Egumbell said on my contract that if my web site was not up in 30 days I would get a full refund. There was no place on the contract authorizing them to make electronic.payments, so when they took money out of my bank account without a authorization, I canceled my service and they told me that if they had the bank info then they had authorization to remove money, which is breaking the law. I called my bank who verified that I am right, you can't remove money from someones account because they have my bank info. The bank refunded all my money because egumbell broke the law. SERIOUSLY, GO TO YOUR BANK AND FILL OUT UNAUTHORIZED ELECTRONIC REMOVAL AND THE BANK WILL GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK. THEN GO TO THE STATES ATTORNEYS OFFICE IN YOUR STATE AND FILE THEFT AND AND FRAUDULENT BANKINH TRANSACTIONS. Don't bother talking to the criminals that got you in this position, they won't help you and only way to put them out of business is if everyone files charges. I got my money and my bank will refund any monies they try to take in the future and the bank and I will file charges on them every time. I hope this helps everyone.

Thanks for good information.
Egumball company is threatening me they said they will sue me because I canceled my card for not paying anymore because of contract but I already closed my restaurant last year. I didn't get any service and they threatening me by email they will sue me.
I'm so angry at that company and I will sue them. I paid already too much for them more than $500 for nothing but they said I have to pay more $500.

I have just received a phone call from an employee at egumball.com who said they represent Google. He was rude and unprofessional when I expressed that I didn’t want to talk to him about the product he offered. His phone number is [protected]. I know this is his number because after I hung up on him he called me back and threatened me saying that he would make sure that my business wasn’t on Google and never would be. I take this as a direct threat to the welfare of my business.

UPDATE - AND IT'S NOT GOOD FOR ME!
So, after I left my reviews for what I consider terrible service by egumball, I received a call from Elaine who is a customer satisfaction agent at egumball. She informed me that she had read my review and wanted to express to me that the way my account was handled is not a good representation of how egumball values their clients and she wanted to correct the situation with me. I was very honest with her about my experience and was happy to hear that egumball was going to give me a refund. Great right? NOPE! I was sent an email by Egumball that my bank account had been credited, but not 30 seconds later I received a notification from my bank that they had TAKEN ANOTHER $159.01 OUT OF MY BANK ACCOUNT! No authorization, no permission, just debited money right out of my account. Elaine the account rep kept assuring me that they had in fact refunded me, but here it is 4 hours later, and my bank statement still shows that they took (or IMO stole) more money out of my bank account. So only time will tell if this latest action was malicious, or just incompetence. Either way, Egumball is NOT a company you should do business with.
ORIGINAL REVIEW
If you are a small business owner who has been contacted by egumball, PLEASE READ MY REVIEW and save yourself from wasting your money. Their sales pitch is a scam at best and fraudulent at worst.
After being contacted many many times by egumball telling me that my google business account was either not verified or might be removed because of inaccurate information, I finally listened long enough to speak with a customer service agent / salesperson. My salesperson's name was Bailey who's extension at the time was 425. I also spoke with his supervisor/manager who's name I believe was Cameron. I had some extra time on my hands that day so I thought I would let Bailey give me his sales pitch, and maybe at least I would learn a few things and at the very least be taken off of the call list. I won't give the full play by play of the sales call, but in short, I gave Bailey my long list of hesitations of why I don't trust companies like egumball. One of my main hesitations was that I didn't trust that I would get any value for my money. Being a small business owner, I have a very tight budget, and when things are slow you get a little desperate for new customers. Bailey caught me on one of our slow periods so I guess I was hoping that what he told me was true. Of all of the pitches Bailey gave me, the one point that made me consider signing with egumball was HIS PROMISE, that if I was unhappy for any reason, I could cancel my service and get 100% of my money back, guaranteed. When he told me this I wanted to make sure that I had heard him right and so we talked about this very point for more than a few minutes. He even got his manager (Cameron) on the phone who also promised me that if for any reason I wasn't satisfied with my service, I would get a full refund and would not be required to continue to pay for any future service. Well... you guessed it, THAT WAS A TOTAL LIE.
After a few weeks had gone by and basically nothing as far as I could see was done with my account, my website, my google listing, etc., I called to cancel my service as per my agreement with my salesperson. That was when I was told that the actual service agreement that I e-signed said I was on the hook for an additional two months of paid service. Sure enough, IT DID SAY THAT ON THE ELECTRONIC CONTRACT. Now, keep in mind that the contract is several pages long, and when they sign you up, its a pretty rushed experience. No doubt so that you don't read the agreement and compare it to what the salesperson said to you. My mistake. I completely own up to the fact that I got duped by what the salesperson told me and didn't study the agreement careful enough to call them on the discrepancy. So here I am, having paid for two months of service now, with ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT. And after going back and forth with their customer service department, telling them what I was verbally promised, they are threatening to send my account to collections.
And so my fellow small business owners, do not be duped by anything they tell you. It doesn't even matter that I have the entire sales call recorded and it clearly states that I would get a full refund if I was unhappy for any reason. They just disregard it. Please, please, save your money and your sanity and do not sign up with egumball, or any company who wants to "help" your business get more presence on the web. These companies prey upon small business owners hopes of increasing their online traffic. If you sign up with egumball I promise you will regret your decision.

EGumball hoodwinked me, too. Their sales tactics pressure you to sign up immediately, and then their sales rep isn't completely forward with all the details of the contract.
I am a franchisee, so I explained I had to check with corporate to see if their product was allowed. They assured me they worked with other franchises from the same corporation, and that I would have 30 days to opt out, but did not explain that was only if they hadn't setup my account. There is a 3 day opt out clause, but I explained that wasn't enough time for corporate to respond, so I was assured I could do within 30 days.
When I had to cancel because corporate told me too, EGumball did not honor what they said. Claimed they listened to the sales call, which was over an hour and 2 different phone lines, and then only mentioned one part of the conversation--not the one about my concerns with corporate. When I asked to listen to the sales call, they declined.
I ended up paying a buyout clause that saved me a little on the 6 month contract, but was ridiculous high.
Also, during setup and my cancellation, I was told I'd receive a call back & never did. This happened 4 times over a month.

It cost me $298 already--although I called my bank and disputed the charges. They just called again and want me to email a formal cancellation. I guess they didn't understand the STICK IT cancellation. I hope others are smarter than me. PLEASE---DO NOT even talk to these people!
