Love the lenses
I bought about 5 pairs of different lenses from them. Mostly progressives with transitions. If you buy progressive lenses opt for the Shamir and pay the extra. They're as good as some of the more expensive Varilux. Don't buy the cheaper progressives! You'll be sorry! Also I have to say Megan and Kaylia are really great at solving problems. It's a big business and sometimes they are overwhelmed. But if you want quality Shamir lenses, it's all worth it. I only had one problem and the ladies I mentioned took care of it asap. Megan who is one of the managers had my problem fixed and replaced in a week! Love these guys!
Old Frames - New Glasses!
I have worn glasses since 4th grade, and trust me that was A LONG time ago. I recently had cataract surgery and no longer need anything other reading glasses. I have some frames that I love, and I heard about Lensabl so I thought I would give them a try. I sent off a pair of frames and everything worked smoothly and easily. I had a few questions once my glasses were received, and the Lensabl service person answered right away. I have a few more frames that I will send to them. I think it is a great service, and they are very attentive and service-driven.
Very attentive and interested in making sure I am satisfied.
A big thank you
As my eye sight changed I faced the prospect of tossing out the glasses and frames I so enjoyed, and then I found out about Lensabl. In that I no longer had to start all over finding frames that I liked and engendering the cost for those, Lensable was such I great idea and financial savings. My experience has been great and I have shared it with friends and acquaintances who may be in the same situation. Lensabl's service has been great. I don't often write reviews for products or services I've received - but my experience (for two pair of glasses) has been more than I expected. Without question or hesitation I would recommend this company. (In fact I'm waiting for them to grow and go public so I can purchase their stock.)

So grateful
I had custom prescription lenses made for my Bose frames by Lensable. They were great, but after several months of wearing them they suddenly developed lines in the lenses that gave me headaches after prolonged wearing. I contacted Lensable and asked if that might be covered by the extended warranty I had bought (as I had everything shipped to Canada, I wanted to be covered for every eventuality).
Not only did Lensable re-do my order at no cost, they even shipped them for free to my home. My new lenses are incredible! Just in time, for summer arrived here yesterday (my lenses adjust to sunlight). Communication with the Lensable team was also outstanding. No fuss, no hassle, just great customer service. A big shout out to Jove & the entire team at Lensable. You guys are awesome

Very impressed
I had these sweet old frames from American Optical kicking around, and when Lensabl was running their leap year sale, I knew it was time. It was super easy to input my prescription and order the lenses, and a box showed up in the mail a few days later with my return address on it. I sent the glasses in, and shortly received an email stating that since the frames were old (60+ years) and fragile (14k gold filled and bakelite) that we ran a risk putting my lenses in. They asked if I wanted to accept the risk at no cost should things not work out, or send some other frames in. I said GO AHEAD! About two weeks later I got the nicest pair of glasses I've ever owned in the mail. My cool vintage frames with real thin, high quality lenses in them. I didn't know my myopic eyes could ever get such thin index lenses. These glasses are tight, lightweight, and well done. Can't wait to get the next pair done.
Issue was resolved
I placed an order on their site in early January. Lenses for Amazon frames. After they charged my credit card and no response after three weeks I put a message on their site. They said to send an order confirmation. I had not received that. They then said there was nothing they could do and had no record of my order or payment. I sent them a copy of my credit card transaction and they said they did not have record of my payment and told me to take it up via my credit card company. I even called and got the same answer. My credit card company gave me a credit. They emailed me 2-3 weeks after that initial email exchange saying they finally found my payment but I told them I didn't want anything more from them. They said I never placed an order but I told them I did and even uploaded my prescription. Be careful with this company and make sure you keep on top of them even if they said you never paid!

The lenses are remarkable, great workI couldnt be more pleased.
My husband and I both love our new Bose Audio Sunglasses. The prescriptions are right on and the sound is amazing.
My glasses arrived weeks later than promised with no updates. The glasses are nice, I believe they are what I paid for.

They are wonderful, they fit perfectly! The wait was a little long but well worth it.
This is my second pair of prescription sunglasses, and I am beyond pleased with the results, customer service, and quality of the glasses. *** saved so much money on these prescription sunglasses compared to where I was previously getting them before. The process for choosing the lenses and ordering the lenses is extremely simple , the website is very user friendly.
Amazing as always! I sent in some sunglasses to get prescription lenses put in and Lensabl did an amazing job, as usual! I will always continue to use them!
I like my new lenses. They are everything I hoped they would be.
Lensabl began making prescription lenses for Bose sunglasses around the beginning of December
Lensabl began making prescription lenses for Bose sunglasses around the beginning of December. Being that I wear Rx lenses, the original non-rx Bose frames weren't going to work for me. When I learned that they were now going to be available with a Rx, I was thrilled. I immediately ordered a pair and just received them yesterday. They are awesome. Bose chose well when they partnered with Lensabl. They did a phenomenal job and kept me updated through the whole process. They even sent me back the original non-rx lenses that come with the frames. Job well done Lensabl.
I was pleased with the lens replacement and how easy it was.
I received my glasses as promised. It is my second pair of eyeglasses that I ordered at lensabl.com and I am totally satisfied.
Im very happy with my new lens. It saved me a lot of money. The optometrists office would have charged me 3 times as much. Will use Lensabl again.
I am so happy about getting new lens in old frames! It made my day and week, as soon as I got them. I love these glasses and I am super happy with my end product. Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU Lensabl Team!
