Elite Custom Painting & Cabinet review: Bid project on wrong house, offer for in-person bid, would not follow up

The estimate was low, however, it did miss several areas of our home.

The Estimate was conducted without visiting the property.

After re-reading the bid, I noticed that it was for my neighbor's house.

I called the company and was asked if I would prefer a person to come to my house and then give me a price for doing the Scope of Work that was available to all parties.

Sometime thereafter while I was in a doctor's office, I noticed a text message, advising that the estimator could come to my house this day. As I live about an hour away from where I was, I called to ask for another time. Within a minute, I got a text advising whoever this guy was that he would call me back.

He never returned the call that he texted he would.

Within an hour, I got another text saying that he believed it was best that we do not work with me, as they have tried several times to contact me to resolve the problem (of bidding on the wrong house).

Elite rates as an outstanding company on Angie's list. That was the only reason I attempted to have them bid on the CORRECT house.

I have no idea who does their in-person quotes; however, he is clearly too busy to do them in person.
