So, I talked to a lady about my deposit and she was kinda rude
So, I talked to a lady about my deposit and she was kinda rude. I don't get how she still has a job. I'm a boss too and if my people talked like that to customers, they'd be fired. The new company taking over seems like they're not doing a good job. Gonna have to deal with them for 7 more months.
I'm having trouble reaching someone at EPCOR Water
I'm having trouble reaching someone at EPCOR Water. I received a bill and tried calling twice, but no one answered. I was put on hold for a long time and the music stopped playing, but no one came on the line. I also can't access my account online and my emails to their address keep bouncing back. I'm worried because my account wasn't auto-drafted in July and now they want me to pay, but I can't get through to anyone. If my water gets shut off, what am I supposed to do? It's frustrating because the previous company at least answered the phone.
Epcor don't care about fixing their own mistakes
Epcor don't care about fixing their own mistakes. They took over my account from a local utility company and I've been with them for about 6 months. They messed up 4 out of 6 payments. I got an email saying my account is "Cash Only" now. They didn't take money from my checking account 3 times, even though I had enough money. They say they charged me $15 for not having enough money, but they actually charged me $25 each time. I have proof from my bank statements. Now I can only pay in person with cash because of my account status. I told them many times that they messed up the billing, but they don't care about fixing it. It's important to me that I never miss a payment, but Epcor is terrible. The local government brought them in to make things better, but they made it worse. Their process and customer service is awful.
I live in San-Tan and ever since EPCOR Water took over, my bill has gone up a lot
I live in San-Tan and ever since EPCOR Water took over, my bill has gone up a lot. I don't have a pool and I don't water my yard, but my bill keeps going up and I don't know why. They added a PHX fee and they decide every month how much they will charge depending on how much water we use. But every month my bill gets higher with every other change. This month, my bill was really high because of the fee plus my water bill alone is high, plus water treatment fees and so many other charges they keep adding. I'm not sure what EPCOR is doing, but this is not okay. It's not affordable and I can't pay this. If they look at my account, they will see that it's been nothing but high with them since they took over. EPCOR keeps telling me I am behind at one point when I know I never missed a payment. I have my bank statements to prove it. I even offered to go in and bring my statements, but they said no and told me to pay it. I don't have a leak anywhere, so that can't be it. There is no reason my bill should keep going up every month and I shouldn't be charged more than needed or double charged. And when you call EPCOR, you have to wait on hold for an hour or longer. This is not okay!
I'm pretty mad with the runaround, phone tag, and bad treatment I got from these employees at EPCOR Water
I'm pretty mad with the runaround, phone tag, and bad treatment I got from these employees at EPCOR Water. They hung up on me a couple of times, and I think they just didn't want to help me. Maybe they're having a bad day, hate their job, or just mad at the world. Who knows? It's not like I have a choice, though. I need water, and they're the only ones who can give it to me. It's really shameful how they treat their customers. After playing phone tag all day, I finally talked to the supervisor who called me last week. My issues are resolved now, but I'm moving back to my other home soon, so I won't have to deal with these rude employees again. Upper management should know about this terrible behavior. If I acted like that, I'd be fired on the spot. Why should I accept this kind of treatment? I don't!

I tried calling EPCOR Water to get some help with my bill, but no one picked up the phone
I tried calling EPCOR Water to get some help with my bill, but no one picked up the phone. It's frustrating because I had a balance from a previous bill that I paid on August 30th, but now I have two bills that are only 14 days apart. One is from September 1st, and the other is from September 15th, and they both add up to $171.36. I don't understand why I'm getting two bills so close together. My account number is *** and I hope someone can help me figure this out soon.
These guys are a bunch of idiots!
These guys are a bunch of idiots! They got a monopoly and I can't switch to another provider, and they know it! They messed up my account so bad that I can't even log in to pay my bill. They don't even answer the phone, so I'm locked out of my gas account. My email address isn't recognized, so I can't reset anything. And they changed my account number without telling me why, so my old one doesn't work anymore. Can you please light a fire under these [censored]s and get them to start a customer service line with real people who answer the phone? That automated phone system is worthless and will never transfer you to a human!
Epcor took over water stuff from someone else
Epcor took over water stuff from someone else. They stopped my automatic payment in July without telling me. Then they sent out letters with a phone number that puts you on hold for 15 minutes and then hangs up on you. You can't talk to a real person. The website is just as bad. It doesn't work when you try to log in or make a payment. I've been trying to call and log in every week since July. I even emailed them, but they haven't done anything. They say they're open 24/7, but that's not true.

