (even this i have to call them up to check on my order)
2) I finally received the order 1 1/2 weeks later. Soon as i open the package and i straight look at the expiration date on this food which my habit to check every time i bought groceries - it show that this product expired.
3) I call Efooddepot.com no respond, email them took few days to get back to me, which i explained the whole situation and the rep told me they going to exchange it and then no respond from them again till today February 7, 2011. I LOST ABOUT $60 SOME for Groceries ends up in the TRASH!
I will dispute this and will report to Department of Health in Oklahoma where they are located. EFOODDEPOT BEEN THE WORST ONLINE SHOPPING SITE I'VE BEEN TOO. Search for Efooddepot review or efooddepot complaints - you will see tons of BAD EXPERIENCE people shop with them.
Ripped off
Seven months ago I placed an order on efooddepot.com. After several weeks of not hearing anything from them, I contacted them and was told that the reason my order had not been processed is because many of the items I ordered were not in stock (although there was no mention on the website of my items not being in stock). They went ahead and shipped some of the items to me, and after more weeks passed I called them to inquire about the remainder of my order which had not been sent. The woman who answered the phone was rushed and curt with me, and told me that the rest of my order would be shipping 'soon' but that she couldn't give me an estimated ship date.
WELL - seven months has passed. I have made many calls to them, and have also contacted the staff of this website on their live chat feature a number of times. For several months, they told me my order would ship soon and finally agreed to send me two items out of the ten that I had not received that had finally come into stock. When my mail arrived, one of the two items, some energy chews, were actually missing from the packaging and all that was in my package was a crumbled up box with no energy chews inside it. I didn't even bother to complain, because so much of my energy and time had already been wasted on the phone with them trying to get my order. Finally, a month ago, I called and insisted that they refund my money for the items that were not delivered. They never refunded my money, but they listed my order as 'complete' on the website in my account information. I emailed them to inform them I never got my refund and of course I never got a response. I am counting my losses for the nine total items that I paid for and never received, and I am not going to try to get 'what is mine' from them because it is simply too much of a hassle. This has been hands down, the very worst shopping and customer service experience of my entire life.
EFOODDEPOT TRIED TO RIP ME OFF, BUT I FOUGHT BACK
Don't waste your time thinking that efood depot will respond to your e-mails or phone calls. Tell them you are going to report them to the office of attorney general in your state. That's what I did after numerous fruitless e-mails and phone attempts (oh yeah, they don't answer their phones either.)
Within 24 hours after they got my threatening e-mail, they e-mailed me and said they were going to credit me for the items they failed to include in the shipment and they did. They are nothing more than scam artists so shop elsewhere and save yourself frustration and aggravation.
Scams
This company has the absolute worst customer service ever. They act like everything they have is in stock. Once you place your order they'll send out an e-mail and tell you its shipped... thats a lie. No tracking number will ever be given to you and people must ask themselves- why?
After many e-mails and demands for a refund did they finally do it. However, it took 26 God damn days to get my money back. That's almost a month. Don't buy from this company and never use your credit cards online. They'll have all you're info. Use paypal, because if they'll never be able to use all your information.
Screw efooddepot. Don't buy from them and ask yourself also, why it takes such a long time for a company to respond to live chat. They've never responded once... for a "huge company" they must have more on their hands than they can handle?
I AGREE 100%. They are the ABSOLUTE WORST. I have been waiting for over $150 worth of product and no product in site. I am glad I used a prepaid debit card.

Efooddepot just doing scam to get your credit card information when you called them no one answer the phone furthermore NOTHING IN STOCK. I ordered from efooddepot on april 19, 2 weeks later i have email them to ask the status of my order (no respond from them), when i check my statement they have charge me for the items i have not recieved for almost 1 1/2 months (What a joke, showing everything in stock none of it actually in stock). AVOID IT AT ALL COST!
Buyer beware
I placed an order on March 1, 2010 for $86 worth of merchandise but as of May 24 it hasn't shipped. Depending on what time you call their phone number you may get no answer, a flower shop, a recording. I did one time get through to someone and they assured me it would be shipped right away. It didn't happen. My gut feeling is this is someone running a business out of their garage with no real stock. I think they just take your orders and then place the orders themselves for the product.
