I googled my name and the third search that comes up is FastPeopleSearch.com of all my previous addresses, the name of all my family members, down to my cell phone and age. I NEVER CONSENTED to any of this information to be on the internet. And there is NO WAY TO REMOVE this information from their webpage. I sent an email directly to the webmaster to kindly ask them to take down the URLs of mine and my husband's name and they REFUSED and said I had to follow "prompts" to remove it when there are literally no prompts. In addition, they gave me some bizarre explanation essentially saying they are doing nothing wrong as all of this is public information. I responded that it may be available as public information but it is on their website. This is a VIOLATION OF PRIVACY. Given our professions it poses a SPECIFIC SECURITY RISK. A few months back I noticed some unauthorized charges on my bank account. There was little to no information about who was charging it, I contacted my bank and they gave me a phone number connected to the charge. The final offer was a refund of 3 months totaling $164 and because I said I knew the person who stole my info the charges were valid and only able to refund the amount for 3 months.
