Mullican knob creek 4in wide hand scraped solid hickory hardwood flooring
Ordered 20 boxes of above product on February 17, 2022. We received,an email at 9:30am on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 that the product will be delivered to us very soon. We were unavailable to read the email at that time. At 12:00pm the delivery driver called and said he would be here in less than an hour. No advance notice for us to be available and prepare for this delivery. Upon delivery there were several boxes damaged. Delivery driver refused to let us note this on delivery receipt, so we called the number we were instructed to call to your company while driver was still here. He still refused, dropped the pallets of flooring boxes and drove away, after we took photos of the damaged boxes. Upon opening boxes, we found the product to have serious manufactured defects, very poor quality and not acceptable or usable. In past years, we have purchased and used this exact same product from a large distributor and were told this product was the identical item number. The product we received has cracked boards, tongues missing, no beveled edges on female ends, very poor quality on finish and poor wood quality. Totally unsatisfactory.
Desired outcome: Please refund total purchase, including freight. $3,118.08, as this is not the product promised by Christian Diaz, sales. Also, please arrange for pick- up of this defective flooring with proper notice.
Sales
I requested a quote online from fastfloors.com and received a call back from a salesman. We discussed a price and I told him I would give him an answer in the morning. The next morning I received an email from the Sales Director (see attached) saying he could give me a better deal. I responded asking what he could do and I got a message back from the original sales guy saying:
Hi Doug,
I was under the impression you were going call me this morning to place the order.
You mentioned about talking to the partner? Unfortunately, the company does not have any more money to give you.
Best Regards,

I responded that his Director said he could do better and then I got this:
You told me yesterday that you were buying this morning. You did not. I closed your account and auto email was sent out from the GM desk.
The ship has sailed. (see attached)
That ship has sunk. I will never purchase from them.
ALSO: Note that the e-mails come from catalfamogallery.com I wouldn't trust them either.

Mannington adura max apex luxury vinyl plank flooring
This product has 3 different width planks. Each plank has 5 different patterns so that the floor repeat would be less noticeable. I bought 81 boxes of flooring or about 1900 sq ft. After opening 7 boxes and sorting different patterns, I realized I only had 2 different patterns of each board width. I began digging through both pallets to select random boxes. After opening 7 more boxes, I still had only 2 patterns per board width. This would mean every single row of boards in all 3 widths would have every other board exactly the same. Fastloors claims that Mannington will not replace the floor, but will allow a return if I pay for shipping and eat the cost of the original shipping. I have tried numerous times to get a response from fastfloors to arrange the shipping back to Mannington and they have not responded. I bought this product from fastfloors not Mannington and wouldn't know where to start to send this back.

Not interested in trying to fix the problem.
Could not talk to a manager or supervisor.
Acted not interested after the sale. Would not recommend...
Said to put in claim then never hear again.
Would expect more support from a reputable company. At least trying to work out a resolution of someme type.
Felt internet buying was the wrong thing to do even if local was going to cost more...

horrible customer service - shipment arrived damaged and fast floors did nothing! stay away
Fast Floors policy is to pay in advance. AFTER paying and the shipment is on the way, they alert you that you have 15 minutes to inspect the shipment for damage.
Well, the shipment arrived and we met the shipper at our dock. We requested the shipper wait while we inspected the pallet and he refused. We noted it on the bill of lading. Within 15 minutes we uploaded video and pictures to Fast Floors of the damage AS WE WERE UNPACKING THE PRODUCT.
Almost every piece was broken, all in the same location and it was poorly packed for being shipped halfway across the country. Even after calling and emailing several people at Fast Floors, we did not receive a response for more than one week, only to hear they were denying our claim because the damage was not noted on the bill of lading.
Who does business this way, always blaming others for their mistakes (poor packaging, poor customer service)?
Answer: Fast Floors. Bad customer service always loses - Stay away!
not satisfied
You will have a hard time with them if you need a refund. You see, it will be hard to get your money back, even if they were the ones to blame. I can't stand when someone does their job very poor and that's why I asked them either to change everything or to refund. They refused to do anything at all and started ignoring me.
I know that some people are very satisfied how these guys did their job. Well, I wasn't, it happens. Plus, their attitude shows me that next time I will have to choose a more reputable company.
Terrible company
Stay away from FastFloors.com (also associated with catalfamogallery.com)!
My wife and I spent over $1100.00 on hardwood flooring that not only took 3 times as long to get delivered but also was all damaged.
I was entitled to a special mail-in rebate offer that I didn't receive because they said I did not send in on time, had to include a copy of the shipping invoice that came in withe the shipment over a month late. Save your money and headaches - buy from your local retailer or at least not the above companies.
Unethical Behavior
After almost two months of waiting - and being promised that my tile order was "on the way" - I have been informed that the my tiles cannot be located - and my order was summarily cancelled. Bear in mind that my credit card was charged at the time of order - and that I was told last week that my order was actually on the loading dock - an obvious lie.
UNBELIEVABLE. STAY AWAY