Great customer service and experience
Great customer service and experience. I needed new lenses in older prescription frames and Lensabl did a fabulous job putting in reader lenses in one frame and sunglass lenses in another. The quality of the lenses is fabulous but even better was one of the frames was very bent/out of shape. I asked if during the process if they could straighten out the frame arms and voila they did that as well. The frames are as good as new. Also love that the glasses were returned in new cases with both a cleaner and a cleaning cloth. I would definitely use Lensabl again if I need to.
I had a pair of 1950's retro cat eye sunglasses
I had a pair of 1950's retro cat eye sunglasses. I needed new lenses with my progressive bifocal prescription added to the old frames. None of the major retail lens stores would touch my "ancient" frames! I reached out to Megan at Lensabl's Customer Care Team and she advised me remotely with the help of photographs and the internet. I ordered the frames she suggested, mailed my old glasses to them and within 2 weeks had my new lenses added to my old beloved frames! It was a great experience, reasonable priced lenses, forms for my insurance, friendly and professional help from Megan.
I had an expensive pair of frames that I loved
I had an expensive pair of frames that I loved. I shopped various glasses places to replace the lens with progressive so that I could read my Teslas computer screen which was 2 feet away from me in the drivers seat. LensCrafters was going to charge me over $400. But with Lensable, I was able to get my new progressive lenses for $177. What a deal! I was able to send the lenses easily and got them back in perfect shape. The packaging was also nice with a new case and even a cleaning kit. I would definitely recommend them going forward. So happy with my new glasses and they work perfectly!
I have ordered both replacement lenses for older frames (two pairs, both progressives), and two pairs of sunglasses
I have ordered both replacement lenses for older frames (two pairs, both progressives), and two pairs of sunglasses with their frames. The cost was unbeatable, and I saved hundreds of dollars, plus I was happy to re-use my older frames. Service was excellent, and I had quick responses to my inquiries; one order was delayed as the frame I wanted was initially out of stock, and they sent my order by express delivery once they were able to fill it. The quality of the lenses is excellent, and their in-house frames is very good. Overall, I would certainly recommend the company, as they offer high value and they're responsive.
I was very satisfied with every aspect of the process of getting my prescription put into my new frames
I was very satisfied with every aspect of the process of getting my prescription put into my new frames. I also sent a second pair of sunglasses to be used for another set of lenses with different features. I was grateful that a representative from the company contacted me to confirm the details for each pair of glasses in my order before they were made. They even expedited both pairs without charging me extra. One pair was sent back for a final quality check before shipping, and I was informed about it. There was a slight delay, but it probably prevented a lot of frustration. The workmanship was of great quality and the customer service was excellent.
you guys have done 2 pair of prescription glasses for me using my own frames that i sent in
you guys have done 2 pair of prescription glasses for me using my own frames that i sent in. they turned out perfect. i tried getting them done here in san antonio but 4 different labs that i went to said they could not do them because the frames were too curved (rayban Balorama frames). and also i could'nt beleive the price 277.00 . the one place here in town that said they might be able to do them said they would have to send them to another lab and they would cost me almost 500.00. so all in all i am very satisfied with both of my pair of glasses. this is where i will be getting my glasses from now on, even though i have to send them all the way to california it is well worth it, and the turn around time great. thanks guys.
Stay away from Lensabl for lens replacement
I can't speak to their other services. However, I strongly recommend not using Lensabl for lens replacement. Based on Lensabl's website and estimated timeframe, my glasses should have been on their way back last week. They received my glasses on Feb 1st. Since then the order status says that they should ship within 6 days. It still says that today. I contacted the company for an update on February 6th. At the time, I was told that they would ship out within 6 days. Unfortunately, they found an quality issue in their process and had to remake the lenses.
I contacted them again today and they still have no idea of the status.
There is no phone number or way to speak with a supervisor.
They won't return my glasses.
Lots of other options.
Recommendation: Don't use Lensabl.
Wrong prescription and Dishonesty
I have been going through Lensable for a few years. Uploading prescription has always been confusing. Turns out your uploaded prescriptions tab and add saved prescription, is worthless. Rudy at Lensabl CS said it's for your information, it's not usable with ordering.
This time I purchased 1 computer/reading bifocal glasses and one distance mirrored polarized sunglasses. I accidently uploaded my computer/reading glasses to my sunglasses as well instead of my distance prescription. I was a bit confused on why I couldn't add my saved prescription and I guess got confused when I uploaded.
Even though the prescription says (For Use: Computer) and that it was a (+) sphere for farsightedness, Rudy at Lensabl customer service Falsely and tactlessly told me that I was wrong and claimed that (+) Sphere is not always farsighted and (-) Sphere is not always nearsighted, and that is why they didn't flag the order. When it Literally does mean that.
So, the "trained lab tech," saw an order for distance, and a prescription for seeing close up with (+) sphere on sunglasses and said, yep that looks good, no need to question.
Rudy treated me like a child while spouting inaccurate claims then said the best they can do is 25% off lens replacement. So they want me to pay $350 for one pair of sunglass lens, when this issues was a mistake on both me and the lab? I told them to deactivate my account. I got exactly the same lenses at a cheaper price than with lensabl's 25% off at Lensdirect plus better review rates.
Recommendation: Lensdirect has better reviews and prices
Lensabl.com Review: Convenient Online Lens Ordering with a Few Tech Hiccups
I recently used Lensabl.com on my mobile phone and overall, it was a pretty good experience. However, I did encounter a couple of issues that made the process a bit frustrating. For instance, when I tried to scroll up to review my input, it seemed like my phone registered it as a swipe to go back. I'm not sure if this is an option on my new phone or if it was a glitch on the site, but it caused me to go back to the upload prescription page. Unfortunately, the page loaded large and to the left, so I could only see the right 30-40% of the page. I couldn't zoom out or scroll sideways, so I had to push the actual back button and start over. It seemed like anytime I wanted to go back a page in my options, I had to start over.
