Be careful
You should avoid this website and most of the people who are signed in. It's definitely not the place where you can find your love. And you definitely don't have to pay money for this. It's for free in real life.
It's a shame that many men are pervs, look for women just for fun, to spend one night and to say goodbye. Most of them don't want serious relationships. You should be very careful, you never know what background have these people, maybe they have families. You never know.
Please, be careful and try to choose real life, develop your communication skills and you'll never need websites anymore.
What a waste of money
My experience with them was terrible and I can't give them a positive feedback. I was very disappointed with their service and the way they treat customers judging by how many times I called and emailed them for my issue resolution and got absolutely nithing in return. No help, no assistance. I had problems with my account which wasn't used whatsoever ad instead of resolving such a small issue they gave me a hard time. Simply awful, nothing else to say.
awful/few matches and terrible refund policy
I signed up for eHarmony abut a month ago and after receiving very few matches and none of which were my physical type I complained to customer service. They told me to loosen or change my parameters so I had to go from 50 mile radius to 120 (there is no in between) and now I get still a very few matches from at minimim a good hour and usually more away from me that are not even close to my physical type. (And I live in a major metropolitan area btw) Looks are not everything but an initial attraction is a must! When I complained to customer service they said they'd cancel my account for me but I still owed another $50+ and couldn't get any portion of my prior payment back. This site is not worth the money and if I wanted to be matched with guys I have no interest in I would stay on the free sites! eHarmony is a rip off, don't waste your money!
eharmony not checking out the men for fake profiles
I met some name James from North Atlanta. We exchanged phone number but his accent was not from the United kingdom but African. All of the sudden he's in Africa on business. I knew he got there too quick for airplane flight. Then the next guy you removed him the same night he sent me an hello. With fake picture and address of where he's from. The last one Michael from McDonough Ga. His profile was legit but it was clear he is looking for sex. Not one good experience.
my email was changed
my email was changed and i didnt do it also ive been writting yall telling yall i met someone on yalls site in which yall told me to so i could conceal my subscripsion with yall his name is david he already got off the site when we

auto renewal and billing
Today was my last day of my membership. When I logged in to cancel, they had already auto-renewed for 6 months. That shouldn't happen until tomorrow. I am disgusted and the customer service is appalling. I cancelled my account but am still expected to pay for the next 6 months of membership. There were no emails or any notifications sent that the account would be updated on the last day of my membership.
incorrectly charged on no repeat billing selected
Question Reference # [protected]
I had set up no repeat billing and got charged another $180 subscription.
I complained and sent an email with all info and the company advised they could not confirm the no repeat billing option was selected and they wont refund me.
EHARMONY IS A RIP OFF AND SHOULD BE DEALT WITH!
NO REFUND GRANTED AND I DID EVERYTHING AS PER PROCESS.
I just opened an account
I had an account once before and closed it because I thought I had met someone but now I just just opened a new account and your site charged me for the first month then immediately closed the account to where I cannot access anything and it will not let me reopen the account. I want a refund of my money immediately! Your company will lose my business if this is not taken care of!
scammers on eharmony
I joined eHarmony not a long time ago and I have enough of it already. As soon as I finished updating my profile info and uploaded some photos I received several messages. At the beginning I was very impressed with how fast everything worked. I really thought these girls were real, but only later I found out they were scammers, when they started to ask money. I immediately realized that someone tried to scam me and that all that time they just made fun of me. I sent a scam report to eHarmony but did not receive a reply and no action was taken! I am very disappointed that eHarmony allows that kind of stuff to happen on their site.
Either they are too lazy to do something about that or they are involved. Better stay away!
got scammed
I used eHarmony for less than a month and that time was enough to understand that the whole thing was just a scam and waste of time. To use eHarmony I had to pay for many extra features, their site is pretty expensive, also I realized that there were too many fake accounts. I decided that eHarmony wasn't for me and that it was better to cancel everything and go somewhere else.
I contacted their support team and asked them to cancel my account and was shocked when they asked for more money! They said that I had to pay to cancel my account. I told them that I want proofs and I want to see their price list or something like that, but they replied that they did not had a price list, but they had their own rules and according to those so called rules I had to pay to get removed from their site.
Remember my words, these people are good for nothing money hungry scammers, avoid them at all costs!
subscription rip off
As soon as I changed my subscription to the Non Renewal, E harmony locked me oe out, though I had time remaining on my subscription.
Neil Warren may have a great smile, yet this supposedly Christian betrays following the Christian virtues of fairness, integrity, customer service and creditability.
Although I received numerous 100% matches from E harmony, none responded. What's up with the rating system if the ladies do not respond?
Hmmm maybe fake profiles. A generally accepted practice of dating websites to bait you to continue the subscription.