I signed up for water service at my place and EPCOR said it would start on 8/23
I signed up for water service at my place and EPCOR said it would start on 8/23. But then on 9/29, they just shut it off. I called them up and they said my account was never turned on. They didn't even tell me about it, no bills, no emails, no phone calls, nothing. So I had to start it all over again and pay another fee. And now I gotta wait for at least a day before they turn on my meter again. That means nobody in my house can drink or bathe, which is not good for our health. If they had just told me, I wouldn't have had to pay twice and we wouldn't have this health issue.
EPCOR Water done goofed up big time
EPCOR Water done goofed up big time. They sent us a bill that was past our shut off date. We sold our crib and told them to shut off the water on or before August 20th. But their bill said we had water until August 30th. My old lady tried to call them to fix it, but they hung up on her. When she called back, they put her on hold for 35 minutes and then hung up on her again. We expect better from a big company like this. So I called them up and got put on hold too. When someone finally answered, they said "please hold" and then hung up on me when the ringtone came back. No call back or email or nothing. We want this fixed and some compensation for the hour we wasted trying to fix their mistake.
Epcor been charging me wrong water bill for 2 years
Epcor been charging me wrong water bill for 2 years. Meters on my property and next door were switched. I was charged for my neighbor and vice versa. I told them and they're fixing it, but still charging me wrong and want to take it out of our $500 refund. They gave me spreadsheets showing what I should pay but say it's different.

I live in Fountain Hills, AZ and I don't have a choice in the water company we use, so when I got a bill that was way higher than usual, I was pretty upset. My bill is usually between $80 and $120, but this June it was $336! Last June it was $335! I know for a fact that we didn't use that much water. Epcor won't admit that they made a mistake and they treat me like I'm dumb. I'm not dumb! I know my own house and what we use. They just keep saying that we used more water, but that's not true. My client drained and refilled his 18,000 gallon swimming pool and his bill was only $173! There are only two people living in my house and we haven't done anything crazy with water. This bill needs to be fixed or am I going to get a crazy bill every June with no explanation? I think it's fraud!
9/15 EPCOR shut off my water without telling me
9/15 EPCOR shut off my water without telling me. I just bought this place and I tried to get the water service transferred to my name but they didn't answer the phone when I called on 9/7. I sent them an email but they didn't answer that either. I sent another email on 9/13 and they just told me to call the customer service line. I got a voicemail from a number I didn't know on 9/13 but when I called back I was on hold for 25 minutes. I sent another email but they didn't answer that either. On 9/15 my water was shut off and I didn't know why. I tried to call the customer service line but it just hung up on me. I went to their office but it was closed.
I got my first bill from Epcor Water Company in Queen Creek, AZ
I got my first bill from Epcor Water Company in Queen Creek, AZ. It says I gotta pay $128.10 by 10/15. I tried to pay my August bill a few times in August but the other water company was closed and it would send me to Epcor but the system wasn't working. So I called Epcor to pay my first bill of $128.10 due 10/15 but it said I owed $201.77. I waited on hold for 45 minutes and the lady I talked to couldn't explain why I owed the $201.77. She just kept saying that the balance rolled over from the other company. I tried to pay the $201.77 because it said online that I was 3 payments behind. August was $63.21 and September had 2 payments: 9/1 for $69.24 and 9/15 for $74.00. I don't know how I could have 2 water bills for September. Unless they're charging me for October water? I tried to pay over the phone but it kept saying my CVVC # was wrong. I'm mad and I can't get any explanation for why my bill is so high?
Me and my hubby got some rental properties in an undisclosed location
Me and my hubby got some rental properties. We rent them out for like 4-6 months a year and we pay for the utilities and include it in the rent. One of our tenants moved in on Jan 1st and told us that someone from Epcor said that the water was gonna be shut off that day. She asked him to wait until she could talk to us since we pay for the water bills. We talked to Epcor and they said they'd fix it and we'd get billed later for Jan. This property was rented out before from mid April to early Aug by a tenant who paid for his own utilities. He had to leave early due to medical issues and turned off the water service in mid Aug. We didn't have a tenant in there from Aug 11, 2021 until a later date in 2022. We turned on the water again in late Dec to clean the place before the new tenant arrived. So when we got a message from the new tenant in mid Jan about a water shut off, we were surprised. My hubby called Epcor and they admitted to a mistake and assured the water would stay on. But now they're claiming we owe them for Jan 2022 until now, even though we didn't ask for new service until late Dec. We don't owe them for 6 months as they're claiming. We still haven't received a water bill for the recent period and when we called Epcor, they said we owe them from Aug through a later date even though we didn't ask for new service until late Dec.