Repeated delays, not yet received order after 7 weeks
On 6/28/2011, I placed an tile order with fastfloors.com. Before placing the order, the company assured me that the manufacturer had plenty of stock and they should get the item in 2-3 weeks. After I place the order, I'm told that this is a special order; they charged my credit card in full with a no-return, no-cancellation policy. Four weeks after that and I received no updates. I followed up with the customer rep and she said that the tiles were supposed to have arrived that week but they were not on the truck that they were supposed to be on (?!) and that it should arrive to them next week. Another week passes and still no updates until I follow up with her again; I call again and all she said was that she would contact me when she hears from the warehouse. I asked for a direct extension where I could reach her and she told me that she is "putting out fires all day" and that the best way to reach her is through the 800 number. I asked what specifically she would do to expedite getting the order to me once they have received it, and she did not give me any information. I follow up again the following week. This time I'm told that there has been a delay with the transfer truck and they have no clue whether the tiles are at the warehouse. I am in my 7th week of waiting and I still don't have my tiles. I keep following up and get the same canned answer. A search of online reviews of the company indicates indicate similar bad experiences, many angry customers, repeated delays and excuses, and appalling business practices and customer care. I wish I had read the reviews before placing my order. The tiles were the first thing I ordered for my renovations and the last thing to arrive; it has really delayed our renovation. I live in a co-op in New York and delays in my renovation schedule could result in fines from the co-op. If I had known that this would be the outcome, I would NOT have ordered tiles from them. I totally regret it. The lower prices are not worth the stress and anxiety that this has caused. I have been patient and have given the order its due time. Now I feel sick to my stomach that I have been strung along by this company. Even if I were to place the tile order with another company, it will be so late in the process that I will be going over my renovation schedule. Now I feel helpless and held hostage by this situation. I just want to know what's going on and to have my tiles shipped to me right away with no more delays and no more excuses.
DEFECTIVE FLOORING
Let’s call this “Why I will never do business with fastfloors.com again.” The following letter copy (initials replacing others’ names) pretty much summarizes our situation. It has been a long road. After dealing recently with the Florida BBB when we filed a complaint, fastfloors basically did two things – 1. Tried to base their non-response to the problem...

I ordered wood flooring from Fast Floors. while the salesperson was very helpful, the customer service stopped there. When my flooring contractor started to lay the floor he noriced that each box was an assorted mix of boards that were cupped and the random lengths were more than random. There are normally 4 differant random sizes. With this shipment there were so many differant lenghts, that you could not even duplicate the same length with many of the sizes. We installed the flooring in one of the rooms and my contracter refused to install it in the other rooms cause the material was so cupped and he said it was like they packaged all their retrn or seconds and shipped them to me. I filed a claim with Fast Floors to replace the 8 boxes of bad wood that I ahve left. After 2 months they said the manufaxture denied the claim saying it is within their normal spec. How can obviously cupped boards be within the manufactures specs. Give me a break. I really doubt they even sent the board samples to the manufacture. Then to top it all off, I sent in my rebate form, invoice and delivery receipt. on Sept. 6th. It had to be postmarked by Sept. 30th. On Dec. 1 I had not recd. any word from Fast Floors regarding my rebate. So when I inquired they said they recd. the rebate form but not the delivery receipt or invoice. This is a complete lie. everything was mailed together. If it was separated, it was on their end. I then emailed then a copy of the forms they calimed to be missing and was told it was too late, that it had to be postmarked by Sept. 30th. Which it originally was. Bottom line is that at this point I have recd. nothing but the run around. Defective material that they do not stand behind and no rebate as promised. I ahve emailed repeatedly to speak with a supervisor and cannot get ahold of anyone. I believe this company to be a complete faud. BEWARE!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
When you purchase a "random length" wood floor it will always be just that meaning the lengths will be all random, none uniform and that is the intended look. This might be an issue for an installer that does not have experience with random length floors. Additionally cupping refers to floors that have been installed and subject to very high humidity. When this occurs the edges of the boards are high and the center low forming a cupped look. This happens after installation. Your boards were slightly bowed which is perfectly normal for the type of flooring you purchased. As with other claims we’ve seen over the last 29 years, this is a case of the installer not having the experience or the desire to install the product you purchased.
Bad Copmany, stay away
Fastfloors advertises “110% Price Match Guarantee”. This is a complete scam. After placing the order inserting the prices from a legitimate on-line competitor (which were substantially less, by the way) they matched the price, but only beat it by 2.5%, or a 102.5% price match. I did not mind too much because I was not going to have to pay the state sale...