Another issue I had was with the display where the prices are at the top of the page. The prices update when you change lens options, but the display was gray and not highlighted. I kept forgetting it was there, which was a bit frustrating. However, when I did see it, it was good!
Overall, I had a pretty good experience with Lensabl.com. I'm not sure if the tech problem was with the site, my browser (Chrome for Android on Samsung), or something else. But despite these issues, I was able to order my lenses and they arrived quickly. I would recommend Lensabl.com to others who are looking for an easy and convenient way to order lenses online.
Review of Lensabl: Satisfied with Purchase, but Ordering Process Could be Smoother
I've been a loyal customer of Lensabl for quite some time now, and I've ordered a lot of stuff from them over the years. However, my recent order got a little bit complicated. I tried to order a lens that apparently doesn't exist, but the ordering software allowed me to do so. I was surprised when I received a message from Customer Service asking about a substitution. We had to exchange a few messages to sort it out, but eventually, we managed to resolve the issue.
Then, I realized that my RX was missing some information, but I only found out about it when I logged in and saw that my order was on hold. I had never been asked to provide this information before, but I understood that it was necessary to ensure the most accurate RX possible. So, I provided the missing information and waited for my order to be processed.
However, when I checked the status of my order again, it was still on hold. I was a bit confused and frustrated, so I contacted Customer Service to inquire about the delay. As it turned out, my lenses were already on their way, and I received them a few days later. I was relieved to see that the RX was perfect, and I was happy with the quality of the lenses.
In the end, everything worked out fine, and I am grateful to everyone who did their job. However, I couldn't help but feel that the whole process could have been smoother and faster if the ordering software had caught some of the miss-matched options and missing information. Despite the minor hiccups, I'm still satisfied with my purchase and will continue to use Lensabl for my eyewear needs.
Avoid Lensabl: Terrible Customer Service and Long Wait Times for Lenses
I had a pretty bad experience with Lensabl (lensabl.com). To sum it up, they lied to me and it took them six weeks to get me my lenses. I shipped two sets of frames to them, but they claimed they only received one. They spent days "looking" for the missing frames, but eventually told me they needed to buy replacements. I had to send photos of myself in the "lost" frames and spend time picking out a replacement since they were no longer available.
After they told me they ordered the replacement frames, I didn't hear from them for a few weeks. I had to follow up with them and they said they received the replacement frames and would send them out right away. But a few more weeks went by and I had to follow up with them again. This time, they told me they needed additional prescription information. I sent it in and waited for two more weeks.
Finally, I received the original frames that they claimed were lost and replaced. I'm not sure if they just don't have their act together or if they intentionally extend timelines on customers when they get backlogged. But I'm not the only person who had a bad experience with them.
I would advise avoiding Lensabl. There are plenty of other places to get lenses made for your frames. It's not worth the headache.

Replacement lenses
It took 3 tries and over 2 months to get my replacement lens order! It took over a month to get my order the first time. The website order tracker was totally inaccurate as it kept saying my glasses would ship "in 5-6 business days" with no movement through their various productions stages for several weeks in a row then all of a sudden had shipped. The...

I recently tried out Lensable, an online eyewear retailer that promises to deliver within 6 days. However, my experience was far from satisfactory. My order took three times as long to arrive, and when I called to track my order, I was kept waiting for over 20 minutes. When I finally got through to customer service, they told me to send an email or follow up on my Lensable account. Unfortunately, email responses were delayed by 2 or more days, and some of my inquiries were never even answered.
I usually use Eyebuy.com for my eyewear needs, but I decided to give Lensable a try because my frame (Bose Tempo) required special lenses. However, I found that customer service was unhelpful in obtaining certain lens measurements. They couldn't explain the measurements or why they were needed, which left me feeling frustrated and confused.
When my order finally arrived, I was disappointed to find that the final lens provided was of barely average quality. Overall, I was highly dissatisfied with my experience with Lensable, and I will not be using their services again. If you're looking for a reliable online eyewear retailer, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
Disappointing Experience with Lensabl: Poor Quality and Customer Service
I had a pretty bad experience with Lensabl. I sent in my new frames to get prescription lenses put in, and at first they seemed fine. However, after a few weeks, one of the lenses fell out of the frame. I was pretty disappointed, so I sent them back to Lensabl to get fixed.
When I got them back, I noticed that the right lens wasn't secure in the frame anymore. It was rocking back and forth a bit, which was definitely not how they were when I first got them back. I was pretty frustrated at this point, so I sent them back again at my own expense.
But this time, when I got them back, I was really disappointed. They hadn't done anything to fix the problem. The lenses were still rocking in the frame, and to make matters worse, they hadn't included any old lenses in the return shipment. This meant that they hadn't replaced the lens at all.
I was really upset at this point, and I asked for my money back. Unfortunately, they told me that they couldn't give me a refund. I was pretty disappointed, so I decided to say goodbye to Lensabl.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend Lensabl. They didn't seem to do a very good job with my glasses, and they didn't seem to care about fixing the problem. If you're looking for a good place to get prescription lenses, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Lensabl: Delayed Response and Defective Lenses
I recently had an experience with Lensabl that left me feeling a bit frustrated. I ordered replacement lenses for my Bose sunglasses, but unfortunately, when they arrived, they were not trimmed properly and did not fit my frames. I was disappointed, but I figured it was just a simple mistake and decided to reach out to Lensabl for assistance.
