Fiserv Lies and Deceit

Lies and deceit. 1st complaint- They changed the terms when I first started- I was supposed to get an affinity bonus with my bank of America account. It didn’t happen. A reduction of .15 basis points reduction on the first 12 months. (Loss of $6,000). 2nd complaint- I was supposed to have NET processing (where fees were refunded if we issued a refund) but were signed up with GROSS processing which cost us over $3000 a year. I did not notice this until I had another company do an audit to requote us. (Loss of $15,000). 3rd complaint- They sent me to their collection department alleging that we did not have funds in our account when a chargeback for $200 was presented. We have over $4,000 in the account at all times. I spoke with three different departments, asked for statements multiple times and had no satisfaction. A supervisor was supposed to call a week ago. There was no call. I paid the fee to avoid having a hit to our credit report. (Loss of $100 and hours of phone time). Whether they are dishonest or incompetent, I will let their customers and future customers decide. My account is [protected] if any representative would like to address any of these issues.

Recommendation: Avoid FirstData / Fiserve - Check out Cardfellow or Worldpay.

Fiserv CheckfreeWeb/Customer Support

I am absolutely furious. I tried to log on to my bill pay account at https://billpay.checkfreeweb.com/imm/Auth/Login/CFWB2 , UID FranKottwitz. When I enter my password, I get a message that a security code cannot be sent because "you don’t have an active email address on file."

I have been trying to resolve this many times over the last few days...BECAUSE I need to PAY BILLS

It took me days and several hours to get around the automated systems that you think are great. I finally got to a human...who had terrible English...and was "transferred to the right department. Wrong. No help at all. Second call: Ditto.

This was after more than an hour and 15 minutes on chat with folks who will "send me to the right place" -- Nope. I am absolutely over this.

Desired outcome: I want a human support person to call me at [protected] ASAP to fix this. After this month, i'll be changing systems.

Fiserv Bill pay 1st midamerica credit union

Since October 2021 I insisted my banking account at 1st MidAmerica Credit Union be frozen I had had it open for two weeks I had used to bill pay service and the first month my creditors started receiving multiple payments that were unauthorized out of my account. These unauthorized payments at a later time would be returned out of the blue for nssf account unknown or other multiple fictitious reasons that money never return to my account. Thousands and thousands of dollars are missing out of my account every one of my accounts are a mess and we're still trying to figure it out. The bank has no knowledge but I'm sure they're just covering their rear end there is fraudulent as Fiserv and have been less than accommodating.

This have ruined my life at a time I should be retiring I spend day and night for a year now trying to prove without any records or any assistance from the bank what were my charger and what work what were fraudulent I had the bank account for two weeks it is still occurring.

Desired outcome: I want someone to investigate I want my money returned I want to be paid for the time that I have lost with my parents who are in hospice

Fiserv power bill

I have to pay my power bill with ga power through billmatrix. The problem is I can't do that because billmatrix has a policy on how many payments you can make and I've hit the maximum number of payments witch is the stupidest thing I have ever heard for a utility bill. I guess if my power gets shut off it's cuz BillMatrix won't let me pay my bill. I highly recommend if you can use a different company!

Fiserv Unauthorized debit to my checking account

On July 29, 2011 my account was debited for a subscription I canceled in August 2010. At the time I canceled service I was disputing the charge they debited my account at that time. I was told by the girl I spoke with that I could not get the refund for the $45.00 they debited in 2010 but she would cancel subscription to avoid any further charges. On July 29, 2011 I noticed that my account was debited again by FiServ for they service I had canceled. I spoke with my bank and was advised to contact FiServ AlertMe department. I called and spoke with Gaga and he assured my I would be credited and the subscription was canceled. I have disputed the charge with my bank and FiServ but have not received a refund. I feel I desire a refund and should not be held again for something I do not want and have no service.

Fiserv Denied two payments

FiServ is the apparently the puppet-master behind CBS/Evercom (Correctional Billing Services), a company that handles outbound calls from detainees and inmates at correctional facilities across the USA. Most people, including me and a family member, use the prepaid option with CBS/Evercom, and payments can be made online.

FiServ, however, makes it as hard as possible to fund these accounts on any kind of timely basis to stay in touch with family members with seemingly ridiculous rules posted NOWHERE. Transgress one of their rules, like trying to make more than one payment in a 24 hr. period, and they lock out your credit card for a week.

They will only allow CBS/Evercom to accept one payment per 24 hours per credit or debit card. You may know this, or not, or have known it and forgotten, but the "fail" response on CBS/E's system doesn't necessarily tell you WHY the payment attempt failed---so you try again, thinking you typed a wrong number. Try more than once, and your card is locked out for a week.

It doesn't make sense not to let me make more than one payment in 24 hrs. to begin with---I have plenty of money in the bank, and I am trying to give CBS/Evercom $100 each on two accounts.

The unfailingly polite customer service reps at CBS/Evercom with whom I've spoken and IM'd numerous times are bound by FiServ's rules, yet cannot explain why they exist.

What's missed here is the human story---families have NO OPTIONS except to use CBS/Evercom, and sometimes it takes 10 days or more to maneuver through the many hoops and rules and penalties imposed to prepay the account so the family member can call collect. The c/s rep at CBS/Evercom told me tonight, "FiServ is strict about these rules."

The correctional calling system stinks, and the stench comes from FiServ. If YOU have a family member or friend in a US correctional facility, see if the telecommunications company handling the calls uses FiServ for their payment processing. If so, call the public relations office at BOTH companies and tell them what you think. Also, tip off a reporter in your local newspaper, and ask him or her to do an investigative report on the whole correctional facilities calling rip-off. We CAN change this if we ban together.

Fiserv demands paper enrollment with SS#, DL number and photo, email, date of birth, address, phone and subscriber id number along with non-secure bank paper letter ... all sent to PO Box in Columbus, OH. Very non-secure practices.