I read the complaint listed for fastfloors.com and it made me nervous. When I use a website for high dollar construction materials, bad reviews ares concerning. I am happy to report that I am entirely satisfied with the purchase, inc follow through, delivery and the quality of the product. The sales rep was professional and helpful. I would rate the experience as 9 out of 10. Quotes for local tile vendors for the same product were double the cost, even with the added shipping expense. I will happily use fastfloors.com in the future.
Hi,
My wife and I had a much less than satisfying experience with Fastfloors.com. Let me start by listing all the good points, before moving to the bad points:
1) Their prices are the best in town
2) We were able to resolve the matter in its entirety. Kudos to Sharon Spencer at their claims dept. for refunding our money. I know she was probably as frustrated as we were.
Now...for the bad points:
1) Some of the products they sell are outdated relative to what the flooring manufacturer is currently offering
2) They don't specify on their webpage that the product that you are buying is not of the quality that is currently being offered (e.g., veneer moldings versus solid hardwood moldings)
3) They have a difficult time in TIMELY responding to customer inquiries (you have to resort to being a pest in order to get the information you want)
4) Even when they assured us that one of the 2-month backordered items were going to arrive in the current quality, they let me know 2 months after we placed the order that they would not be able to fulfill my order (which my guess is that they get special deals on the outdated products because that merchandise needs to move). Logic tells me that if they are an authorized dealer for a product, they should be able to order/sell the most up to date products of that flooring manufacturer if they chose to.
My advice to you is to contact the flooring manufacturer directly and request the product numbers of everything that you plan on buying (make sure you know the material type, manufacturing process used, color) and then ensure that those product numbers appear in your invoice. That is your only protection when you get the wrong product and request a replacement or a refund.
In fairness, we did get our refund. But, two months and countless e-mails and voicemails later...was it worth trying to save money with Fastfloors.com? In our case, the answer is a resounding "NO".
F.Y.I...I am an attorney, not a flooring professional or "brick and mortar" store or other online flooring retailer. I am just a person who wanted to share his experience so that others in a similar situation can make a more informed decision when shopping online. :)
Best of luck to you all!
Fastloors is a scam. Go with other websites. All of the other sites ive dealt with are legit...
Price match guarantee a joke
I tried to post this but your site required the business address and I could not locate it on their site, fastfloors.com
I was shopping for Daltile Cristallo perennial accent tiles and found them at south cypress floors for $17.38 each.? I asked fastfloors.com to give me their 110% price match guarantee on the product.? The order seemed to go through but then I had a message on my voice mail telling me there was a problem.? I called and was told a member of management would get in touch with me.? Three days passed without a word.? I called back and was told they had checked with south cypress floors and the price was $18.60 each.? I told them I had a copy of the published price of $17.38 from south cypress floors.? They said if I faxed that to them, they would honor it.? I faxed it immediately.? About an hour later, I got an e-mail from them stating that my order had been canceled and all my information deleted from their system.? They said they were sorry they could not honor the price match, without giving a reason why.? They did not even offer to match the $18.60 which they said south cypress quoted to them.? I hope customers will steer clear of this company.? They don't do what they claim.