I tried calling them on the phone, but was told that I would have to contact them through e-mail instead. So, I sent them an e-mail explaining my situation and waited for a response. However, after waiting for 96 hours without a reply, I began to feel a bit anxious. I tried contacting them several times by phone, but unfortunately, I was unable to get through to anyone.
At this point, I was starting to feel a bit frustrated. I didn't want to have to go through the hassle of returning the lenses and waiting for new ones to be made, but it seemed like Lensabl was unwilling to address my issue. So, I decided to call my credit card company and reverse the charges.
To my surprise, it was only after I contacted my credit card company that I finally received a response from Lensabl. They provided me with a return label to send back the defective lenses and promised to make new ones for me. However, it has been a few weeks now and I still have not received the replacement lenses.
Overall, my experience with Lensabl was not great. While I appreciate that they eventually responded to my issue, it took a lot of effort on my part to get them to do so. I would have preferred if they had been more responsive from the beginning and had taken steps to ensure that my replacement lenses were made and shipped out to me in a timely manner.
Lensabl Review: Great Quality Lenses, Easy Process, But Communication Needs Improvement
However, once I received my glasses, I was very happy with the quality of the lenses. They were exactly what I needed and the prescription was spot on. The frames were also in great condition and fit perfectly. I appreciate the option to send in my own frames and the process was very easy.
One thing I would suggest for Lensabl is to improve their communication with customers. It would be helpful to receive more frequent updates on the status of the order, especially if there are delays or issues. Additionally, it would be great if the website was updated in real-time so customers can track their order without having to call in.
Despite the communication issues, I would still recommend Lensabl to others. The quality of the lenses and the convenience of sending in my own frames make it a great option for anyone in need of new glasses. Just be prepared to follow up on your order and don't rely solely on the website for updates.
Lensabl Review: Good Lenses, But Communication Needs Improvement
So, I recently got some new lenses for my glasses from Lensabl. I was pretty excited to get them, but it ended up taking almost two months to get the lenses I wanted. Apparently, they had some trouble making the lenses for my frame, so they sent me an email asking if I was okay with getting different lenses. Unfortunately, I didn't see the email, and the next time they reached out to me was a whole month later! I mean, seriously? A whole month? I know I should have seen the first email, but come on, guys. You could have saved both of us a lot of time if you had followed up with me sooner.
Anyway, I finally saw the second email, approved the changes, and got my frames back with the new lenses about two weeks later. And I have to say, I'm pretty happy with the lenses themselves. They seem to be good quality and they work well with my prescription.
But overall, I have to say that I wasn't too thrilled with the process it took to get these lenses. I mean, I understand that things can go wrong and there can be delays, but it just seemed like there wasn't enough communication from Lensabl about what was going on. And waiting a whole month before following up with me? That's just not cool.
So, while I'm happy with the end result, I'm not sure if I would use Lensabl again in the future. I think I would want to find a company that has better communication and can get things done in a more timely manner. But if you're not in a rush and don't mind waiting a while, then maybe Lensabl could work for you. Just be prepared for some delays and make sure you check your emails regularly!
Disappointing Experience with Lensabl: Slow Fulfillment, Poor Communication, and Unusable Lenses
So, I recently tried out Lensabl to get new lenses for my Bose Tempo glasses. Unfortunately, I messed up the order and ended up with unusable lenses. But, to be fair, Lensabl did let me know early on that there was a quality issue and that my order would be delayed. However, they didn't explain what the issue was, which was a bit frustrating.
To make matters worse, it took a whopping 6 weeks for my order to be fulfilled, when it was supposed to take only 2 weeks. I think the lab technician should have realized that I had ordered the wrong thing and Lensabl should have reached out to me to clarify the situation. I mean, if they're all about quality, shouldn't that be part of their basic service?
Overall, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with Lensabl and ended up losing some money. The responses I got from their customer service team were slow and seemed canned, which didn't help matters. In fact, it wasn't until I followed up with them that my order was finally fulfilled.
All in all, I think Lensabl has some work to do in terms of customer service and communication. While I appreciate their commitment to quality, I think they need to do more to ensure that their customers are getting what they need and that they're kept in the loop throughout the process.
Lensabl Review: A Total Disaster - Stay Away from This Company at All Costs
So, I heard about this company called Lensabl (lensabl.com) that claims they can put prescription sun tinted lenses into your existing frames. I was pretty excited about it, because I love my frames and I wanted to be able to wear them in the sun without having to switch to a different pair of glasses. But let me tell you, this company is a total disaster.
I've been dealing with them for four months now, and it's been a train wreck from start to finish. The process they use to take the existing lenses out and put in the new ones is just terrible. They bend the frames in a way that causes the lenses to function incorrectly, and they don't seem to care at all about the damage they're causing.
I sent my frames back to them, hoping they could fix the problem, but they just broke my original frames that belonged to me. And to make matters worse, they refused to refund my money and instead asked to replace the broken frames. I was pretty upset about this, but I decided to give them another chance.
Four months later, I finally got the replacement frames, and let me tell you, they were a mess. The lenses were untinted, the prescription was wrong, and the frames were bent again. I couldn't believe it. This company shouldn't be allowed to continue to operate. They are the epitome of bait and switch.
So, if you're thinking about giving Lensabl your money or your frames, I would strongly advise against it. They are a total disaster, and they will only cause you frustration and disappointment. Stay away from this company at all costs.
Disappointing Experience with Lensabl: Long Wait, Unexpected Costs, and Poor Customer Service
I recently signed up for a Lensabl membership and was disappointed to find out that they dropped a 20% off coupon just three days later. I tried reaching out to their customer service team through the form on their website to ask about a price adjustment, but unfortunately, I never received a response.
