i am writing this letter to tell people how dissatisfied I am with the electric wheel company. My wife bought the electric scooter from them and they forgot to ship it then they said that they did not receive our money. We went to the bank and found out that the funds indeed were taken and the company was paid. They finally confirmed that the money was taken from our account but we still not received the scooter. They are thieves! What can we do now?

I bought this scooter the first week in June 2018. When it arrived the front brakes did not work. I contacted them for repair, they refused, told me to hire a local repair and pay for it myself. I did and the tech determined the front brake reservoir was EMPTY, and no sign of a leak so it was shipped in this condition. I am seeking an attorney to sue them.
My wife and I bought a motored tricycle from e-wheels back in the summer. Within the 60-day warranty, the spokes came apart on the front wheel while she was riding. She did not place undue stress nor excessive use on this vehicle. They were very nice until the thing was shipped. They've absolutely ignored us since then. We're looking into legal action, since we spent over $1200.
I ordered the E 36 mobility scooter from this company in January..it's now July and I've ridden it exactly one time.
The scooter arrived defective and the manufacturer has been totally uncooperative in resolving this issue. When you call Electric Wheel your call goes directly to voice mail and they never return your call
I am now looking at other legal recourse to resolve this issue.

This article in Columbus Dispatch (he is from there) tells about a $19, 000, 000 judgement against him and another one for $7.9 million judgement. He filed bankruptcy to try to get out of his liabilities. Don't walk from this guy...RUN!
Please do not buy this scooter. I had ordered this scooter last summer and it arrived completely broken. The charger would not charge the battery, the lights didn't work, the speedometer didn't work, and there were nicks and scratches all over it. When I called Ewheels (aka Electric Wheel Store) to try to help me with my scooter, the gentleman who answered the phone would not help me. He was extremely rude, unprofessional, and refused to fix my scooter or replace it under warranty. I had no choice but to dispute the charge with my credit card company and was in a back and forth battle with trying to get my money back for 3 months (which I eventually did). Do NOT be fooled by the looks of this scooter. It is a piece of junk and Ewheels will not help you if you have problems with it. Buyer beware!
My boyfriend who is disabled and I bought one of the ewheels scooters EW-72 from Discover Your Mobility and the speedometer didn't work at first, The scooter was manufactured by Ewheels. they sent us another one and basically told us to repair it. We put the new one in and still didn't work. Now the charger doesn't work and we called this Derek for about the third time and he says only the parts are warranted. So he told me how to take it apart and check the battery. It had a burned wire. So this Derek person says he would send the part but I would have to pay for shipping. We went to the local automotive store and found the exact piece needed and repaired it. It still doesn't work and won't charge. He now has given me two technical repair companies and I tried calling them and all we get is a answering machine. We paid $2500.00 for this and we don't have that kind of money to burn so now what do we do?
the sent the wrong item, waited 9days to finally respond to my 4th email and never responded to all my voice messages, then they said they would refund the difference from the hoverboard I received and from what I ordered they quit responding again and I have yet to see a refund and this was a Christmas present for my son they waited just long enough to respond to where they told me there wasn't enough time to have something shipped to me if they would have respond on the first day like the voice mail says, it would have been no problem they would have still had plenty of time with the holiday delivery ...very disappointed 😔
FYI - EW claims a great warranty - it is bogus. I bought an EW-44 for $3100 3 months ago, after many, many calls for an electric problem, it won't move. They say it is probably a sensor problem and agreed I can call for service from a local company. However, THEY DON'T COVER LABOR! What kind of warranty is that? Do not buy from them. Oregon has very good consumer protection and I intend to file a complaint with several organizations and possibly hire a lawyer to file suit.
Does anyone know the name of the Owner, CEO or President of this company so I can serve him?

Have called 5 or 6 times, have not got return call . Now it said mailbox is full, so no calls back. Bad customer service !