I wanted to buy some vinyl plank and researched several vendors. This company seemed like a good deal in that they offered a price match guarantee. I filled out the online application to verify the quote I had from another company and received an email stating their bid would be the same price less 10% provided they could verify the competitor's price. I spoke to another female sales person the following day since I received the quote online and asked (since it seemed too good to be true) if in fact the that was the price. She explained that yes that was the competitive quote and that I would hear from another member of her team. I didn’t hear back from any member of their company for 2-3 days. By the end of the week I heard from the assigned sales person who told me that he couldn’t honor the price and that the online quote wasn’t good.
So their online system said one price, the female sales associate agreed with it and then the male sales rep calls to tell me they won’t honor it.
My time is valuable and I won’t waste it on your website again. Get your story straight and your pricing straight. You lost a customer.
FastFloors.com has been in the industry for decades. The company has more products than any other web site in the industry. FastFloors.com has been in the Internet selling these products since 1995 which is longer than most of these other companies have even been in business period. FastFloors.com has assisted millions of Internet users with their flooring and tile projects. If you consider all that, then consider the only very, very few complaints listed on these complaint sites are related to price match issues, I'd really consider the source of these complaints.
The price match guarantee at FastFloors.com is listed on their site. It explains you can't go to four different web sites, pick and choose the cheapest product from each them try to come to FastFloors.com and have them match that. FastFloors.com is about service. If you want the best TOTAL price for your entire order being product, accessories and freight, and you want a company that will really stand behind the order, now and ten years from now, then buy from FastFloors.com.
Read the price match guarantee. It's all clearly spelled out on the site. If you still have questions call 1.800.764.1212 and ask to speak with one of the managers on staff. They'll be more than happy to assist you.
To FastFloors.com and Kimberly,
In FastFloors defense the $17.38 per piece that Kimberly found online was an outdated price that was being advertised by a company that had gone out of business and no longer updating their prices. We make it a priority to keep our advertising prices updated through the internet but sometimes it can be difficult. Since that price had been listed with this particular advertiser our vendor had raised prices and the new price on our website was $18.60 per piece.
As for Kimberly, we were extremely happy to have you as a customer and it was our pleasure to honor the $17.38 per piece price regardless. We look forward to working with you again in the future.

If anyone has a problem at FastFloors.com they can always call in and speak with a manager or in most cases one of the owners who are both there five days a week. I am sorry that some customers either don't read it or get confused with the whole PriceMatch process so let me shed some light here. As it was mentioned by more than one person, in some cases we will not match a price you find at another site and let me tell you the biggest reason why. Most all of the sites that list these lower prices are what's known as "affiliate" web sites. They don't sell anything. They sign up with our affiliate program then display our list of products on their site. The hope is you will find their site, click on a link, go to our site and make a purchase. When you do, they get a small affiliate fee. Obviously a lot of small fees add up and some do quite well promoting in this fashion. The problem we have with some of them is they do not update the prices. We update our prices to them daily, some of them just don't update them at all or not frequently enough. That is why in some cases you see this lower price on a web site, then click on the quote-buy button and land on our web site to see a different price. This is no scam or trick, it's just something we have control limited over. If we have affiliates that don't correct this after being warned we will drop them from our program. Unfortunately there are thousands of them in our program so it can be a challenge to police this. Again if you have any issues with FastFloors.com ask to speak to a manager or an owner. We're a family owned and operated company and will always take the call. Also if you come across one of these affiliate sites with pricing issues please let us know and we will get it corrected immediately.
I will never do business with this company again. First i purchase a laminate floor for about 800.00 dollars. Went back to them two months later to buy some more of the same floor but this time i did the price match. They agree to it. But two days later e-mail me and said they could not do because i did not order enough. The hell with this company.
###. That is all I have to say about Fastfloors.com They have websites that give these extremely low prices on flooring. When you go to check out, these sites lead you back to Fastfloors.com where the prices are much higher. And the famous Price Match, ha, what a joke. Try and get it...watch the run around that you get from the staff--Kimberly, Hilary, and Aaron. Oh, and they lost my order also. What a scam. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE WEASELS OR YOU WILL BE SORRY. FASTFLOORS SUCKS.
Yes, i did have a bad experience with fastfloors too. they cancelled my order and did the same to me. luckily i found Bid4floors.com they actually gave me a better price plus did not charge me for shipping. Bid4floors.com is the best website in my opinion.

Would not honor price match guarantee!
The site advertises a 110% price match guarantee. I found a price at south cypress floors in Florida for $17.38. I ordered the tile from fastfloors.com to take advantage of their price match guarantee. The next day I had a voicemail telling me they needed to speak to me. I called and was told there was a problem with the price match and a member of management would call me that same day. The third day after this, no one had called so I called back and was told that when they contacted south cypress floors the price was quoted at $18.60. I offered to fax a copy of the ad from South Cypress with a price of $17.38. The fastfloors representative told me if I did that, they would process my order. I immediately faxed the copy. Half an hour later, I received an e-mail stating that they could not honor the price match guarantee and giving a very vague list of potential reasons why, none of which applied. They actually insinuated that south cypress floors is not a qualified dealer and this is why they could not honor the price match. They said my order and all information pertaining to it was being deleted from their system. I know I don't want to do business with a company who doesn't stand by their own advertising claims. Neither should you!