Despite this setback, I decided to order a pair of progressive lenses from Lensabl. I opted for the "premium" progressive lens and added a mirrored Transitions coating, which I really like. However, this upgrade came at an additional cost of $180, which I wasn't expecting.
To make matters worse, it took around a month to receive my glasses due to the Transitions coating. While Lensabl does warn customers about this on their website, I still found it to be a long wait.
When I finally received my glasses, I was pleased to find that the segment height was fine and the overall quality was good. However, given the amount of money and time involved in getting them, I can't say that I'm overly impressed.
All in all, I don't think I'll be ordering from Lensabl again in the future. Additionally, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone I know, especially given my experience with their customer service. I even emailed them about a price adjustment and never got a response, which was frustrating.
Mixed Experience with Lensabl: Quality Lenses, Frustrating Website and Order Status Page
I had some trouble with the website, as it wasn't very clear what information was needed and where to upload it. Even though I uploaded everything that was asked for, I was still asked to upload more information. It was frustrating, but I managed to upload my PD image elsewhere and let customer service know where to find it.
The order status page on my account wasn't very helpful either. It didn't update very well, and I was left wondering what was going on with my order. When I contacted customer service to ask about the shipping date, I was told that my glasses had already been shipped days ago, but my account page didn't show that it had been shipped.
Despite these issues, I am happy with the lenses that I received. They are of good quality and fit well. The customer service representative that I spoke with was very helpful and responsive. However, it would have been nice if the website was more user-friendly and if the order status page was more accurate.
Overall, I would recommend Lensabl to others, but with the caveat that they may encounter some issues with the website and order status page. If they do encounter any issues, they should contact customer service for assistance.
Lensabl Review: Terrible Customer Service and Long Wait Times for Glasses
from Lensabl customer service. I ordered my glasses in early December and was told it would only take 5-7 days to complete. However, a few days later, I received an email stating that my frames had been broken. I was given two options: either send them a link to where I purchased my frames or order frames from their site. I decided to order frames from their site since the representative made it seem like they had them in stock.
After two weeks had passed, I contacted Lensabl again to inquire about the status of my order. The representative informed me that the frames were out of stock and that they would have to order more. I was confused as to why they didn't order more frames when I initially asked for them. Weeks passed, and I reached out to them again, only to be told that the frames had been ordered and would take at least a week to arrive.
A few weeks later, I contacted them again, and they informed me that the frames would be ordered and would take a week to arrive. It took them a total of two months to complete my glasses, which is an unacceptable amount of time to wait for a simple pair of glasses. To make matters worse, I ordered smart glasses from them, and they sent me my glasses without a charger, making those frames completely useless.
I strongly advise anyone considering using Lensabl to think twice. This place is a scam, and their customer service is terrible. They give repeat copy and paste responses that don't address the issue at hand. It's clear that they don't care about their customers and are only interested in making a quick buck. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere for your glasses.
I purchased lenses with a scratch protection warranty, which needed to be fulfilled
I purchased lenses with a scratch protection warranty, which needed to be fulfilled. After receiving the replacements, I noticed they were of poor quality and did not fit properly inside my frames. The initial pair had no such problems. Now, the company wants me to send in my frames again for the repair and I do not see a rational reason for this. All Bose Tenor frames are identical, and I even confirmed they have not warped by comparing them with a new pair. In a previous email, one of Lensabl's agents confirmed this when she told me I would not have to keep sending them in each time I created an order. I use these frames daily with other lenses and do not wish to go without them because of a quality control error this company made. I have asked for an alternative resolution and Lensabl seems unwilling to offer one, not even providing any accommodation for this headache. Just send me a corrected pair please like the ones I had initially. Alternatively, I would really like to upgrade to Trivex lenses, and would be willing to pay the difference from the polycarbonate ones I initially had. If I really have to send them in again (which I still don't understand why that would be), please upgrade them to this material at no cost to me or instead offer me a reasonable discount to purchase these and sunglass lenses in the near future. I have become very frustrated with all this, but I am willing to give you guys another try if my issue is resolved. Thank you.
I purchased the glasses online on April 8, 2022 with full payment and sent them my frame. It has been almost two months now, I am still waiting to receive my order. It seems they misplaced my frame and now they are not responding to my emails. I cannot function without my eyeglasses and this company is not bothered at all. I have a feeling this is a scam. I have sent them a designer expensive lens. They are not returning my frame and the money I paid for the glasses. I don't know what to do. They have no phone number listed on their website. I am attaching the receipt of my payment for the glasses only ( my frame is with them).
On December 31, prescription lenses were ordered for my sunglasses at a cost of $150.45 after discount. The order number is omitted for privacy. The lenses provided by Lensabl were not finished properly, exhibiting rough edges that appeared cracked and were forcibly fitted into my Oakley sunglass frames. Additionally, the lenses had thickness inconsistencies. The glasses became completely unusable as the lenses altered the shape of the frames, causing the glasses to slip off my head due to a significant change in arm width by over 30mm with the lenses installed.
When I requested a refund or a return merchandise authorization, they declined, offering only to remake the lenses, which I declined due to the poor quality of the initial lenses. Despite my instructions not to send another pair of lenses, they proceeded to do so without my consent and subsequently charged my credit card a second time. My original lenses, which were not damaged, were not returned to me, effectively being retained by Lensabl without my permission. I requested the return of the original lenses or a refund. A manager responded by saying, 'By sending us your frames with existing lenses in them, you acknowledge that Lensabl is not liable for any damage done to the existing lenses.' However, the issue was not damage; it was that my original lenses were never returned. In summary, I was charged twice for lenses that I cannot use and do not want, and my original high-quality Prizm polarized lenses were kept without any effort from their team to resolve the situation or work with me as a customer.