They charged me for 6 months when I had used only 2. when I cancelled they still processed the last payment. Speaking of Christian organization- they never considered my parameters and threw my way people that were clearly non compatible. Makes you wonder how do these people sleep at night. Hopefully more people will stay away from them. Integrity and ethics are not their strong sides.
refund and customer service
I tried to cancel my subscription to e- harmony on the day before it expired but they told me it had to be 48 hours which was made unclear. Then when I tried to talk to them all I got was someone who didn't know anything then they gave me an email to write to. Which basically was the same thing the lady said without human interaction. I feel there is no concern for the people involved. There should be some warning as to when your contract will be renewed. There is not even an early cancellation fee of some sort. There should be something incase life happens and you can no longer afford to pay.
refund request
I began eHarmony and found it difficult to use. I tried many times to contact and found there was NO human being to explain my frustration.
I am not very good with a computer.
Result $ 47 plus or $ 150 .
I finally contacted a person and was told NO I would not get a refund. This is poor business practice and most likely uses people like me who don't know any better and just pay !
This is wrong and I will contact many agencies as well as State Representatives, Better Business Bureau to stop paying on venerable people who can least afford it.

subscription
I installed the app on my phone and completed the questions prompted. It was then explained that I needed to upgrade to be able to do certain things but the payment kept failing and then when it said it worked the app still wasn't showing me the upgraded view so I cancelled it. I then logged in today from my mac and subscribed there no problem through paypal. Looking at online banking though the original payment of over £100 was taken anyway and I wasn't get the upgraded version. I want both payments back from both paypal and itunes and to cancel the account because the app clearly doesn't work properly and they now have a lot of money off me and yet I haven't been able to use the service I have paid for twice.
scammers and hackers
I have tried to get into my account and finally did but there is no place on the page to shut down my account or even change my profile. If I could have changed my profile I would have told people that this is a scam and be weary. I would have wrote bad things to get their attention. Where do I get the help I need. All Iwant is to shut down my account so no scammer can con a innocent person.
scammers and hackers
This started with match.com and because of match I can not get into any dating site. I'm asking eharmony to shut down my account and give me a refund. But eharmony chooses to let hackers in my account to take advantage of innocent men. I appolize for eharmoney. Just close out my account so nobody can use it and send me a refund. I thought this was a good site until I read the reviews. Before you join any site read all reviews. Thankyou for reading my complaint.
Contact eHarmony directly to get your account closed.
scams and hackers
I have put several complaints in and got no response so here I am again. Eharmonys tv commercial is a joke. I got more response from match. My account has been taken over by a hacker and eharmony does nothing to stop it. I have asked eharmony to delete my account and give me a refund. Why should my hard earned money be used to scam innocent people but eharmony could careless. I will keep writing until I get some action from eharmony. Eharmony is the biggest scammer of all. They need to go out of business or learn how to deal with fraud.
I have already filled a complaint and nothing was done about it. It started out I could not get Into my profile and they sent me a email to change my password still cannot get into my profile. Same thing happened on match but I was able to see someone had taken over my profile. If eharmony cares about there customers they should close your account and give you your money back but we all know that's not going to happen. There commercial is a joke and they should e put out of business.
I'm reporting being scammed everyday until eharmony contacts me and does something. My account has been hacked and it started with match.com. I cannot get into any dating site since a hacker hit my account on match. All I'm asking is for someone from eharmony to delete my account and refund my money. I have closed the bank I used so they cannot rebill me like so many other complaints. You and match are a joke. Your tv add says you are the best sites which lead to marriage. Bull ____. You are the scammers.
I have not been able to get into my account because a hacker took over. I thought I was paying for a safe and secure site. All I want to do is get my account closed out and a refund for the time I have left. If my account is not closed down a scammer will scam someone that is innocent. Is that the type of reputation you want to have. If I do not get a response I will submit a complaint everyday.
Your commercial on tv is a joke. If I had read the complaints posted I would never signed up. Like match I'm disappointed in your service. I can't get into my profile and you can send all the emails you want to reset my password. It will not work. What I want is for you to delete my account so nobody can use it and a refund. I work hard for the money I have and I do not like being taken advantage of. Respond to me and let me know what is going on. If I don't get a response I will post everyday until I do.
profile scammed
Yesterday which was 11/7/2016 I had trouble getting into my account. It said my email or password is wrong. So I changed my password and email several times and still could not get into my profile. The same thing happened with match but on match I got to see a picture of a woman I did not know. I just want to get into my profile to delete it. Don't try to charge me any money because on 10/29/2016 I closed my account. What I have read about the site is not good and I don't expect money back. I only wish I would have read about eharmony before I signed up.
