online passport photo
This company is a fraud. When I called the customer service number it was a Google Voice number which is a mask number and this person is taking money from people. I posted my photo via the website and called the drugstore. They advised me there was no photos awaiting for me for passport. So I tried to cancel the transaction via PayPal that was not an option. I sent an email asking them what is the status of my photos and this is what they sent back in the email:

WARNING! do not use this company
inaccurate and poor product
Date of incident: April 1 2017
Secrecy: Like an earlier poster, I also used this company for passport photos. I wondered about ePassportPhoto's insistence on secrecy: "DO NOT MENTION epassportphoto, passport photo, or passport." So, I asked why I shouldn't mention ePassportPhoto when I collected the photos from my pharmacy. A "Paula Davis" at Customer Support wrote back:
"No secrecy. Just from experience if you tell the clerk non-relevant information it more often than not confuses him or her and your pictures will not be found. " Clearly a non-answer.
Bad product: I ordered photos for a UK passport, which has very specific requirements re: measurements and background color. Even though the website claimed they could produce that size, the photos I received were the wrong size --too big.
Also the paper they were printed on was very flimsy and not photo paper quality.
I had to order photos from another company (persofoto --highly recommended) which took a bit longer but were worth the wait.
This is a warning to others: avoid this company!
Update: in fairness, the paper quality was the pharmacy's fault--not ePassportPhoto.
passport photo
Number one, be cautious on the internet when dealing with any business that has NO address and phone number. ePassportPhoto does not have any location on their contact us page, this is a red flag. Number two, what some other businesses are doing, they put their mailing address and 800 free digital number, also this is a red flag. Always do due deligence before even paying out one dollar to anybody.
Paid for the service and never got it

misleading
Horrible customer service. Also, website is misleading. Website makes it extraordinarily difficult to access the "free download" option. At the point of choosing either free download or pay to send to a drugstore, the "tabs" for free download are inactive. The pay to send to drugstore option is highlighted and appears to be the only active option. You have to search and find the small, faint "no thanks" button at the bottom right to get out of the screen that shows both options but will not let you select the free download, you must find the button and say no thanks to paying for the service. I was suckered into paying for the service because I did not see the "no thanks" button. At the screen to choose a drug store I could only choose a name of a drugstore, not a specific address. After I selected a drugstore, there was no further choice, I was told I would receive information when my pic was ready to pick up. I received an email later--the email was not addressed to my name, rather it was addressed to a name I am not familiar (not even close to mine). As well, the pick up address was multple states away. I sent an email to customer service (because there is no other way to contact the company) and received a response that my refund was fulfilled --no apology. I was so irritated by my experience I wrote a letter to customer service expressing my disappointment. The response, "thank you for your feedback." Will not use again.

They took my money and just didn't send the pictures or respond to numerous requests for support. Never again
notryan,
I'm with ePassportPhoto.com and I was sorry to hear about your experience. Thousands of people get passport photos with us every week throughout the last few years - regardless, I can promise you we are working now on improving the site and processes so overall customer experience is better.

I actually had a very easy time with epassportphoto -- I just uploaded my picture to their facebook page, and they let me know what to fix. I ordered the next day and I picked up my photos at CVS, no problems. I'm sorry to hear about your troubles with them!
quality of image
I had read about epassport photo in a magazine, and I thought it would be an easier way to get a passport photo--and one that didn't look quite so bad as usual. I submitted my photo and had it printed at CVS. First thing is that the company does not indicate that you still have to pay for the printing when you go to pick up the photo--and, trust me, for what I paid for it, they could have included the cost of printing. Second, the photo was entirely useable. The color was off and it looked horrible. I had printed the image myself at home (which I would have used but I couldn't get the sizing right). I complained and they told me to resubmit a photo, but after they completely destroyed the first image, I didn't want to waste anymore time and money on their process. Needless to say, I got the sense that the whole thing is just a racket, which probably works for them since you only need a passport photo once every 10 years.

This is a useless company and they charge you money for nothing as you still end up paying cvs the money, because thats all it would cost for the picture to be printed. Customer service is horrible. They charge you money for what you can do yourself, upload the photo to cvs or kodak site to get it printed. They should be investigated and they should refund everyones money. They are just a big scam.
bad experience
This company offers to deliver prints of passport photos through your local Walgreens store, and actually violates Walgreens company policy in the process. We have an infant baby and found it best to take our own passport photos rather than try and get passport photos in a store. So we paid $6.95 through PayPal and went to our local Walgreens to pick up our pictures.
ePassportPhoto sent us this warning in their confirmation e-mail:
"When approaching the Photo Center ask for order # [protected] under the name of EPP LLC (do not mention that your prints are passport photos as a small number of Walgreens employees feel that ePassportPhoto.com is competing with Walgreens may have issues)."
This was a red flag for us and we were told that Walgreens cannot print 3rd party passport photos; they only process in house passport pictures. Obviously ePassportPhoto has a flawed delivery system and is not supported by Walgreens.
We have filed a request for a refund and notified Visa to file a complaint against ePassportPhoto.com. We are posting this complaint on-line in hopes that others do not have to experience the same problem.

My Suggestion: Use another site. Like others, i wish i had 'researched' this site before ordering. I eventually received my photos, but they were not there when promised. i sent several emails to 2 different addresses and received a 'computer reply' acknowledging my email and telling me to go to 'http:// ... with nothing else :( all 3 responses from them said the same thing.
When i called Walmart to pick them up, fortunately the Walmart Associate was diligent, resourceful, and determined. They did not have my name nor the order # given me. She finally found my photos under a different order number and a TOTALLY different name., , , and only found them because she remember she had seen something from epassport and fouond it
Take your business somewhere else !
My main issue is with the quality of the product. They claim to be able to produce UK passport-sized photos and the ones they sent were definitely the wrong size.
ePassportPhoto.com is a total RIPOFF. Charged $12.99 for 8 photos, when I went to Walgreens to pick up the photo, I still had to pay for the print, only got 4 photos on a 4x6.
this is a lousy company. I waited three weeks, then they sent me to a CVS, then the photos were rejected by the state department! Argggh!
I ordered with no problem and picked them up no problem BUT, the pictures were terrible. I looked like a human carrott. All orange. Let them know and never heard back. went to CVS and got four gorgeous pics for a dollar more than I paid epassport. comparison pic attached.
Terrible Experience. They sent my photos to Walgreen's for printing. According to Walgreen's policy they will not print anything that looks like a passport photo. This company has no business relationship with Walgreen's and does not disclose this information when you are placing an order.
As far as I am concerned it is one big SCAM. Filed a claim with Paypal.
www.xpassportphoto.com does it better, your passport will be delivered as promised
epassportphotos is a fraud website . Please do not use this website . They are ripping off everyone
