I’ll say, Etags is a defrauding company, so please do not do business with this company, save yourself the hassle and go to DMV or AAA in person, at least you’ll be dealing with professionals. Their employees can even speak English, literally they can’t speak English, come on, it’s a total Scam!
I thought I was working with DMV online when Etags phished me online, after them debiting my credit card and noticing the huge charge, I cancelled the whole thing. Once they get your money they literally disappeared and I tried reaching out to their customer service, but I contacted my credit card company in order to have them help to get in touch with these scammers.
Eventually spoke with their customer service, she could barely speak English, and I told her I had cancelled the transaction and I want my money back. It was pretty frustrated when you’re taking to someone who is pretending not to understand, and the only things she knows to say is, don’t worry I will give you back your money, I promise you, I know you need your money, no worries. Very suspicious!
In the end, after numerous attempts to communicate with this individual again. Etags didn’t credit the account as promised, and kept my money. I filed a dispute with my credit card company, and they referred me back to Etags, I currently still disputing this situation with this company and if I do not receive my monies back within 48 hours my next recourse is to file a police report and contact the government officials, these predators need to put a stop to. They are taking advantage of the consumers in order to exploit innocent customers. They need to be held responsible for the damage, they have caused to the consumers.
Therefore, I wouldn’t recommend Etags to anyone. Save yourself a headache. They might seem legitimate DMV at first, but once they have your money, they don’t seem to care about providing any actual professional customer service. Obviously, they’re pretending to be DMV, in order to Scam the public. Save yourself the time and hassle and go to DMV or AAA in person. Do Not Do Business with Etags.

Claimed loss: $17.38

Desired outcome: Credit back my credit card