customer services
I was thrilled to receive a message from a match, but after trying several times to contact him, I couldn't. I phoned eharmony customer services, less then 24hrs after his message, and was surprised to be told he'd moved on. Next I was told he was no longer s member of eharmony. I have a very good feeling about this man, and am keen to reply to his message. I gave eharmony my permission to pass on my contact details to this man, but they refuse, I'm very disappointed and disagree with this decision. I'm a paying member, therefore I choose who I'd like to contact, and its him. I do hope someone can help me contact him!
misleading advertising - preferences count for nothing
Did you know that if you want to request a refund of your annual eHarmony subscription, you need to do so in the first 3 days? However, during the first 3 days of membership, eHarmony send you profiles to make it seem like they have a veritable database of suitable people and a match is sure to happen imminently. At that point in time you’re still getting to grips with the site, how to communicate with potential matches and you still have belief that the time spent completing all the questions will pay off as eHarmony’s algorithm works its magic and offers suggestions of perfect matches.
On closer inspection, despite the hours spent answering countless questions about your preferences, you realise that many of the suggested profiles are not matches but near matches. Then, absurdly, they have a category called “What if”. These are definitely not matches and in my opinion are suggestions to try and make it seem like eHarmony’s database is substantial.
After 14 days or thereabouts, eHarmony stop adding profiles and occasionally add an unsuitable near match or a What if. They say the pages are updated daily but I have weeks with no new matches. When you realise there are no suitable matches and you dismiss their What if suggestions, eHarmony’s advice is “Try widening your match preferences. It’s like opening your arms – you’ll get more matches.” To me, this is insulting, infuriating and totally goes against their USP and advertising campaign which features Jenny & her “foodie” boar date. Their ad stresses that if you aren’t properly matched up with someone, then the date can just be a waste of your time. As the ad says: “Our experts partner people on their behaviours, values, characteristics and, you know, the stuff that really matter.” Stupidly, I thought that eHarmony had more substance than sites like Tinder. After all, eHarmony promises long-term relationship and puts you through a lengthy sign-up process.
I queried the need to expand my preferences as surely this was against their ethos and USP via their online feedback form and straight away got a reply:
What If allows you to review some eHarmony members in addition to the ones you’d normally see on your Matches page. These new people are completely compatible with you, though many may be older, younger, or a little further away than you may have requested. They aren’t actual matches—at least not yet! By choosing to communicate with them, you can turn them into matches, and they’ll be moved to your Matches page, where you can continue the communication process. Or if you prefer not to communicate with them, that’s fine too—just click on “Next Profile, ” and we’ll show you another new person.
This page changes every day, so feel free to visit it often—and don’t pass up on communication with someone today. You never know if they’ll still be here tomorrow to talk to!
Moreover, I see that you purchased a multi-payment subscription which still has payments remaining; therefore, we’re unable to close your account at this time or provide any refunds. In the time left on your subscription, I want to encourage you to take advantage of all that eHarmony has to offer. Finding a great, long-lasting love doesn't always happen instantly, but with 438 eHarmony members on average marrying every day in the United States, we think you'll find that the time you invest in your eHarmony membership today could yield a lifetime of happiness.
I found eHarmony’s reply infuriating, incorrect and irrelevant – why do I care about marriages in the USA when I live in England? My response to eHarmony’s reply – my request to cancel my subscription as I felt I had been misled by their advertising went unanswered until I finally took to Twitter and eHarmony replied to my tweet with a phone number to call. I called and the person was unable to help but gave me an email address I could send my complaint to. I duly registered my complaint and was informed “As mentioned in our Terms and Conditions of Service, eHarmony is unable to grant refund for any reason if a refund is not requested within the first 3 days of the initial subscription date. As a result, I am unable to grant your request for a refund.”
I would not wish anyone else to lose £119.40 to a company that does not deliver according to its very visible advertising.

About eHarmony
One of the things that sets eHarmony apart from other dating sites is its unique matching system. Instead of simply allowing users to browse through profiles and message each other, eHarmony uses a proprietary algorithm to match users based on a variety of factors, including personality traits, values, and interests. This means that users are more likely to find someone who is truly compatible with them, rather than just someone who looks good on paper.
Another key feature of eHarmony is its focus on long-term relationships. While other dating sites may be geared more towards casual hookups or short-term flings, eHarmony is designed to help users find lasting love. This is reflected in the site's comprehensive personality questionnaire, which takes around 30 minutes to complete and is designed to help users understand themselves better and find partners who share their values and goals.
In addition to its matching system and focus on long-term relationships, eHarmony also offers a range of other features to help users connect and communicate. These include a messaging system, a "What If?" feature that suggests potential matches based on users' preferences, and a mobile app that allows users to access the site on the go.
Overall, eHarmony is a well-established and highly respected dating site that is ideal for singles who are serious about finding a long-term partner. With its unique matching system, focus on compatibility, and range of features, eHarmony is a great choice for anyone who is looking for love online.