I purchased a pair of $*** lenses less than a year ago, and i made sure to pay extra for a 12 month extended warranty just in case the lenses got scratched or damaged. Recently the lenses did end up getting scratched, but the company has refused to replace them as the warranty only covers "scratches made during normal use" and does *notcover damage caused by impacts, abrasions, or improper care (i.e. the only things that could possibly cause damage to lenses). Basically, unless the scratches magically appeared out of nowhere for no discernible reason whatsoever, the extended warranty will not cover the damage. Had i known that the warranty specifically excluded every possible cause of lens damage, i obviously would not have purchased it to begin with and would have likely bought the lenses from a different company altogether.
I sent my frames to lensabl to have progressive lenses installed. They confirmed receipt of the frames on May 9, 2022, but have not yet returned them to me. They have provided several unreasonable explanations for the delay, including an unfounded claim that I failed to upload my segment height photo, despite my having done so on April 30, 2022, when I placed the order. Subsequently, they mentioned an ambiguous 'problem' that apparently required them to restart the process. Currently, they are withholding a correct invoice that I need for verification purposes. They have included a protection plan in the invoice that I never requested and am unable to pay for with my health savings account. Additionally, they are applying a discount to the invoice that I never actually received. In essence, they are issuing me an inaccurate invoice, which could lead to the suspension of my health savings account card due to these discrepancies.

On the 28th of February I sent out a pair of glasses to have lenses put in. And since this I still have not received my glasses When I contacted them on the 9th of march they stated I need to pay more for better lenses and when I said no I wanted them back and a full refund the said NO I still do not have my glasses nor a refund. I have contacted them several times after that and they keep saying # days and no I can't have a refund nor will they give me back my gkasses
The lab received my glasses off 2/28 - I did provide all the necessary information to the lab to complete the order but upon logging into the website later I saw they wanted more info around PD. So I uploaded a pic of my face as requested. Then again a week later I saw they still were missing PD info which was upsetting. Especially because they don't inform you of anything. You constantly have to check your self. It's now been 3 weeks. I really did not think it would take this long. Looking at their Twitter and Complaintsboard.com this is a very common issue and I'm surprised a class action lawsuit hasn't started against them. There are a lot of customers like me that would have never chose Lensabl if they knew the turnaround was not what they claim and advertise. I live in Los Angeles and honestly if I don't get my glasses by next week I'm just going to go to your office in North Hollywood or I'm going to look into getting a lawyer who can represent class action lawsuits because they're are a lot of people on Twitter with the same exact issue. Please get your business in order. This is not okay. I'm still waiting on my glasses.
I ordered prescription sunglass lenses from Lensabl. I sent them new Gucci frames. Lensabl charged me approximately $170 for the lenses. They never arrived. The post office (USPS) confirmed they were mis-delivered. Lensabl chooses the mail carrier. I asked for my money back because I received nothing. I sent them all confirming documentation from the post office. I was told because the lenses are custom, they do not offer refunds. I sent them $300 frames and paid $170 for lenses and got nothing. This is absurd.
Ordered sunglass lenses that were to be polarized and with a blue mirror finish. the lenses did not have the blue mirror finish and don't know if they were even polarized. Sent the company a picture but they do not want to do anything to resolve my issue.

Lensabl - No Updates on Frames Since 1/15 Lensabl has not been able to provide any updates on the status of my frames that I sent to their company since I first requested an update on 1/15. The 'Account Information' section of the website contains information that cannot possibly be true - the site claims the lab received my frames weeks before I ever sent them. My fear is that the lack of updates is due to the company losing my frames. I am also concerned that Lensabl removed my inquiry from their social media account in an obvious attempt give the appearance that there are no concerns about potential fulfillment of their lenses services to the curious consumer. I am also curious if the delays and complete lack of responsiveness are designed to run out the clock on my Regulation E rights and my ability to perform a chargeback with the merchant. I understand that we are in a pandemic and that there may be production delays, but the complete lack of responsiveness, falling outside of their own published SLAs for both lens delivery and customer response combined with the website containing delivery confirmation that cannot possibly be true - is leading me to believe the company lost my frames. This purchase process started way back on 12/13 - and if I had known that it would be near *** impossible to get ANY accurate updates through either self-service options or through customer service, I would have NEVER made such a large purchase (four sets of lenses).
Lensabl.com offers several options for replacement lenses. Lensabl stated on their web site that the "1.74 Index" is thinnest and lightest option. I selected the "1.74" option, but they turned out to be about double-thicker than my existing "1.67 index" lenses. Lensabl's explained "At your prescription strength, it does make sense that 1.67 (or 1.66) index lenses would be thinner." I believe they either used wrong material or provided misleading info. Either way it's their mistake.
I sent in my glasses to fill an updated prescription. Leasabl charges for the service upfront. After weeks of waiting, Leasabl informed me that their lab cannot properly manufacture my prescription lens. I requested the return of my glasses and a refund of the amount charged to me. Leasabl refuses to return my glasses or issue any refund.
I submitted my glasses to have single vision lenses put in on February 7th. I followed the prompts online yet when it came to choosing single vision it wouldn't let me, so I made the notification that I wanted single vision only and if someone could please correct the selection from progressive to single vision. I received an email about how to purchase and select but it still didn't change selection, once my full payment of $277 was cleared, I submitted several emails to check on my order to be sure they understood I wanted single vision only. A representative from their company says I was sent a confirmation showing progressive lenses, I had in good faith that they understood the problem with the selection part and were making my lenses as I stated in the beginning. Now I have a pair of glasses I can't wear and according to this representative, I am out of my $277. Please help me, I was even willing to send them back for a redo trusting them again to fix my lenses to how I wanted them Single vision. Today I am still emailing the representative trying to get my lenses corrected but all he says is we cannot refund your money but I can offer 15% off to make another pair!
