Executive Optical review: Rude doctor at SM San Mateo branch

All my contacts are from EO ever since I started using them so I visited their SM San Mateo branch. The contacts I always buy is their colored Flexwear good for 1 year with correction grade.

The assistants that greet visitors are very nice as usual, but one of their doctors are very rude. Me and my companion sat on a bench near the door, and teenagers started flocking inside to try their eyeglasses on display. After 10 mins of waiting, their doctor called my name thrice. So I made a beeline to him. I greeted him politely but he replied with a nagtataray tone "kanina pa kita tinatawag, pang anim na beses na", I said "Sorry doc ang dami pong tao nahirapan po ako dumaan".

So I let it pass but then when he asked me what would I like to get for my contacts, I explained that usually I would just have them mirror my current eyeglasses grade but since I have astigmatism, they would add +50 grade to compensate as they don't have contacts for astigmatism. He then started to raise his tone saying "bahala ka mata mo naman yan (my first name), sinisira mo mata mo, you're not helping your eyes (my first name)" So I was kinda confused on his reaction, I just answered what I usually get from the past EO doctors who examined my eyes when I buy contacts. He asked "sino nagsabi? Anong name nung doctor?" I said "di ko na po maalala pero almost lahat po ng doctors na nakausap ko pag bumibili ng contacts ganun ang ginagawa since wala daw po lenses for astigmatism."

I then asked if they offer contacts for astigmatism now, he then said "oo meron kami, matagal na (my first name)" I then said he's the first doctor to actually tell me that they sell contacts for astigmatism. So I said I'd like to avail if that's what the best for me, he then started saying "15 years na ko sa Megamall, then napunta ako sa SM North, I am telling you, you're not helping your eyes. Baka naman nagmamadali ka lagi bumili kaya di mo inaavail yung astigmatism lenses namin," he sounded hysterical at this point to the point where other customers are looking at us already. I replied "no po, usually yung contacts ko po is laging preorder since my grade is 400+ already, and wala naman po kaso sakin kahit medyo mas mahal yung astigmatism lens," this is the only time he calmed down.

So when I thought he was gonna prescribe me the astigmatism contacts, he asked what color (for Flexwear contacts) I am going to buy. So at this point, I got more confused. It seemed to me like he just wanted to "magtaray" for just the sake of that, but then he will just prescribe me the one he's protesting?

I just don't have the energy to deal with these kind of people, if I do I would have asked to be endorsed to another doctor. I'd say this doctor is very unprofessional and rude. They still deal with customers and what I experienced is far from a good customer service.