I purchased prescription lenses for two pairs of my frames through Lensabl order # XXXXXXXXX. I also purchased a 1 year extended warranty through the company to cover my lenses getting scratched. I purchased the highest quality lenses as well. On one pair of lenses on January 3rd I noticed my lenses on one lens was completely scratched on the top and when I reached out to Lensabl they denied me coverage and instead offered 25% off MSRP. I had covered through January 26th 2022. I was out of the country with limited internet access and as soon as I was back I filed my requrest which was denied. I am asking for the one lens to be replaced. They are not honoring what was promised through my purchased extended warranty. I also would not have gotten the highest quality lens that claims it is scratch resistant. Less than a year later and I have heavy amount of scratches on one of the lenses. I believe that one lens is defective.
Company has not issued me a refund for lenses they sent me without Crizal Certification
Company has not issued me a refund for lenses they sent me without Crizal Certification. Crizal Prevencia coated prescription lenses were ordered from Lensabl on November 18th. On December 5, I received these lenses in the mail without any Crizal certification card. These lenses are tinted purple which was not something that I ordered. I also saw colored dots in my line of vision when wearing these on a sunny day and driving. I could not see due to these dots in my vision which has to be caused by incorrect coating, extremely dangerous. I do not trust this company in providing me with the authentic properly coated Crizal lenses that I ordered because of this experience and have requested a full refund within 5 business days due to these issues on December 5th. On December 6 I received a response from a customer service rep who said that they would reach out to the lab to see what was done to the lenses first before seeing what the next steps are. It is now December 17 and I have not received any response or refund for this purchase. It is clear that this company does not care about the quality of their products or their customer service. I am the consumer and I am requesting a refund, a lab report does not mean that I have the correctly coated lenses if they did not come with a certification card when I received them. So I am again requesting a refund for the full $187.60 for these lenses which cannot be worn due to safety issues as well as the incorrect coating which is not what I ordered.
In early Jan 2022 I purchased replacement lenses from Lensbl.com. I had thought they came with the feature of darkening while driving. I emailed them after using them for a few days saying they didn't seem to get dark while I was driving. I got a response that said that the ones I purchased do not "change behind the wheel". This was all a surprise to me. Long story short in the description of the ones that do transition behind the wheel says they change while "behind the windscreen of your car". I had thought that windscreen was the screen you pull over the inside of the sunroof or side windows to stop the glare of the sun. I never thought it was a windshield. After looking into it I found out that "windscreen" is a British term for windshield. I am not sure why an American business running a web page marketed to Americans are using a "British Term". Every response I get from this company also does not use the British term "windscreen" they use the more common American Term "behind the wheel". If "behind the wheel" was used on their webpage I would have known. The page should have used American Terms or made you aware that "windscreen" means windshield.
On November 11, I placed an order for lenses to be made for my frames as Lensabl advertises that they can make lenses for any frames. Accordingly, I sent in my $900.00 Porsche Carrera frames and lenses to have new lenses made. They cycled my order telling me via email that they could not make lenses for my frames. They refunded my money. However, they have, to this day, failed to return my $900.00 Porsche Carrera frames and lenses! Contacting them via email results in this response: Hi, 'Thank you for contacting Lensabl! Your ticket ID is #XXXXXXX. Due to high volume, response times may take longer than average. We promise to answer any questions you have in the order in which they are received, as soon as possible. Our normal business hours are Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST. PLEASE NOTE: Sending in multiple emails moves your inquiry to the back of our queue and will delay our response time further. Thank you for your patience! Many questions can be answered in our FAQ. Lensabl Customer Care www.lensabl.com This email is a service from Lensabl. Delivered by Zendesk.' I have never heard from them again! Where is my property?
Simply placed 4 orders in Oct 21, still waiting on 2 orders...can't get anything but reasons for delays. They have lots or reason why they cant finish...or even FIND my glasses sent in. I want my money back and done with this company. After 5 months - have NVER had a requested call - ever happen. this email back and forth is a JOKE.
Lensable Order # XXXXXXXXX On Dec 18, 2021 Lensable received and began to process my order. I received many delays relating to a claim that they could not obtain my PD for my prescription from the pictures that I sent and re-sent. They finally claimed that they had resolved this issue. Then there was a delay in processing and shipping my order, a significant delay. By this time they had my order for two months. They gave me the run around for weeks until finally admitting that they had "misplaced" (I believe someone has stolen) my ***. I am outraged by this. It is clear that they knew my frames were missing and that they were stalling untill I would just decide to go away.
8/31 - paid $181.80 to replace lenses on 2 glasses
8/31 - paid $181.80 to replace lenses on 2 glasses. 10/2 - I declined a markup of $252.58. 12/23 - They refuse to return my glasses. On 8/31, I paid Lensabi $181.80 to replace 2 sets of lenses on 2 pairs of glasses. After receiving my glasses, they emailed that an additional $252.58 was needed for to the lens materials needed to fill the prescription. I declined. They then sent an email stating that the frames are not acceptable and that I could buy frames from them. I again declined and asked them to return my glasses. They said that they would charge need $25 for shipping. I said that I wish they would not charge for the shipping, and requested my glasses be returned and money refunded. They returned only one pair of glasses. After several requests, they admitted that they were holding on to my other pair of glasses, because they already replaced the lenses. I told them that I didn't authorize the replacement, and suspected that by not paying the additional $252.58 mark up, the quality was likely questionable. So, I am requested that they send back my original glasses. As of today, 12/22, they are still holding on to my glasses, and are denying any markup attempt. Fortunately, I have the emails from Lensabi, documenting everything up to this point. They are holding onto my glasses in an attempt to extort money from me. So, at this point my recourse is to report them to the Complaintsboard.com, submit online reviews about their unethical practices, and try and get my glasses back through small claims court.
I contacted Lensabl for new lenses
I contacted Lensabl for new lenses. They were incorrectly made. I am asking that they be remade correctly. I ordered new lenses from Lensabl, sent my frames and after two weeks, they arrived back completed. unfortunately, they were incorrectly made. I contacted Lensabl and they suggested I go to my eye doctor and have both the lenses and my eyes rechecked. I did so and they found the following: 1. Lensable had not followed the prescription I had sent to them - specifically, the Axis and OC were wrong on both lenses. 2. The doctor had also made an error and took the opportunity to correct that error on this new visit. The doctor then wrote a note, as Lensabl had requested, explaining what had been wrong with the original Lensabl lenses and asked for a remake. I was told this is standard practice in the industry. Unfortunately, 'Lensabl' wants to charge me for the remake, saying the error was the eye doctor's and they are completely disregarding that they did not make the lenses correctly according to the original prescription in the first place. In addition, they are not honoring what they say is their policy, according to their website. *** Lensabl has offered to remake the lenses for an additional charge (70% of the price for progressive lenses). I believe, based on the lenses being wrong according to the original prescription anyway and from what is posted on their website, that they should simply correct their error and not use the doctor's additional error as a pretext for their own error.
Purchased contacts they charged my account immediately
Purchased contacts they charged my account immediately.Asked when coming said couldn't fulfill *** Still no refund/contacts don't fall for this. I purchased contact lenses on December 25 the charge cleared from my checking account on December 28 I checked back on the status of my order and it was as if it was completely removed I will include a screenshot of this display.I emailed the company then they told me that they cannot for fill my order because it did not match my prescription I sent a clarification and did not hear back. This was during the holidays so I waited roughly 4 days. Then I sent another email to check the status and again they said they could not fulfill my order. I explained that I wanted a refund if they could not and I still have not heard back from the company.Today is January 5 and I have sent two more emails and online chat request also attempted to call phone numbers they were listed online for the company which turned out to be *** phone numbers. I have still heard nothing back As to whether or not they are going to give me my money back or if they're even going to attempt to send a product. I would like to have this resolved I would like to have this posted so that other people do not fall prey to this I have never had a company take my money before verifying my prescription and then give me the runaround. My first attempt to contact them was December 30 I made multiple attempts on January 2 and again today January 5 I have made three more attempts no response since January 2 when I asked for a refund.
Customer Service is very poor
Customer Service is very poor. The broke my glasses, claimed they were going to replace them but instead sent me back the broken frames June 3rd I sent in a pair of Tiffany & Co frames to have the lenses replaced with an updated prescription. On June 24, I received an email saying my glasses were ready to ship and to confirm the style of frames. I never received the tracking number they said they would send so on July 2 I emailed them for an update. On July 8, I was told that they found something wrong on final inspection, they would be fixed and sent out. July 16, I had not heard from the, so I asked for an update, then I was told that my frames were broken and they would either replace the frames or if I had a receipt they would give me cash back. I did not have the receipt and they no longer make those frames so they said they would get me a pair of similar value. A frame was agreed upon and they said they would make them and send them out. On August 17, I received a package, with the broken glasses and no explanation. I emailed customer service for the explanation, they apologized, said they would give me an additional 10% off and they were still in the process of getting the new placement frames. August 28, I asked for an update. I got a response saying "our lab said we sent the original frames back to you". I emailed them back saying I know that, you said you were going to send me a pair of non broken glasses and an additional 10 % off. Waiting for a response to this email. I also received an email from them asking for me to leave a review on site jabber. I wrote an honest review with just facts similar to what I wrote here. Initially I was given a verified buyer star but I have now checked back and my review has been removed.
Lensabl made repeated errors in the manufacture of lenses
Lensabl made repeated errors in the manufacture of lenses. They did not respond to my request for a refund. The original order was Order #***, which I placed on May 4th on their website. I received the lenses (with my frames, I had ordered new lenses to replace my scratched lenses) on or about June 19th but they were not correct - the near vision portion was placed too low - and (after sending additional information to the company) I sent the glasses back for a do-over on or about June 21st. I received the new lenses on July 25th and I sent a complaint the same day, asking for a refund. No response to my recent complaint has been received or acknowledged by a human (there was an automated acknowledgement of receipt which indicated a response would take 24 business hours). The "ticket number" for my support request is #***). The amount that I paid to Lensabl was $408.53, which I paid through my HSA (unfortunately that means I could not dispute the charge). This is the email that I sent to Lensabl Customer Service on 7/25, and re-sent this morning: Dear Customer Service, I just received the lenses that were supposed to have been corrected from the previous mistakes that were made. Now they are worse, I can't see distance clearly at all (the previous mistake was the positioning of the near-distance progressive). I placed this order on May 5th. You sent me the lenses pretty quickly. For the do-over, you took over a month to return them to me (and only after I prodded you several times), with lenses that were worse than the first pair. Please send me a refund in the amount of $408.25 and I will gladly return these lenses to you when I go to a local optometrist to have the correct Rx done! Please confirm ASAP. Thank you
